We stayed at the Sofitel for a week and this was the only let down. Very bland food and no atmosphere at all.

Food was nice, exceptional service by Iris who explained the menu really well and was very patient, great service!

In an environment mimicking a library, good international food is served with a nice service.

Nice limousine pizza with 3 pizza options you can choose with in the pizza!
Also comes with a chocolate crepe dessert, potato wedges & pasta “veggie or chicken”.
It also comes with 3 optional dips!
For the delivery it came hot “as i live in the palm Jumeirah“

The atmosphere of the place is very nice and beautiful, the service and food was good, Carine was very helpful and kind made the experience good and had great knowledge on the menu! Loved the recommendations.

Service is reflected in the Attitude of the staff and their ability to understand the customers concern. However, trying to book a reservation at this restaurant is met with 30mins of wait time on hold and disconnection. An Operator 'Angel' who is clueless or unable to assist, a staff 'Nidal' who responds arrogantly with customers and the Duty Manager who refuses to attend your call. If this is the preview of the service at the time of booking, what can one expect once you reach there. Thank you for sharing your level of service and customer experience through your inconsiderate staff.

I’m sorry to say this was one of the lowest rating I’ve ever given to a restaurant, me and my friends had a lower than expected experience with the quality of food, despite our different dishes.
The salad, pasta, and steaks are some of our orders that we all agreed they tasted badly.
Aside from that, the stake was presented without the suitable knifes, only the ones that we cut cakes with:)
When some one asks for a good knife they brought just for him!
I was invited, but I’m the one who paid, I believe 5 dollars will be an expensive price for my lunch here.

Superb choice for a family brunch! Excellent food options, kids play area, magician, and free flowing. You don't need anything more for a brunch. Special mention to Gopal who managed our entire reservation to service for a group of 7 families, and not to forget Iris who ensured we were in good spirits and smiles throughout the brunch.

We came for a Sunday brunch with the family. We booked it well before the time and were seated in front of the door. They refused to sing happy birthday because there was apparently there was no cake and the clean up time was extremely slow, they constantly needed reminders.

Great place for a family. Iris was very friendly and was helpful.

Restaurant ‘The World Eatery’ offers a spacious inside and outside choice of tables and comfortable seats.

We arrived at 15: 00,10 minutes before closing time.

Eusebio welcomed us as was it one hour earlier in time and provided us with a 3-course lunch above standard and fantastic service.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday afternoon brunch, with drinks and mocktails, a wide buffet to choose from of salmon, salads, sushi, pastas, pizza, and mains. The staff are so friendly and polite.
They have a play area with face painting and balloons for the kids as well as a magician who comes to yourtableto perform magic n tricks. I thought I almost saw my DH disappear.loll just kidding.

Despite that the brunch was actually nice and very family friendly. The communication with the hotel and their customer service was terrible. When we called they Informed us that a play area for the kids was included, including slides and kids pool. We called again to confirm if the area is indoors or outdoors. Which was the reason we picked this Sunday family brunch. When we arrived there was a small play area with some activities (which is good but not as communicated) - we let the restaurant staff know that we were communicated that the kids have access to the play area/kids club and they said sorry this is miscommunication by the person who answered our call and they called for the recreation manager who was not helpful at all and asked us if we wanted to use the kids club he can give us a better rate for entry. I’m disappointed at the lack of proper communication and more so the way the staff handled it

Very good but a very small selection considering that it's the only dinner buffet at a massively large resort.

Quality is good but selection is small and it can get very crowded.

We’ve just had alovely family brunch at the Sofitel, The Palm. The food was great, lots of choice. The kids were happy and entertained and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Special thanks to Rahul Justin. Rockstar!

I would like to mention that Anita, Manoj and Thet were absolutely outstanding from the very first moment we stepped in the restaurant. Their service, attention were superb. We had a margaritha pizza -one the best ever! Fish&Chips for my child, who enjoyed it a lot. A special mocktail was prepared for my husband by Manoj. Amazing! And the final touch: a birthday surprise by all the staff, singing joyfully. Needless to say that this has been a very memorable dinner at the restaurant and the employees mentioned above made it possible.

As a guest from Sarai Apartments they don't allow you to use the entry next door, where the restaurant is, but make you walk 5 minutes to the main entrance and then all back again, that's non-sense. Please change that. Prices are high. Salad was too salty. Packing food was first denied only after insisting they did. Thanks for the friendly service anyways, and the free sorry drink was kind.

*** Sunday Family Fiesta Brunch ***
Absolutely loved it.
Although while entering we were a bit apprehensive as the area was not that big compared to other similar family brunches but infact this is one the Best family brunch we have had in ages.

The food was really tasty, fresh, succulent and made from the best raw materials.
The Salmon was so tasty and juicy that i have become a fan of it now.
The variety was not Grand or huge compared to other brunches, but believe me each of the item was really amazing and by half the way we were so full and contented that we did not even bother to check out other items.

There are quite many options for mocktails, cocktails and juices and all the drinks that we ordered were very refreshing and flavour full. They were served within reasonable time.

The staff were attentive and all kept coming to check. Infact Manager came twice. This even when the place was totally full and very busy.

The cherry on the pie was the magic show. The magician was visiting each of the tables and doing personalized magic show. This made the kids really really excited and made the whole experience one of the most memorable one. There were other kids activities as well like face painting etc

We left the restaurant contended and satisfied.

We stayed at the Sofitel last week and had the most amazing experience at the World Eatery! The manager Narayan and Chef Swarup we’re so kind and had great attention to detail when it came to my sons food allergies. We were so grateful to be catered for by them. I will be returning to Dubai and this hotel and restaurant. The whole team of staff were so kind and paid so much attention to my little boy which made our experience and holiday the best! Definitely visit the world eatery it’s a great place to dine!

We tried the Family Fiesta Brunch. This place is great! The atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly specially Thet. Drinks are not bad with many options. The variety and quality of the food are below the average and don't meet expectations. Hence, it is overpriced whereby at this price you can have a real brunch in any 5 stars hotel in Dubai. Sweets are very limited and not tasty at all.

We went for the Family Fiesta brunch - I must say we had a great time! The food was great, ambiance was amazing and most importantly the entertainment for kids was SOOO helpful - They had a whole play area with face painting, magician and an open dessert buffer for the kids - Definitely recommended

Wir waren zum Buffet im The World Eatery. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Alle Speisen, von Salaten über Hauptgerichten bis hin zu den Desserts, waren sehr lecker. Man kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Fantastic Saturday family brunch. So much variety of food on the buffet and plenty of fun activities for the children. The staff are so friendly and highly attentive. Highly recommended restaurant for a weekend with family.

The food during breakfast is delicious and many options are available at the buffet. Special thanks to Arjon who provided excellent service.

First time of trying this restaurant and had a great breakfast with lots choice and fresh juices, service was very good in particular Eusebio who offered to get our boys hot chocolate which calmed them down, highly recommended this place!

The food was outstanding and the restaurant had a lovely family atmosphere. The only reason that I have not given it 5 stars is because the drinks are ridiculously overpriced at 75aed for a beer!

A different type of brunch, highly recommended. Great food, nice singer and very accommodating friendly and attentive staff.

Poor quality food at the brunch. Staff nice and kind, beach and pool access great, but guys spend a bit more for the food. You can't give me a fish and chips and chicken Tikka as main course which cost 20aed each in any shopping mall food court, come on.

In if you want to offer pizza get good quality ingredients for that too. The pizza was not eatable

A lovely location for lunch. The weather is great, so try and get an outdoor table.

Tried the Hot Mezze Platter, Pan Fried Sea Bass, and the Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce. The mezze was average. The fish was excellent and filling without being too heavy. The pasta was perfectly al dente.

The Cucumber and Lime Cooler was very refreshing. A special mention to their house bread which was soft and flavourful.

Pros: we had some very nice waitress helping and serving us during the Brunch
Cons: Food selection, presentation and quality average. Good place to go with friends and family, but the price is a bit to high for the food you get,

Lovely terrace for having your brunch or dinner. Delicious food and good service.
It feels like a holiday retreat.
