Urban Tadka Restaurant - Karama

Pani puri experience and jini dosa were amazing. We also had samosa chaat, raj kachori and mirchi bhajia which all tasted great.

I used to love the pani puri, sev puri and vada pav from here. But a couple of months ago ordered through Noon food they sent stale water. It smelled really bad and tasted spoiled. Upon informing on WhatsApp- no answer from the restaurant pathetic… also upon requesting them for ordering second time few days later I asked if they have fresh available today and not like last time stale stuff, they didn’t bother to address the query- have been a customer for years and now its sad realizing they have lost both their taste and customer service. I tried sorting this out on WhatsApp but couldn’t…. So here’s the review for public…Please guys there are many options in karama for chaat- never picking this spot again! Unapologetic people!

Food was ok…
But there is some cleanness issues on the restaurant…wash area is not good and need to clean ….
Also some bad smell from restaurant …
I found one cockroach on table while Iam dining ….

If you want to get some taste of Indian street food, this is the place. I like the taste of Raj kachori and aloo Tikki chhole.

Ordered Pani puri, Sev puri, samosa pav and Vadapav.

All three were yummm and tasted great except pani puri. At last I tried golgappa it was great mouth watering chaat.

Hygiene is maintained. There is outdoor and indoor seating available.

Good place for north indian style dishes. Samosa, sweets and similar other lot of fast food varieties with great taste. Pani puri lovers can visit this place.

Great selection of dishes and amazing taste of all dishes. They also serve different varieties of pizzas which are not mentioned on the menu but are delicious. A very good restaurant and can be visited regularly as well.

Very lazy staff, need to follow-up for each orders. Without owners presence they are least bother to give service. Has to wait untill they will not come to your table and take the order. This is not happed for one time.

I had worst experience today. I heard about panipuri was nice. So i want to try and we go for a try. But the customer service was so bad. We want to have pani puri on table.but the guy told us to have and get in a line. I told him we just want 2 plate pani puri so he bring the pani puri after that. All the puris was broken. The water in the cup was all spill. And gave us ragada only. When i ask him u will not serve aloo with pani puri he told me u need to ask for it. He should ask to customer what we want ragada or aloo or other. Its his duty. The worst experience i had in this restaurant. Even this only 2 plates of pani puri but still we are paying for it. I worked as restaurant staff too so i know how imporatant is customer service and how they are dealing with customer.

Love their Pani puri, masala puri, paav baaji.all kind of chaats! I think they serve the best chaats in Dubai (among small restaurants)

Dishes were super tasty. Pretty expensive.
Seating capacity is very less. No babyChair available. Service is unpleasant.

Visited the restaurant in search of paranthas. Really love the Paneer and aaloo parantha, they served it with curd and pickle. They have indoor as well outdoor sitting. Gajar halwa was also good. So if you wanna have some good Indian food and not be expensive, try it once.

Very bad service.staff is very rude yesterday I went to lunch I ask the guy do u have dosa he direct said madam it will tak long time better u order chat it's dependson staff what to oder an what not.very unprofessional staffs special in karama branch.its a request to the owner better u chang ur staff or tech then how to behave wit costumers.

Good taste. But some dishes could be more tastier. Work on your masala chai.last time chai was not that good.

Raj Kachori chat looks and tastes delicious. Didn't like Ragda pattice, had much better pattice elsewhere. Samosa sometimes tastes absolutely delicious some other time tastes very ok'ish - depends on your luck.

Overall a mixed experience

The.stuffed Mirchi Vadda is mind-blowing.the overall food is up to the mark.the pricing seems a little on the higher side.but guess thats bcos the food quality is good.

Nice place for vegetarian people. You can try chat items at chat corner. Also they serve good North and south Indian food. Zomato pro doesn't work over here that's the only negative thing I would like to point out. Other than that everything is really good.

They are our favorite and our weekly go to spot always for dining or delivery either Burdubai or Discovery Gardens! Especially dont miss to try their Tandoor platter with all varieties of vegetables and patties inside! Can't complain a bit their chaat, tea and all dishes served! Srikanth's service is so good!

Taste is awesome! Biryani's are so authentic and taste cant beat any restaurants but highly spicy, so tell them your level of spice required!

Nice chaat. But chinese bhel is not as per expectation. They must learn Chinese bhel from Vaibhav restaurant Mena Bazar.

Very soggy bhajiya and sabudana vada.food made earlier just microwave and give to you.the one in discovery garden is better.at least their food is fresh.

I have ordered today there Kachoris and told them that I will personally pick up from there places told the I need fresh one a and hot which they assured it will be ready after I reached it wa big disappointment manager was not even bothered what I am telling and told that we don’t make kachori hot we make one time in day which gets served to customer whole day

Expensive for the amount they serve. If you want to pay for the worst street food, this is your place. Just went in there because of the ambience. Well, sometimes your eyes can mislead you 1 star because of the good ambience

Excellent place for lip smacking chaat and definitely their cuisines does justice for your mouth watering temptation to eat typical street chaat, especially I loved the punjabi samosas! Nailed it.nice place to have nice evening snack.

Pure vegetarian restaurant with good Punjabi food. Staff is good and friendly and the food is good. They have variety of dishes to offer. They also have Chinese food available like Manchurians aling with tandoori items. Service is good.

Moreover in my last order same was requested and extra onion was not delivered.
Unfortunately this time due to the behavior of your staff I had to cancel the order

If u wish to have some finger licking punjabi food, goto urban tadka. Best quality and best quantity food.

I was big fan of urban tadka but recently experience the quality is not great.ealier the vada Pav was awesome but now the pav is really hard to chew, also the ragda in pani puri is just boiled stuff with no masala, puri also not fresh.
Today ordered mix bhajiya, the quality & quantity is not as charged aed 14.quite depressing

Excellent food, in the middle of Karama. Close to parking. Love their chat and Kulfi items. We tried Madka Kulfi and Pista. It was yum. May be the place will benefit from a bit of makeover

Good food. Good variety of options available.
First, We had Manchow Soup and we loved it.
Then while placing an order we asked to the staff - what's the speciality of Urban Tadka? He said go with Triple Szechuan Fried Rice - we ordered, rice was good but it was very spicy - kids couldn't eat. We also ordered Pizza Dosa and Idli for kids.
Pizza Dosa was really tasty - it's very think like papad, but the quality is good.

Quality wide food is good, service ohk ohk, parking big issue, for space u have to wait always specially on weekends

The food and service has been much talked about. We went to Urban Tadka as part of our Zomato Gold membership. Raj Kachori with Masala Dosa. The food was good. But now after a week of the visit I see that its no more associated with Zomato Gold. So based on that Food 9/10, Service 9/10 and Price 7/10.

Slow and not that friendly staff and just OK food, nothing special. You have many other options in the lower price range as well

Exceptional quality street food with nicest staff in any such joint. Food court range prices and fairly good portions.

A good place for vegetarian food to visit with family. Despite of the space constraints, the restaurant offers delicious food. The best of Paneer Tikka biryani’s I ever had in Dubai.

Pani puri! Best in town. Their chaat is also decent. You know you are in the right place when you have to wait in line for ages on weekend evenings.
Its clean and they are quick to serve. Definitely a spot to try

I pick this spot over the nice seating, air conditioned spots, the various chaats and Pani puri is yum!

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices.but the prices were comparatively High.which should be consider by the management, also there is a parking issue on weekend and evening cause of crowd.
