We went here for breakfast. Super fast service and super delicious food. Highly recommend Ghee Masala Dosa, Onion Uttapam and Filter coffee!

The food quality is top notch, no complaints, ever.
The service could be improved as the staff is less at rush time and also the number of tables should be increased.
The cost is very competitive as compared to other restaurants in Karama that offer a similar menu

We ordered Mini tiffin and dosa here. Its yummy. Kids loved it. Pongal was tasty. And had a nice filter coffee after long time. Best coffee for coffee lovers. Very kind and well trained staff.

We ordered paneer manchurian. It was served with a pool of oil. No one is ready to answer us. Tea was total waste. Very poor service and it all happened in karama branch

Excellent place for South Indian especially Tamil Nadu style vegetarian food. Right from their Thali to Idli, you can taste authenticity

Average taste of Sambhar, in a super small bowl, 1 spoon of 3 types of chutney in your plate, floating around. No staff around to ask u anything else. When asked 1 staff for extra Sambhar, he went missing for 10 minutes and never came back. Had to ask someone to come and take payment also and this is when not all their tables were occupied.

Hi Guys, Went to this place with my colleague after a client meeting. It was late for lunch so thought of some food which will not be very heavy on empty stomach.
+ Aurhentic vegetarian, almost homelike food.
+ Not very spicy or oily so good on stomach. Even though we had good quantity, we din't feel bloated or heavy.
+ You can have mini meal for aed 16 or add aed 2, then for aed 18 you get unlimited full meal. Best option, to eat as much you need.
+ Very helpful staff.
+ Ample RTA parking around.
Not giving 5 stars as we expect Vasanat Bhavan to surprise us with some thing new some day.

Worst own delivery. Delivery they took more than one hour. If we call them no proper response. Simply they telling cancel the order. Worst worst service

One of the best South Indian vegetarian restaurant in UAE. This is one of their branch in Al Karama - Dubai. They famous for their authentic south Indian dishes.they serve breakfast, lunch evening snacks and dinner.dishes like meduvada, parupu vada, keera vada, Aloo Bonda, idly, poori, dosa, parotta, pondal, kissadi, idiyappam, sweet paniyarum, set dosa, masala dosa, rava dosa, ragi dosa, millet chappathi, gobi masala dosa, mushroom lappa, veg makkan wala, appam, kadala curry, mushroom masala, veechu parota, panneer tikka masala, kulipaniyarum, adai avial, etc.they have dine-in, takeaway, delivery available.they have only dine in available inside the restaurant.no family dine in available.big disappointment in this restaurant chain. Mostly the dine in area is not enough.waiting time for this restaurant dine in is around minimum 15min. The staff are good and friendly.the food are very tasty and good quality. The price are high compared with other south Indian restaurant.hand wash and the restroom available. Need to improve the dine in area.they dont have kid friendly menu.the ambiance need it improve.they need to consider adjecting the pricing of the food.must try restaurant. Parking is near by but very small public parking.in the peak hours need to search for the car parking.the opening time is from 7: 30 in the morning to 3: 30 till lunch.then 5: 30 in the evening till 11: 30 till the dinner.

Neat and clean. I prefer their meals over the other dishes they have. And prefer to dine in rather than delivery or takeout.

Very slow and pathetic service.once you enter they make you wait 5 to 10 minutes.then come and say food is not ready yet.very less staff.manager is waiter and cashier.dubai municipality should look into this serious violations.

Please avoid this place. Staffs are not interested to serve you, food is cold and you will not enjoy the time. Their Gardens branch is the best.

Its one of our favorite restaurant for yummy breakfast. Like the freshness of the food and the cleanliness.

When we entered the restaurant not a single staff member was visible. Nobody at the counter and no service staff around. Hardly a welcoming experience.
After some time one attendant came and left a menu on our table and disappeared. After waiting for some more time, finally managed to get the attention of one wait staff. Asked him what is available - he said only thali. Then why leave the menu on the table? Could have informed us earlier itself.
Anyways didn't stay after that - that experience was sufficient

Visited this place twice but never got hot food anytime. After complaining during the 2nd visit got a free hot coffee.

A nice place to have your South Indian delicacies. Came here for dinner to have breakfast. They had it all ready and it was tasty and easy on my wallet as well.

Next time will try to come for breakfast in the morning.

Horrible at service, only visit the place for their sambhar. I don't understand why the restaurant cannot spend in increasing service and kitchen staff. Even at morning 8, idli and vada are not ready and hv to wait 30 min just to get our food and another 30 min to get coffee. And this has happened in multiple instance. I might not be coming any more to this branch, Al nahda is still better.

Good for breakfast and Dinner. They don't have a vast menu but good in quality and price. I haven't tried lunch

Got meals delivery, ordered through zomato.taste very nice. Quantity is sufficient. Reasonable rates. Overall very good. Couldn't visit the restaurant. But got delivery few times, prompt and timely service.

The food is really tasty and service is super fast. I didn't even wait much for the dosa and they are delicious. Will be coming back again

Hygienic, friendly staff and consistent great tasting food. Enjoyed the breakfast today - mini Tiffin, poori and masala dosa with an excellent combination of chutneys. Also very good filter coffee. Definitely recommended.

Great place to eat if you need good South Indian budget food. Dosas and Meduwada I had was very satisfying.

Located on other side of Karama (post office side).
Moment you see the dosa, you just dive in. And always forget to take pictures.

Each of its branches stand out to bring out their speciality. My visit to their karama branch would urge me to visit them again for their Rava dosa without oil and slightly crispy. The chutneys served along are definitely tasty and much better than most similar kinds of restaurants from the southern part of India.
If you are from southern states of India or familiar with the filter coffee concept, it's a must have. Overall, a nice experience and light on your pockets.

Went 0730am for breakfast. We were the only ones there. Ordered mini tiffin. Service was quick and each item on plate was delicious. Special mention for filter coffee. Filling meal for the price

Literally this is restaurant is the only place where I found Vadacurry in Dubai served on Thur-Saturdays. Since I’m from South India feel home whenever we visit Vasanta bhavan as we find more tamil families visiting. Very polite staff and price of the dishes on menu are very pocket friendly. Must try dish is kuli paniyaram and onion chutney

If you know what Vasanta bhavan legacy is all about, you dont need a review. Classic south indian vegetarian fare at very reasonable prices. Parking is the only woe though

A South Indian vegetarian restaurant in that part of karama, where you can get a parking, the food is good, not spicey, thali is also adequate and cheap. The items are moderately priced. Try their idli and Vada with chutney, it's good. Filter Coffee is ok but not great. The place is clean too and there is home delivery too. Friday morning is crowded.

Eponymous tamil restaurant. Typical seating arrangements. No fancy wares. Service is fluctuating in standard.
I have taken sadya thali for onam and medu vada on other days. Both were good. Price is medium level. Medu vada at 8 dhs is just about okay. Excellent taste. Size is medium and slightly crunchy. Nice coconut sauces, 3 types.

Restaurant usually forgets about order and you have to follow up several times to get your order,
I ordered Vada and poori aloo masala, after 1 hour 20 mins I had to call and ask the restaurant about order, they conveniently forgot about your order.
Do not, I repeat do not order from this restaurant ever.

Never ask for door delivery from this restaurant. Either they forget to prepare the order or there deliver takes minimum 1 hour place just for a curd rice too. Inspite of having so much competition they dont bother about service. They lie to you when u call them up saying that the delivery person has left but in reality the order itself is not ready. Bad service. I used to recommend many people before. But now I will be forced to tell them not to order or visit this place.

My wife and I come here for meals very often. But every Friday we come here for breakfast at 7: 15 am. The restaurant used to be open and we sat there till it was ready to serve. Today (28/06), there was a different manager. We reached there the same time, the doors were opened as usual, but the Manager asked us to come back after 15 mins. We told him we come here the same time every week and sit inside. And asked him to serve whenever they were ready. He told us we cannot sit inside and asked us to leave. Which we found very rude. Not sure if we wanna go back there again.

Nice clean vegan joint. Authentic taste of South Indian (Tamilnadu). Especially you would love all of their Tiffin items

We have been there. Tried Mini Thali and Singapore Noodles. Service was not up to the mark. Had to follow up several times. Dishes were not up to the mark. Needs lot of improvement in quality and service!

Good South Indian Food. Mysore Masala is as spicy as it should be. Gets noisy on Friday mornings but its always worth it.
