Takes a long time for the food to get to your table but everything we tried was yummy. Portion of biriyani is good for two heavy eaters/three light eaters

Very average service, food and ambiance, pricey for all of the above. There are many good restaurants around JLT compare to this.

Have been going here since 2016. This time we found that certain sections of menu have been discontinued. No mocktails and very limited desserts. This is a celebrity chef restaurant, people come here for wholesome experience. And not to just have main course or starters. I won't be going again. If the management is seeing this, please consider bringing back the whole menu.

Zubaish has been excellent. Food is amazing, we loved everything that we ordered. Roti was nice and soft unlike other places.

Quality and quantity for the value of money we spend for the brand is not much worth. Had ordered Mutton biriyani through noon for AED 40 that too the cost was AED 66 which I got for discount but the quality and quantity didn't not satisfy my demands. Sorry to express it!

Wanted to experience Sanjeev Kapoors brand and visited this small cozy place.there is 4 tables in a small box and they serve Indian food. I dont know if the biryani went wrong or that's how they make biryanis. I didn't enjoy the food.

Decent food. Congested seating and poor air conditioning else would've been a nice experience overall. Loads of scope of improvement!

Ordered chef special cooked meat, Adraki dhaniya paneer. Paneer is tasty but meat is little sweet taste.

The best combination of flavours and care and emotions sway with the delightful treats one can experience in this newly lit branch of the Yellow Chilli by Sanjeev Kapoor.
I've grown up watching Sanjeev Kapoor recipes back in India with my mom, so lately we want to try a new place and I couldn't think of a better place than The Yellow Chilli as they had just opened its fourth branch at the Palm Jumeirah. Other existing venues in the Yellow Chilli series include Burjuman, Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Al Qasba in Sharjah.
The place is known for its Indian North-West frontier and Mughlai cuisine. The menu has been creatively done which include comprise traditional Indian dishes capturing the local essence. The street food-inspired starters going all the way to fusion plates like Dahi Ke Kebab, with Labneh stuffing, capturing the local essence.
The restaurant layout is neat, not congested, and the lighting and lamps and the wall shade was sober and soothing to the eye.
Their astounding menu flashes about the unique delights from some inspired exclusive gastronomical finesse. Our meal was pretty sensational overall.
The first thing we tried was Dahi ke Kebab along with Soya chaap in a starter a delight for veggie lovers like us. It was Crunchy and delicious.
For the main course we had Baigan ka Bharta, (And this is the dish for which I will keep coming back to this restaurant the Smokey flavour gravy is the perfect balance of spice.)
Paneer Tikka Masala (my personal favourite- paste marination was flavourful and the paneer was grilled to perfection.) All our breads were perfectly cooked and fresh.
Taste: The Yellow Chilli does a great job at combining traditional flavours with local tastes, making it a go-to choice for foodies from varied backgrounds.
Presentation: The dishes capture the very essence of North Indian food, which is a burst of bright colours! As important as the taste, is how vivacious Indian food and the hearty curries look when served on our table. Using traditional clay pots and colourful seasoning, the presentation is worth capturing.
The flavours left an unending splotch in the periphery of our taste buds. This new Palm location for The Yellow Chilli is situated on the Golden Mile, next to the jogging track and there’s plenty of parking available.
The waiters were courteous, patient and helpful. The service timing was well spaced out and the table was never empty.

An exquisite and lovely end to the beauty engagement of food and hospitality. This place has marked a special place in the list of restaurants where we would love to visit again. If you have not been here then you are certainly missing out on some real stuff.

It been wonderful experience to have the pakoda. The onion pakoda was just delicious in taste. Must try this in dubai! It been nice to have the Indian food in foreign countries

We went here for dinner and reached around 10 pm. Since the restaurant timing is till 11pm, there was so much rush from the staff so that we could just leave. The food was average and there are lot of other restaurants in JLT serving better food like Via Delhi etc.
The staff was after our life to finish food and leave.
I have been there few times before this, so I can clearly say that the food taste is not as good as it used to be.

Don’t order, eat in instead! Excellent food, presentation, freshness and excellent service. Very happy to have this indian restaurant in the neighborhood and definitely coming back!

Feel this place is overrated

1. Too salty and lot of masala so that taste of food itself is lost

2. Lots and lots of oil. Even though I am from India, it is high for my comfort

Have seen smaller places (less expensive as well) deliver much better quality

Behind the name celebrity chef too expensive food which is not tasty at all. JLT branch. No taste, too much salty, masala is below average, rather some street food cafeteria’s provides best food

I have never seen such a dirty restaurent in my life. Me and my brother fo their today we have 2 vouchers each voucher 50 aed so total 100 aed They Not allow to sit together and eat.they told us for using vouchers can't sit together. So my brother sit 2 table after from me. Then they says all food not included this vouchers. Then i sgow the voucher terms and conditions then they understand. This is Not Good Not Good Not Good. So I am very upset today because of this Restaurant people. They. Not allow me and my brother Eat together. Not only the Stomach Mind also need to full

Traditional Indian food served the fancy way.
We loved the complimentary snack. It was something like pani crisps with green chilli dipping and tamarinf dipping. Super dilicious.
Butter Chicken was ok, nothing special, we've even had better butter chicken in way more affordable restaurants, but not bad either.
The (Khumb Matar Pyaz: Mushroom and Green Peas) Curry was beyond amazing. This is by far the best Indian dish I had ever tried
Staff were very helpful and responsive.
Ambience is cozy relaxing. The place is perfectly clean.
Prices are not the best part, but its worth it for a fancy Indian meal every now and then.

Called up 48hrs ago Yellow Chillis JLT for booking and Menu details, the so called unprofessional educated duty in charge took my contact number and promised to call back. NO CALL TILL NOW. STILL BUSY WITH IFTAR FULL HOUSE.

If you’re looking Best desi Indian food than the yellow chilli will always be my first choice. I’ve been to their restaurant before in Burjuman Mall & that time i love the food a lot.
So now we decided to order from their other branch & the best thing is that the taste was same. As tasty as before.
I want to visit them again and again. I really love the food and taste.
I wish i can give them 10 Star ratings.

Growing up I looked forward to one cooking show every day, it was called Khana Khazana. The chef on this show, @SanjeevKapoor made me feel like magic can be created from various ingredients & herbs. Just the way he would charmingly throw together everything and so simply, voila, he churned out the most glorious dishes!
Idolizing this chef all my life it was an honour when his restaurant @yellowchillyuae chose to send me some food to review. But also worried and hoping the food lived up to the hype I had in my head, well, it more than exceeded my expectations.
It was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a while. Sometimes Indian food can be too oily, too rich or too spicy. Not this one.
We had a top quality restaurant style meal delivered to us, packed beautifully. Took us an hour to unpack the food.
About the food, simple ingredients, subtly spiced and the flavours bold and strong! An absolutely delightful meal where we relished every bite.
The Spread -
Baked Amritsari Fish – A famous north Indian dish, Soft, melt in the mouth pieces of marinated fish with Amritsari spices baked to perfection. Absolute must try for all sea food lovers.

Makhanwalla Paneer - We’ve all had this dish in every Indian restaurant but to get the sauce right is an art and these guys have nailed it. Soft delicate pieces of paneer in a beautiful makhanwalla sauce, slightly tangy and mildly sweet, just perfection with hot parathas and tandoori roti’s.

Veg Tarkari biryani – To my surprise, their biryani was not too oily with the perfect blends of spices and flavours, absolutely delicious, just the way I like my food.

Gaajar Ka Halwa - What stole the show for me was their Gaajar ka Halwa, all I shall say is there are two Gaajar ka halwa’s I love now, one which my mother makes and the other what I was served today. Indeed one of the best Gaajar ka halwas I’ve had.

An gorgeous meal where they are true to their tag line ‘redefining Indian cuisine’ and so they did. A must try place for all Indian Food Lovers!

Food In yellow chilli used be good once upon a time. We had dine in yesterday on yellow chilli. It was a shear waste of money because neither starter was good nor gravy. Only Ok was paratha.

It's not about paying money, but it shud worth.

We have been there thinking that cook's in Chef Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant will be extremely good.

Very Disappointed with good. Probably would not like to visit again.

Food was excellent, service excellent, and the place is situated in a nice private corner not busy with passersby. Try the paratha/roti with the black daal dish. Simply delightful.

Using low quality oil in food preparation, like many Indian restaurants. Must ban use of low grade vegetable oils. Not worth for the rates.

Perfect place for delicious Indian food. Particularly like the Lalla Mussa Dal and Dilliwala Butter Chicken!

With some good and average experiences previously from this place we loved to ordered from here number of times. However now we can’t say the same as it’s from 5* service to negative star service.
Initially we ordered Masala Chaap with tandoori roti & its taste was really horrible. Fully spicy with onion, tomato & capsicum gravy with couple of small chaap pieces. Really surprised with the taste and shared the feedback with restaurant and restaurant manager Mr. Hidayath he was really very nice guy who apologize for the experience and requested to give them a another try and offered one of their best dishes.
So this time we tried Chicken Tikka masala & tandoori Roti. Seriously we tried yellow chili different branches and specially ordered number of times from here but now their quality is really went down and its below average.
Chicken Tikka Masala: Chicken Nowhere gave the taste of tikka and gravy full of spicy (Same which we received yesterday with Chaap order). Though being Indian we are having high spicy food, but it was more than that & hard to eat it.

So basic thing if you are not giving the option to select how spicy they want then better it should be average spicy. And spicy doesn’t mean that it can make your dish more taster.
Seriously nowhere near to standards which yellow chili previously were following.
For sure will not going to try anything and don’t want to waste money.

Yellow chilli is one of my favorite joint for indian cuisine. They are serving some brilliant biriyanis, curries & grills. My all time favorite dishes from yellow chilli are butter chicken & hyderabadi dum gosht biriyani. They serve the best butter chicken in town undoubtedly. I love to have it with their hot garlic naan & tandoori chicken. My another favorite from yellow chilli is their hyderabadi dum gosht biriyani. Its aromatic & always bursting with flavors.

When you put Sanjeev kapoor's name in the name of the restaurant then you automatically expect a lot from this place.
They meet up the expectations and the food is pretty good. It is slightly expensive that's why I tend to go there pretty less. Else i would love to go there more often and try different options.

Finger-licking good food, fabulous location, prompt service, competitive pricing - highly recommended!

We tried Afghani fish tikka, green chilli chicken and kadai macchi with breads. Food quality was really good. Only thing it was not spicy as expected. Its a small restaurant with around 6 tables alone. Outdoor seating is available as well. No handwash/washroom available, just wet wipes for handwash

The usual go to place for good Indian food. A little on pricy side, but the entertainer app comes in handy at this place.

Need some work inside the restaurant, though outside view is great, inside is dull and needs improvement.

Went two times but the experience was not good both the time as the taste was not proper. Service below average. Outside ambience is having view of lake.

I was very disappointed by the food served by yellow chilly. I ordered saam savera their signature dish and makhanwala paneer through zomato.it was not at all good. Too much gravy and good in taste. I always appreciated the dishes from yellow chilly a lot. I always used to tell to my family n friends that nothing can beat it's taste. But yesterday I ordered for my friends but it was disgusting.
No one will say that these dishes are from yellow chilly.
