Scammers. They try to replace my water heater when the issue was just a small electrical issue. After I turned on my fuse it’s now perfectly working. Stay away from these dishonest people.

Had an issue with the circuit breakers Toolboys technicians were able to determine the cause. I was impressed with their professionalism and skills. Many thanks to Mr Tariq for his great effort to solve the issue in a short period of time.

Don't know what they are doing. They arrived charged me 150 AED for the visit and suggested we needed to replace the main breaker at a cost of 3,000 AED, fortunately my electrician turned up and resolved the issue, and it turns out the circuit breaker was fine. They said they would give me a refund but after never responded.

Had a pleasant and professional experience with Mr. Tariq, he was quick to resolve my issue on a last minute call before i had guests that night. Would highly recommend them.

We had our Ariston hot water tank break down and we had poor experience with our regular plumbing service company, & we came to know about them on youtube, So we called Toolboys. Their team was able to schedule something for the next day. Awais was right on time, super friendly and tidy with his work. The Plumbing job took longer than anticipated, but he was very nice and professional—I’d honestly hope to have him come back for water heater or any other future work! They not only for money they respect your time & take care of your home like a professional.

It’s just scam! They asked for 1300 aed to repair a leak in the garden… I get it done for only 300aed by another reputable maintenance company… they are unreliable, if you have to use them check prices online or get another quote! C

Interesting experience and a mix of very good to pretty poor.

So let’s start with the pros:

1) They turn up on time and react quickly.
2) The electrician was superb and would use him again.
3) Standard of work was good for the most part though one of the taps they fitted ended up leaking a day later and they then tried to charge me for it.

The cons:

1) Quite pushy about getting extra work and buying their own equipment (taps etc). I get they have their targets but it was quite full on.
2) If you want to use these guys you need to haggle. I know this is Dubai but when you are in a rush you need transparency on costs it becomes frustrating. Example - the price for part of my work went from 2,800 down to 1,350 and back up to 2,100 AED in the space of 5 hours or so. I am still confused which prompted me to write this. In essence, I got the feeling that if you are a naive customer they would take advantage and that makes me feel uncomfortable.

The acid test - Would I use them again? Honestly probably not. Except for the electrician - he was awesome.

First experience was ok even if I have to tell the team how to make their own job.
Second experience, charged 100 aed instead of 150 aed for just visiting and give quotation.
Quotation was very over price (2x normal price I received from competitors), easy business to charge call out and visit and offer non acceptable price, very disapointed by the behaviour.
Also, invoices (when provided.) doesn't even show the VAT, can't use it.

I contacted Toolboys for water leakage Repair today. My initial impression was they were too busy - But Shadab was on time, friendly, professional and gave me a fair estimate for the job. I had two other estimates but decided to use this company. I had a water leak from ceiling the check & stop the water first & later confirm how much time to repair ceiling again & schedule appointment. My ceiling is repair & fair price specially with best quality material.their plumber is very knowledgable & explain thing clearly. They are very transparent in work & will definitely use them again.

They responded quickly with a quote for our Electrical Work in Dubai Marina, booked the time to do the work, was here when he said he would be here- Very Punctual. The jobs were completed in a timely manner and the quote was essentially what we paid. The only additions were options that I didn’t think about that were suggested on site. So happy that Shadab and his Electrician team took the time to think about what we were trying to accomplish in the work and made great suggestions that made a lot of sense. I recently had my electrical panel upgraded and a mix of other work done by Toolboys Electrician and couldn't be more pleased with the service. All of the costs were explained to me in detail before hand, the prices were fair, and there were no surprises. Tariq and his team were all great to work with, and overall they did an outstanding job. They were experienced, friendly, and always made sure to clean up their work area when they were done. I will definitely be using Toolboys electrician service in Dubai for future improvements.

I called Toolboys at late at night for a broken Water Heater. Reliance was able to accommodate me the following morning, 8am. Jason was amazing from the start. He called to say what time team will be arriving. The service that Toolboys gave us was the best that my dad and I have ever had. Jason was professional throughout, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the issues with the water heater. They replaced the water heater tank within minutes safely and carefully. We are very thankful for Toolboys service and for Jason a customer service representatives who were all very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions

On calling them they did not mention how much their fallout fee is. When I decided not to use their services their attitude just completely changed and were not professional at all. They just talk without listening to what the customer is saying. They also did not have a receipt with them. After paying when I requested a receipt then their attitude went further south. As customers we do have a choice of using a service provider or not, and I just needed a receipt for the call-out.

I would give zero star if possible. I wanted to change my switches with smart switches. They didn’t know and they don’t say we don’t know. Eventually installed everything wrong. Now my light are blinking day & night. Now I have to get someone really knows how to do this.

Want my advice? Spend more money and find a really professional people to give you a piece of mind

The team visited me for 5 minutes because of a water leakage in my bathroom. I told them i was in a hurry to get things fixed because i use the bathroom to bathe my kids, so they send me a quote for 4,500 aed. Turns out the problem was a loose hose which i got another technician to fix for 200 aed and he left with a big smile on his face. The team had the audacity to charge me 150 aed (which they claim they told me about but they did not) simply for visiting me. The service is absolutely horrible and you really should look elsewhere for handyman services.

Second time I called Toolboys, this time to fix a furniture. As usual Tariq responded very quickly. Thank you!

Under the supervision of Mr. Tariq a team of professional workers were busy around the villa, changing a solid wooden table from a 8 seater to a 6 seater while others dismantled and removed a gazebo. I highly recommend this company for any job - big or small - in and around your home!

We were under impressioned that our clog toilet issue has been resolved but not at all, they had to come for 2nd time and still the issue has not been resolveand for the third time they want to charge us for clog removal machine and labor as their excuse that they had done their part. If you are professional plumber you would know exactly the issue but they dont at all. At first they want to charge us for 1500AED just for putting chemical/dismantle and reinstall the toilet but it went down to 500 which still pricy just to put chemical on clog. If you dont want to experience the same issue just avoid to call them relating to toilet clog.

Last week, I made an appointment with their company to repair the wet wall part. Before the repair, they said that there is no warranty period, but it can be maintained for more than 1-2 months. However, on the 4th day after the repair, the repaired wall part began to become The color of the damp, cracked and repaired wall part is very different from the actual wall part. 《The below following picture is the state of the wall 4 days after repair》
Then I called them and sent them a message, but they didn't know how to maintain customer relationships. They had poor service and attitude. After they received the money, they didn't have any sense of responsibility.
The existence of such a company is simply a waste of resources and deceive customers.
I hope that relevant departments can better screen qualified companies.

We ask toolboys to repair our toilet, evaluated the situation and gave quote. Ordered part, returned on the day and time he said he would. They did is very precisely & suggest us DO's & Don'ts for taking care. I would use Toolboys for any repair work we have in the future and strongly recommend all of my friends & Family. Try to find a repair person who will come to your home and charge you Reasonably is really blessing in Dubai

Contacted them via whatsapp, the "supervisor" will call you back with a quotation. We had 3 other quotations of 150-200 dhs from other companies. But the supervisor tried to scalp us by asking for 350 dhs. After telling him that I will just use another company, he suddenly wanted to drop the price. Dishonest.

Wow. After trying a few other maintenance companies and getting frustrated with how slow and unresponsive they were by some miracle we found Tool Boys. One call and within an hour - that’s 60 MINUTES - Tariq and his team showed up and did an amazing job in superhuman time. Transparent and kept me up to date throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend Tariq and his Tool Boys team enough! I now have them on speed dial for future jobs. And with a creatively destructive 5 year old and a clumsy dog, there definitely will be future jobs.

Highly unreliable team. I have called the company to fix my AC in springs villa. I have been misguided saying that my AC compressor is damaged and has to be changed that will cost AED 2000. However I had doubt and I got it checked with other company. The real problem was the AC has was low. The other company refilled the gas and ac is working fine and I paid AED 350. I will never ever use this company nor recommend anyone.

The workers don’t speak any English. It’s impossible to communicate with them! The manager (who speaks English and communicate with me) ask them to put extreme toxic oil based paint in my living room and told me the smell’s gonna go away in a week. Only after 10mins I started to have huge headache and my friend started coughing. I complain to the manager and he said the paint is very dangerous and only for out door use. But they still did it for me Anyways don’t go for this toolboy. Very bad tool boys. They might murder you.

Toolboys stepped in to help us with the tiling of our bathroom at short notice. From the outset they have been professional and thorough. I called them to fix a clicked drain in my kitchen. They came an hour later with some acid, pored it in the drain and said that's it, it's fixed. They charged me 200 AED. The drain was full again immediately after they left and they had to come again the next day.they said that it will take time and more money to fix so i told them to give me my money back. They returned the money and now i have to find someone else to fix it.
