Oh man, if you're looking for musical instruments, this is THE place to go to in Dubai!

This is a real music shop where you can actually TRY and COMPARE instruments before making your choice! Sales people were patient and helpful.

They also have lessons in there and books, I think they're a pretty complete shop. You can buy your instrument and book your lessons to get started if you want.

Back to us.we're looking for an electronic piano from yamaha. We live in a flat so controlling the sound and having the possibility to use a headset was a key factor.

We we're in between 2 models and we were actually able to play in both. Shopping experience was great too! Delivery was made in about 24h. The technicians from yamaha that came to install the piano were actually competent and knew what they were doing.

*This is an important point here in the UAE as very often you have clueless people doing some work for you.

Yesterday I visited the show room, there is proper welcome or response from manager, he watching like the customers like strange people, felt very bad, atleast store boy received and explained properly. Instruments are good.

I enjoy coming to this store whenever I wanted to look for instruments or just plain window shopping for musical items. The staff is accommodating and very knowledgeable on each products! Not crowded and there varieties of products to check! You can also try the instruments to check their quality. Located at Ibn Battuta Mall near China Court!

HORRIBLE AFTER SALES SUPPORT

I have purchased a bass amplifier from M4Music and sent it back for checking because every time I use it there is a crackling sound even at the lowest volume setting.

I brought it to their Ibn Battuta branch and upon checking there is a cable from the inside that is making contact with the speaker, causing the crackling sound and so I left the amplifier there for repair.

After a few days, I was told that my amplifier is like this because of wear and tear. A TOTAL TWISTING AND TURNING of what I was told and I know that the amplifier was used rarely and on mostly I use a headset.

I'm surprised with this business practice! If you can, find somewhere else to buy your music equipment.

Has a decent collection of musical instruments. Customer service was great for me as they were eager to help me out. Didn't actually buy anything but was impressed with the time spent with me to help me decide. I was never pushed to make a sale which was excellent.

Got my Yamaha Acoustic F310 from here, Good collection for most of the instruments, competitive prices, decent ambience and you can sit and try multiple guitars without any disturbance.
But customer service is poor, staff is rude, not very encouraging and doesn't pay attention to your concerns.

Don't expect any help from the staff, otherwise store is fine.

It's a hands-on kinda store.which is what you want in a music store. Fender, Gretsch, Yamaha, Jackson, EVH.and loads of accessories, too.sound and studio gear, pianos, drums, wind instruments.

A very comprehensive music supplies store! Love the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff.

The guys took great care of me and I really appreciate the time they spent putting together a full package for what my son will need to get started on the drums. I also picked up a brand new Yamaha piano and with both the drums and piano they gave me a very competitive price. All in all, the service was great and the prices were excellent. I'll definitely be going back to them.

Our favourite store for musical instruments. We have always found what we were looking for and have made a number of purchases. Friendly knowledgeable staff that helps in making an informed decision.

Very unfriendly staff. I’m a music enthusiast and can easily spend an hour or two in shops just appreciating and trying out the variety of instruments. It’s great that this shop falls under that description of being instrumentally abundant, however today I was technically banished away from the shop when I was looking around the percussion section by an employee that failed to give me a valid reason why. It’s a colossal shame that a shop this great has such underwhelming, unenthusiastic and rude staff. Will sadly not be a patron here anymore

This place has really gotten a lot worse over the years. My family and I have shopped in Thomsun for more than 10 years. I recently went for a casual visit and found that not only had the quality of stock has reduced, but the staff know nothing about their instruments. They still hold a large number of items. It just seems as though they focus on entry level musical instruments. For example, I was looking for a new guitar amplifier and despite the relatively large size of the shop, they only had 1 small tube guitar amplifier. Even their guitars, pianos, pedals, etc.are all targeted for the entry-level consumer.

The staff were really disappointing. They didnt know the names of any of the guitar/amp models that they supposedly stocked on their website. All they could ask me was for the serial number so they could look it up. Lousy experience to be honest.
