Sharing my wife's review: Please avoid this place if you wish to have a good experience.
I would not recommend this place at all. It was a terrible experience for my first bridal fitting and I regret going there! The place is small, and the staff is extremely rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. My appointment probably lasted 20 minutes. The lady working there did not try to understand my needs, did not help, did not care! As simple as that! She had no interest in selling me a dress. She did not wish to show me more dresses when I expressed that her first 3 picks were not a good fit at all. She was extremely unpleasant. It was awful, it was depressing. The shop is small and the fitting room is ridiculously small for wedding dresses. The platform is so close to the mirror that you can barely see the dress as you are so close. The dresses were of poor quality compared to what I have seen in other places.

What an awful place, I felt uncomfortable from the moment I stepped into this shop as the staff's lack of interest was toxic!

I visited many salons and when I came to you, from the first step I saw that there was beauty and comfort and very friendly staff And I thought “this is where I will find my dream dress” polite girl consultants.
I especially want to highlight Alita for her patience and hard work I tried on a lot of dresses and couldn’t decide) I wanted to take them all! How beautiful they all were) Alita, thank you very much for your attention and patience. You do your job perfectly very attentive, responsible and very polite!

I went to Dubai for work but my wedding was in Argentina, so I had to find a dress before going back to my country. Thanks God I found this place were Lana helped me through the process, I was encouraged by her to try several styles to find the perfect one and showed me all the accesories I could add, she made me feel like a princess. All of the team helped me and was really patient with me. Everybody was stunned at my wedding with my beautiful dress, it was the perfect complement for a perfect night. Thank you for everything!

I had a great experience with the boutique. They have a great collection of dresses but most importantly an incredible team of ladies will take care of you. Alita was my stylist and she was so incredibly patient with me trying the same dresses 100 times without making a decision. She happily encouraged me to try more stuff and re-try the dresses to make sure I choose something I’m happy about. Tamila and Aiza were great team players, and stepped in multiple times to help and share their thoughts. The alterations were made by Christina in a very timely manner. Honestly the whole team is just fun to work with. I live in AD but I didn’t dread the drive to the store in Dubai multiple times because the team was always fun and welcoming. I can’t recommend them enough

Aiza was great when visiting Vanila to try on dresses. She was very patient, attentive and gave great advice. However, this is where my positive experience with Vanila ended.

I purchased my dress in September 22 and was told that it would arrive by 1st February 23 at the latest. I didn’t hear anything from Vanila after purchasing the dress and 1st February rolled around and still no communication. I called to follow up on where my dress was and was told it was delayed but nobody bothered to contact me to inform me.

Once the dress arrived, I went for my alterations fitting and booked a follow up appointment for almost 1 month later. The night before my dress fitting, I was called late at night to be told that my dress wasn’t ready, and they would have to postpone my appointment to the end of the week. When I questioned why, I was told that the seamstress did not do my dress because they had other tourist brides in town whose dresses they worked on instead of mine because they deemed them to be more important and urgent. This is totally unacceptable as I had booked my appointment a month beforehand and am a paying customer who should have their timelines met whether they are a tourist or not. To be informed so last minute was unacceptable and it meant that I had to attend my final dress fitting alone because my bridesmaid had flown in specifically to attend my fitting with me, and she had to leave by the time of the next appointment.

I also asked them to store my dress for me until closer to my wedding date at the final appointment (which I was told at my previous appointment would be possible) only to be told that they would charge me to store the dress. I cannot understand how hanging the dress on the rack is chargeable. I also had to sign paperwork to confirm my dress was acceptable without having anyone there to check it with me because they changed the appointment.

Finally, after my wedding, I contacted Vanila to ask for a recommendation on a reliable place that I can get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved in Dubai. I was told that they could do it in the store for me, so I took it to Vanila as they know my dress and how it should be cared for. Upon collecting the dress from Vanila, I found out that they outsource the service to Champion Cleaners and it is not done in house at all. I was charged AED 1450 by Vanila for the service and when I called Champion Cleaners they told me that they charge between AED 660-AED 1000 for this service. I feel completely misled by Vanila as I believed that they had an in-house service and they have just made AED 500+ for the exact same service and, had I have known that they would outsource it to Champion Cleaners, I would have taken it directly there myself. Furthermore, when I went to collect my dress, it had not been checked by the store before calling me to say it was ready and my veil was missing. The veil was lost and nobody could be contacted to find out where it was. I was told that they would contact me back urgently to let me know an update, but I have had to follow up continuously. I was finally informed by Whatsapp that it was found (but without an apology) after following up by phone because I hadn't heard anything. I asked them to check the veil and send it to me but it took me following up for 2 more days for them to send it. After losing such a sentimental item and not doing the proper checks for an overly inflated service price, I find it shocking that it wouldn’t be dealt with in an urgent manner. Wedding dresses and accessories are not cheap, and I expected far more from Vanila for the money I paid to them for the dress, veil, alterations and cleaning. I feel that once they had received my payment, the service level dropped drastically to an unacceptable standard and for this I would not recommend Vanila.

I simply love this boutique not only do they have beautiful dresses but they also fixed my dress after I lost weight perfectly. But the best part are the people working there especially Abi who is the sweetest and helped me with everything. Super nice and competent. I will always recommend this place

I couldn’t recommend Vanila enough! All of the staff are so progressional, caring and there is an overall positive energy in the store. I can’t thank Abby enough! She is a total queen, she was so kind, patient, understanding and has given me the best advice throughout. She made my experience so much!

It was my second boutique that i visited and before going i had a feeling that I will find my wedding dress there. And the feeling was true, Aiza helped me find the perfect dress for me, she was so sweet, then she went on vacation so Lana took her place and she was so nice too. Grace did the perfect job for my dress and she is amazing. I totally recommend this place for your wedding dress because the selection they have is amazing!

I bought my dress from there and Margo was the one who was helping me, I never leave a review but she’s amazing and you can tell she knows what she’s doing if it weren’t for her I wouldn’t have even tried the dress. She told me it’s gonna look great on me and it was.

I bought my beautiful wedding gown from Vanila back in January. I had found the dress on Pinterest and quickly booked an appointment at Vanila when I saw they stocked the dress / designer. The service was amazing! So patient and personal. I wanted to visit a few times to try the dress and show my mum / maid of Honour who couldn’t be with me and they were so accommodating, even provided me a stand for my phone so they could see the dress clearly. The rooms are very large, spacious and private so you feel like it’s just you in the shop. Couldn’t recommend the boutique enough! Thank you for making the experience so smooth and exciting!

Vanila wedding boutique definitely deserves the reputation they have. First of all, they have a very big collection of wedding dresses to serve every taste and every wedding theme. Their staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. It's a one-stop shop, you can do everything through them, dresses, alterations, veils, petticoat, accessories and also restoration and cleaning after the big day! I went to many other shops but I found my dream dress there and I am happy to be Vanila Bride

I wouldn’t recommend Vanilla Bridal. I visited the boutique with the bride. We were not even greeted with a smile as we entered the store. There was no conversation to get to know us. We are 6 months out from the wedding and we’re made to feel stressed that there was not enough time.
Attention to detail and explanation of the process to try on a dress was poor.
A beautiful selection of dresses were in store to look at however staff treated them poorly, dragged them on the floor and walked all over them.
The bride was made to feel uncomfortable trying on dresses that were clearly not the right size. There was no effort to use straps to hold the dress together to see how they would fit in the right size.
There is enough pressure in the lead up to finding the perfect dress and being there to support the bride to find a dress that she feels beautiful in. Staff need further training in customer service and friendly interactions. I am thankful that this wasn’t the first place we went to, others are far more attentive and supportive of finding the right dress for the bride.
Unless there is a particular dress you are looking for in Vanilla Bridal, don’t bother.

A beautiful Bridal boutique located in JLT. This was the first store I visited when wedding dress shopping, I thought I’d be the kind of bride to try on several dresses before making my decision however, I immediately fell in love and bought the first dress I tried on.
The selection is lovely, they really have something for every Bride! The staff are amazing! Massive shoutout to lovely stylist Erica and the seamstress Maria! Both ladies looked after me so well and really did their utmost to cater to my alternation needs and made sure the fit was perfect just how I envisioned!
Can’t recommend them enough!

Destroyed a AED10k dress. Do not pay up-front. They do not have competent tailors and will mess up your dress. Constantly changing staff so your measurements will likely be lost and then they will try to blame you. They make you sign a contract when leaving with the dress so you can't come back after you bring it to a real tailor. My wife brought the dress to another tailor and they showed her how the person they used did not know what they were doing. Take the dress to someone who is can actually do the tailoring if you want to buy it from them. Very unprofessional

Loved the experience at Vanila! Petra is a superstar! She made trying on dresses very fun, easy, and comfortable. This is not a task anyone can do, as it can be a little overwhelming to deal with many dresses, and try on a few. But with Petra, I did it - while having a good time!

Visited during Eid holidays as I live in Oman. Viktoria served me and noted styles that I said I liked, but also suggested others just to check different necklines as everything looks different on. They had an amazing range of dresses - some very similar which is good if you liked parts of one but not all. After the initial selection, Vikotoria went out to select some others to help me hone down the styles that I wanted.

I didn't buy anything as I visited alone on this occasion, but nothing seemed too much effort for her; she was very active in trying to find me the right dress and also provided opinions on which styles she thought suited me more.

I have entered few shops to look for a wedding dress. This shop was the first I entered, staff were so welcoming, my stylist viktoriya was sweet and so helpful and the dresses were so elegant exposed in a lovely and neat way. U would want to choose all but u only have to see what suits ur body and style the most and choose one:) After my visit to them, i decided to see other shops as I thought it is not logic to buy the first dress I loved in the first shop I visited.but again I went running back as my heart fell in love with my dress, staff and shop. I would highly recommend for any bride to be.
