Tom Yum Thai Restaurant

I can't believe im about to say this, but the food we tasted here was better then what we ate in Thailand. We sampled street food to upscale restaurants, this average looking Food court shop blew us away. We had the Green Curry, Satay Chicken and Basi Leaf Curry. Absolutely delicious. The Chef is a master (we asked, he's from Thailand, so flavour is authentic).

We are regular at this spot. After the closure of Bhan Kun Mae, this place was our go-to. But today, (late April 2023) we were disappointed. All the food we ordered were blah. The beef kra pao was soggy, watery, unlike the one it uses to be - crunchy basil, dry fried beef with crispy sunny side up. Panang Curry was just mediocre and the Pad Thai was tasteless. The Thai lady chef was nowhere in sight, even the girl at the counter was different. Looks like we will not take that drive to Dragon Mart for lunch anymore

Well, not the best you can find. But if you are hungry, I would say better than others in the mall

The place looks nice and clean despite being in a food court area.

We ordered a lemon grass drink, followed by chicken Pad Thai, Panang curry, and dynamite shrimp.

The lemongrass cooler was a massive disappointment, tasted like flavored water which was a big let down, and for 15aed each, big hit and miss. Even the picture does not correspond to the actual drink.

Pad Thai, is resembled by look but not in taste. Noodles are not for Pad Thai and there was an overload of tamarind sauce to make you feel like you are eating Thai food. Eggs were overpowering the dish and the chicken in it was no different.

Now Penang curry. Overload of rice and small of curry. This was by far the biggest disappointment. No flavor at all. There was no sweat-tangy flavor I use to have in Thailand, few days back, and it repealed me of ever coming back here to eat, and unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this place if you want to eat Thai food.

The only save in grace was two ladies working there, other than that

It is one of the best Authentic thai food in dubai. The name itself says it all. Their Tom Yum is splendid and exquisitely superb.

I find thai food every where I travel.this is one of the best ones

Squid was not cleaned properly and had the inner skin on.it s not pleasant to have to remove yourself.
