The Sky 2 Korean Restaurant Tecom

I wish I could give zero star! I don’t want to make reviews like this but my visit to this restaurant is one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. I have been craving for Korean BBQ so I Googled, this one is the nearest to me. I called their phone number to inquire, the staff who answered was struggling to speak in English. I asked if it’s unlimited and how much per person, he said 75aed. I asked until what time is the restaurant open, I think he didn’t understand so I said “is it 11pm or 12am? ”, he replied it’s 11pm then laughed. So weird. Anyway, I decided to go with my friend. She arrived earlier than me and got us a table. When we were about to order, we asked the waiter what is the 75aed and 210aed. He said, soup. The 210aed is good for 2-4 persons. So I asked, what is the inclusion in the 210aed. He answered me “soup”. My friend and I were both dumbfounded as we couldn’t understand him. He couldn’t speak English well and couldn’t explain to us the menu. We asked another waiter, same situation. We asked and he said, both soup but the 210aed is good for 2-4 persons. So I said, no inclusion? No meat or anything? He said, there’s meat. I said, so where’s the selection for the meat? He couldn’t answer us clearly. We were getting upset so we decided to just leave. We checked the menu and I honestly think it’s overpriced for a Korean BBQ. I don’t mind paying as long as it is clear to me what am I paying for. In the Philippines, you pay 500php or below and you get unlimited meat + side dish & drinks. In Korea, so many Korean BBQ restaurants which offer the same or ala carte (of course, I am not expecting the same price here in Dubai but I honestly think it’s overpriced). If it’s 200aed per person for an unlimited or Korean BBQ buffet, it is fair then. But in this restaurant, I don’t know at all. First, they should make their menu much clearer and get staff can converse in English, basically.

We had a phenomenal experience at this restaurant. First time we had korean bbq and our waiter Rajesh did a wonderful job guiding us through the process and explaining how to do everything properly. Food was very delicious, the beef was tender and juicy just how you'd expect bbq'ed beef to be and the kimchi was also great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Outstanding service! The waiter spent a lot of time advising us on what to try for our first Korean BBQ. The food was delicious, would 100% recommend. The sides are fabulous and suit the high quality beef a lot. If you're looking for a wonderful experience this place is the way to go.

Authentic Korean. I hope they are planning to add more noodle dishes and dessert selection.

I went with my daughter for her birthday, she wanted to remember the time she spent in Korea a year ago.
We went for the Barbecue, we order 3 meats (2 of them pork), the side plates as well as the soup served were appropriate.
We had a great evening, she was happy of finding the same concept as she had back in Korea.

Food are authentic korean with proper Korean taste, since its inside hotel. Parking is not an issue.
Price are worth it, if you like Korean.

Was taken here by a Korean friend (also birthday mate) it was a blast. It is authentic Korean food, despite it being my first introduction to Korean cusine, i have to say i enjoyed it alot. Highly recommended.

Before COVID 19, Buffiet was provided with various delicious foods. But nothing at the moment.

But please do not be frustrated.

BBQ table is unavailable so they helps us to cook the meats and bring it to the table. I’d believe it will be better if bbq by ourselves. It’s a little expensive. Three meats and one main food cost 450AED.

Hidden Gem in Dubai. The food is incredible and authentic. Very hospitable staff and price was great. One of those places you can go their and enjoy the food in a relaxed atmosphere. There are also dine in specials too.

The food is delicious and the price for the buffet also good, the service is amazing especially the waiter (Alam) he was so nice.

Super lecker und gute Auswahl aber leider sehr teuer allein beim Bier und Soju aber halt authentisch wie in Korea

OK, so I'm going to give it a 5, but only if you skip the pedestrian buffet and head straight to the specially prepared hibachi foods. It is here that they really shine! The food is genuine and fresh and cooked right in front of your tastebuds. It doesn't hurt that they serve Korean Soju and excellent lagers and ale. Go there, enjoy!

great value for money and a fantastic experience with the hospitality team that serves and attend to our needs.affordable samgyupsal and a wide selection of buffet meal without hurting your pocket. Best part is you could have a true korean dinning experience because they also offers soju.
