Had such a disappointing experience. I was treated super rude and condescending by a blonde lady at the counter. I am a regular and she would not let me in the class as i was 2 minutes (yes 2.) late. The classes i do each week ALWAYS allow 3 minutes time for people to hurry in, especially during high traffic hours. This is not how you treat your customers, especially regulars.

Ive done sessions with Adam and AD and its the best thing that i have done in dubai, i love their Energy same as their Vibe, and if i have more time id go more often.

Studio has such great classes! However, some really poor form coaches (eg. Adam - typical troubled individual that exerts his passive aggression as a defense mechanism)

NEVER been a fan of class based workouts. Always thought they would be boring & repetitive. Until i tried Platform! The coaches are so inspiring, the music is so good and the team are so helpful and friendly. Try them and get ready to fall in love

Great gym, lots of options of classes with lots of different and great instructors. Have been going here for a few years now and it feels more like a community than a gym. Would recommend giving it a go!

Had an unpleasant experience with this gym and the instructor James Loughray. I had a class booked with him for 7 pm. I got to the Platform 10 min early, signed in with my name at the reception, WITH THE INSTRUCTOR, James. Got changed and saw people filing into the class so followed along. I was the last in line and about to enter the class when James told me that it was full and shut the door in my face! Was subsequently told by the staff that I was late, and that my spot had been given to someone else on the waitlist! I was not late; after all the back and forth with the staff it was 7: 01 pm. What an ungracious, disrespectful, and inconsiderate way to treat your customers!

While I understand that late policies are important to ensure that classes run on schedule, it is entirely unfair to shut your customers out and give up the spot they booked when they SIGNED IN, were ACTIVELY on gym premises, and were ENTERING the class along with everyone else. The instructor knew I was booked in his class and he gave my spot up!? I am genuinely appalled.
Just sounded to me that they overbooked the class and made me think I was in the wrong instead of recognizing their mismanagement.

Overall, I will not be returning to this gym that doesn’t care for all MY time and efforts I put into joining the class. I wasted time, fuel, energy, and plans to make it to this class, so just giving me another class to book at your gym is NOT ENOUGH. Not to mention the humiliation and rudeness of being shut out in front of the whole class.

The Will-They-Won’t-They-Let-Me-In is a gamble I am not willing to take; this gym isn’t all THAT, it’s a normal gym, with normal classes, nothing that justifies this attitude towards paying customers. The employees lack any understanding or remorse for their unreasonable late policy, and they gaslight the people that are NOT EVEN LATE!

There are tons of other gyms in DIFC that treat you with respect, dignity, and poise, and I will be prioritizing them from now on.

I recently attended a Pilates Burn class with Molly, while Molly's class was enjoyable, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon arriving early for my class, I was met with a chaotic scene at the reception desk. Despite at least five people waiting, there was only one staff member present. It was evident that she was struggling to handle the situation effectively.

When it was finally my turn, the staff member barely acknowledged me and simply pointed towards the workout studio. I asked for assistance with finding a locker and setting up, but she informed me that she couldn't leave the desk due to being alone.

As a first-time visitor, it is crucial to feel welcomed and receive proper guidance in navigating the facility. Unfortunately, this lack of attention and support left me feeling unwelcome and lost, which was disheartening.

The disappointment continued when I finished the class and sought out the showers and lockers. The state of the facilities was appalling. Towels were haphazardly scattered, some visibly used and dirty. The showers themselves were far from clean, and the sink tops were flooded with water. It was a genuinely unhygienic and unpleasant sight.

I spoke with another lady in the locker room, she confirmed that overcrowding was a common occurrence and even worsened in the evenings.

While I understand that the overwhelmed receptionist may not be entirely at fault, it is clear that the studio's staffing and facility management need improvement.

Regrettably, I am hesitant to return back.

Useless staff. Was promised 3 times to be sent information about packages by email, never got anything apart from messages “we will check with the team”. Absolutely upsetting! With such treatment of the clients, not recommend to anyone to waste your time!

Extremely unpleasant customer service. I really wouldn’t recommend, this business will soon tank because of very strict and unpleasant policies

Unreasonble strict policy
I was late for 5 mins because I was lost along the way, and they told me that you couldn’t attend the class. Even 1 minute late was not allowed. You’re the fitness class. People go there to enjoy.

The last time I went there the class started late and nobody said anything. So many people have to wait outside. First few minutes there is not much instruction given so don’t try to make an excuse.

This time they charged me. This is one of the trashy place I have been in Dubai. I can’t believe they still operating. Please avoid. They just don't care about the customer. That’s why there are so many class available in classpass. Please go to somewhere else.

Looks like my comment was deleted, poor quality customer service, worst gym I have even been in Dubai. Unqualified receptionist, who almost fight with me physically when I tried to open the door at the class I was 20 seconds late and my stuff including the phone and shoes was inside.

Attended a cycling class, but I was seated at the far end at the back. Before the class I requested Janice at the reception to be transferred, since there is an available slot in front, but was not granted because I am using ClassPass. Either a club member or membership via third party, I still paid a premium amount for that class; it’s just ridiculous not to be transferred even though there’s an available slot.

Unreasonably strict policies.
A few minutes late for a workout and you can’t get in. Also they made me pay for this class as I booked it through the class pass app.

My morning was ruined by no obvious reasons and this is definitely not those emotions you want to get from a fitness studio. So better to avoid them if you want to enjoy your training

Extremely disappointed with this location specifically. I have used the Marina location regularly and the staff are amazing and super helpful. The DIFC branch however are terrible. It's a nightmare to find. I called 5 times and was 15 minutes early, however when I did arrive it was 2 minutes late and they refused entry despite not picking up the phone to assist with directions. 5 staff members standing around doing nothing. The lady also mentioned she just turned two other people away who were 1 minute late!

Know your market. Dubai is full of busy professionals and 1 or 2 minutes should be accepted as they do in other locations. Failing that, at least pick up the phone to assist your clients.

I suspect this location won't last long.

Great 1st yoga class experience, Melissa was a great teacher and made me feel super comfortable, Farah at the reception welcomed me with open arms, showed me around, super warm and friendly and great sales women. See you very soon platform you converted me

Horrendously pretentious, I came 3 minutes late (because I had to do a 10 minute walk from the wrong taxi spot) and they wouldn’t let me in, acted like it’s the end of the world- you don’t miss much in 3 minutes.

Never coming back.

Spinning with Adam! Best instructor ever! His class is the most structured class you'd have! He cares about every person in the class through guiding people on the right posture and pushing everyone's limit. His music is the best! Though you will be sweating while spinning, Adam's class feels like you are part of a big dance group with his amazing choreography! Most importantly, his positive energy is unbeatable! If you have't taken a class with him, please do so and thank Platform Studios for having him as part of their family:)

Amazing, my first ride class with Adam. A killer but so enjoyable. All staff super friendly especially MJ on reception.

One of the best places I worked out in Dubai. Staff and extremely nice and professional.classes are very enjoying and challenging.

Unfortunately it's the worst gym and worst management I have dealt with. Unprofessional and not recommended. Ps if u are late for 1 min (even though ur seat should be reserved which u are paying for at the end) you are out of the class! Amazing logic.

By far the worst experience I have had, the DIFC branch doesn’t have proper changing facilities for ladies, the blow dry area is in a corner and always hot and crowded. Very bad luckily I took a trial package and this is the end of it. I prefer Barry’s and Motion and Crank over this.

Platform isn’t just my gym, it’s therapy for me! The staff and coaches are amazing, always greet you with a positive smile. The trainers are ver well knowledge and focus on your progress!

I love this gym so much! Instructors are absolutely amazing - particularly Adam’s cycling class! Playlist and energy are immaculate & don’t get less good with every repeat! Highly recommend

I love the vibes, I love the energy, cool environment, amazing staff and least but not last the best trainers ever. I'm literally addicted to Adam's ride class.

Amazing place to workout, great energy from all the staff, management and of course the instructors.
Special shout out to Adam, whose class is a literal party with great tunes all while burning crazy amount of calories, also need to try Mila, Hendrik, Clifford and Megan's classes, such great energy by all of them, makes working out actually something you enjoy doing and don't want to miss out on rather than something you have to do.

I take Barre with Mila every Tuesday at 7pm. It’s the strongest class of my workout and it’s also the most fun! The class itself is very effective, Mila is nice and caring of her class members, she makes everyone fell like they are part of one team. Moreover, her enthusiasm is so contagious and energizing that you don’t mind for all the hard exercises. I wish there were more classes with Mila from 7pm, please add some!

My first experience at The Platform was a spin class with Adam, and ever since I kept coming back for his Ride class. The playlist, the vibe, his energy - it was such an uplifting experience. Highly recommend the class for the DIFC branch.

I was charged 2 times for one class.
I paid online and then the staff charged me 142 dhs for the class at the branch in DIFC. I don't recommend this gym to anybody honestly they have no sense of respect toward regulars.
Not recommended berrys and f45 are much better and honest. Same price for everyone.

Love the platform studios! The trainers are spot on, I absolutely LOVE Adam’s spin class he is an amazing instructor the energy and playlist is always absolute fire

Professional team of very nice people. Wide variety of classes, with some hard to find group classes in Dubai in my living area. Clean and quality environment.

Went to barre class really intense but I like it. Also boxing room seems nice. Nice facilities too. They're a bit expensive thougu

The Platform Studios made me realise why I can't go a day without training. The trainers are amazing, they helped me to seriously get my fitness goals to a different level. 100% would recommend them to anyone!

Ive been doing Barre at The Platform Studios for the last 3 months and all of the teachers genuinely helped me to get fitter, straighten my posture and generally made all the classes pass by in a sec.

I cannot wait to be back after the holiday at The Platform Studios to have a little escape from my busy schedule.

DIFC branch has awesome facilities and instructors - I tried HIIT and yoga classes, but there's also boxing, spinning and everything you can imagine. I always like coming back to Platform. Tip: Be on time, especially if you are coming for the first time. They will not let you in the class if you are late)

I started going to the platform studio 6+ months ago and have loved it ever since. They have variety of classes, energetic trainers, great music and good energy.

This platform studio really does have everything you could possibly want from a gym - highly recommend.

Can not say enough good things about Platform Studios. They are constantly brining in new world class trainers and introducing new classes. The rooms are very clean, the staff always welcomes me when I come in. There's a smoothy bar, cryo freeze, showers, lounge, great lighting and music. I hate going to the gym - but I love going Platform Studios.

Extremely disappointed in the studio staff members. The staff should definitely get retrained on how to speak and deal with their customers. Was assisted by Phil: he was rude, completely unempathetic, very cold and careless. Never visiting again just because of staff attitude overall. Platform studios, I hope you take the feedback on board and train your staff on customer relationships. Thanks!

I loved the Boxercise class, Barr and the HIIT classes are amazing too. If you are an indoor gym-cycling fan - you will enjoy the cycling classes too.

The schedule of the studios are pretty diverse and you are guaranteed to find something you like at a time that suits the busy Dubai lifestyle.

Platform gyms (both locations, Marina and DIFC) are excellent. The trainers are my favourite in Dubai, the facilities are fantastic, the whole support team and superstars, and the classes are pumping!
AND - you get an ice cold towel after each class, BLISS!

I took my first cycle class in their DIFC gym, and I signed up right away. Annie and Chelsea are amazing! Great energy and guidance. The gym is very well maintained by their excellent staff. Worth every penny

Challenging to find availability for classes in the late afternoon after work, even when trying to book the same day schedule is released.
Asked for a refund given it was very difficult to use the package purchased and haven’t received a response.

The first weeks i try lots of classes and all was so good but my favourites are Charlotte in yoga she helped me alot in class it was my first time and the way she looked after me and helped me was excellent
lLindsey her power her class in cycle was the best i did lot of cycle all the instructors were amazing but she was on fire i loved her classe

And the way they arrange and clean everything because of covid is so good i just love everything about this branch also 3 hr free parking and easy to park and get to class

So they introduced a new policy to charge members on top of the subscription if they don't cancel 14 hours before the class.fine. You attend the class then receive a call from them convincing you that you didn't attend to charge you additional amount. Well done.

First experience here was really nice. I called the DIFC branch and Marie was very helpful with explaining everything. She even personally whats apped me to make sure I understood the platform booking process. I've taken Hiba's cycling classes in the past and I'm definitely addicted. The facility itself is also really nice.

Top of the line equipment, great classes and friendly and trendy feel! Highly recommend this place.

A youthful energetic vibe. Great classes with qualified instructors. Quite friendly with a state of the art facility. For parking you get a free 3 hours when u stamp your ticket from the paid visitor parking.

I rented a stationary bike after reading about this offer in TimeOut Dubai. The offer was 2,000 aed for two weeks plus a security deposit of 1,000 aed. When the guys delivered it, I was told that renewal will be 500 aed/ week. When my two weeks were up, the company informed me that they wanted 1,000 aed per week.
As much as I understand that we all have to be flexible, it is unethical to hike the price of the rental.

New Fitness center inside Index Mall. Just classes, not a normal gym. I didn't attend any class but staff was very friendly and overall design looks fancy.
