I must say, one of the best Masala dosa i’ve tried - crunchy yet not oily. I can easily give 5/5. However, the servers are not that warm - requires improvement. There are other Indian restaurants around them that offers better service. Price wise is also okay.

Been visiting this particular outlet frequently. I feel very safe dining here. They serve Tamil Nadu south Indian food and the quality is pretty good. We usually judge the place by the sambar they serve by far is the best in Dubai

A great experience on discovery gardens, a neat and place with lots of trees and garden. Whole. Like a European style of building and Indians people's living across.

Dropped into this eatery on a Sunday morning and literally had to wait for a good 20 mins before we had someone come and take the order. People who entered after us were being served while we got ignored. Finally had to stand and call a waiter to have the order taken. The ambience isn’t so great for a place serving South Indian vegetarian cuisine. It is a little crowded given its a Sunday, however, the crowd of patrons can be well managed if the branch management so wished. Food was typical of south India flavour so no complaints on that. Service needs to improve drastically, the waiters and management need to keep an eye on if the customers are getting served.

Nowadays the sevice staff are feeling as if they are doing a favour to serve you. You dont get a pleasant feeling of hospitable staff here. Food also now average tasting. They need to tighten the screws if rhey want good reviews m

The brand created a vibe in the region. Good food with good taste. Little higer cost for 3 people. We had 3 dosas and a starter. Costed us aed 50.

Very neat and high quality vegetarian food option in Discovery Gardens. The taste of the food is also very awesome and the place is clean and tidy.

Very tasty food. The restaurant is revamped and ambience is pleasant. Service is sometimes a bit slow. But the food is very good. Highly recommend all idli and dosai varieties. If they can serve the chutneys in a separate bowl instead of the plate, it will be little more pleasing. Filter coffee is an icing on the cake.

Worst delivery service, they take 2 hours to deliver even though it’s 5 mins drive from restaurant. Even more they won’t even pick up calls, I tried calling them for more than 30 times but no response.

I ordered food once from this place and then i wanted to explore this place. Nice family friendly restaurant. The food is amazing and prices are pocket friendly. Best part is i can order food directly from app also!

Went in to this restaurant for an impromptu breakfast with a friend while waiting for the results from the Aster clinic nearby.
I ordered a masal dosa and my friend had the idly set.
Both items came steaming hot on a metal plate, with a spattering of chutneys and a small bowl of sambar on the side.
The food was nice, hot and fresh, the idly was soft and the dosa was crispy.
The service team seemed to be a little down, considering it was early in the morning, but the order was taken quickly and delivery to the table was quick.
We also ordered a tea and coffee to go.
In total the bill for both of us came up to just a bit more than the price of a happy meal.

A decent hotel with low price compared to their competitors. Mini meals was good. Fried rice and gobi 65 was ok. Payasam was too sweet. But the service is good. Recommended

Yummy Tamilnadu style food! Dosa is amazing here, don't miss trying the long Paper Masala Dosa. Gobi 65 is amazing as well. Best for Idly, Dosa, Idiyappam and other South Indian cuisine.

Waiting 30 min and more for one masala dosa. Visit only if you have a full free day on your hands

Recently my experience at Vasanth Bhavan has not been good. There has been a change in the team, seems like the chefs have also changed. As a result quality of food and the level of service has deteriorated. Also several times wrong items have been delivered or served. This once great place for authentic South Indian cuisine is no longer on my top dining places.

I was a regular customer here. But now I see the food quality and taste is not like earlier. Today I ate worst breakfast here. Idly and vada delivered after 30 minutes. 3 types of chatni. Not tasty at all. Puri was half cooked. Onion uttappa half cooked. Dirty chairs. Totally the food and environment is not so good. Hotel manager not at all bothered about our complaints.

Guys at the reception and attending is very very rude. Suggest never to go to this place. Food tastes nice when hospitality is good.

Such a horrible experience. Just to let you (Vasanth Bhavan) know, customers are not roaming for free food. When we come to your restaurant, we know there is a bill to pay. We are just requesting for the right quality for what we pay. I spent at least 10minutes for writing this feedback. This time is worth doing many good things but I did spent because your poor customer service made me do it. I still have photos but don’t want to post it public

One of the worst table management and the attitude of the cashier and manager is worst. Clear evidence of attitude on the way they manage. No proper first come first serve basis. Monopoly attitude. They will face consequence

Once again after month I visited same issue, I trust they understand now the crowd is reduced it’s just purely on how they manage. Even though food is good what is a point when you have utter service and worst table management.

Very bad service, ignorant staffs. Found hair in my Vada, informed them but they didn't do anything about it.

Pretty good place, food is also fine but they need to improve their service. As a customer and a foodie had to wait for a bit longer that expected.

The worstest branch of Vasanta Bhavan where you can find the irrespective waiter and incharge person.
We visited 3rd December for dinner, asked for combine two tables as we were family of 8persons. They denied even near by tables were vacant. Contacted their manager also still useless.

And cleanliness of tables are very horrible, brought and kept food on table without proper cleaning (not even cleared the used water Glasses and bottle of previous guests).

If you are expecting a bit of hygiene and good hospitality then don't visit here.

Once again a visit to my favorite vegrtarian restaurant. Glad that the taste and quality of food is consistent. Clean environment and great ambience. Attentive service. 5 starz given as before. Nothing to complain. Love this place.

It was good in the starting time and now they are not giving good respect for the family mainly South Indians. The server who attached the pic he reacts abnormal when I visited with family. Don’t want to mention more on that

Had full meals and asked for 2 more puirs after confirming with the waiter that it is included in the thali. However, was charged extra for that.
Waiter keeps coming to you to rush the food. Bill was kept on my tablw while I was still having food.
Service is also too slow considering the place was empty (which it deserves)
Unless you want to spoil your mood, avoid visiting this restaurent.

A really good restaurant to have a good South Indian food. They are quick in delivery. Service is good.

Good food with polite and jovial staffs. A great option for South Indian food like dosa, idly, pongal etc and some north Indian food like Chole batura and all. You will never regret the experience.

I bought Garlic naan and Tandori roti. Tandori roti was burned from down and costed me 4 AED which is normally 1 AED else where and the Garlic naan was not rightly made how it usually is prepared. And costed around 6 AED. Very costly restaurant and didn’t like both of these items. Won’t recommend.

Not bad if you are hungry you can eat here. If you want delicious dish try another restaurant. But here dosa & chutney is a good taste.

Like any veg sets these people never fail to deliver. Vada being our fav. Juices here are very average. Dosa sets are good. Veg dishes are slightly above average with price. Slightly pricey compared to others.

i ordered a crisp rava onion dosa and well i was disappointed! It came looking a little messed up with the plate a tad smaller for the size of dosa! Taste too was pretty average
we had a mini thali, upma, ghee idlis, idli wada and filter coffee

Horrible service. Had ordered for home delivery mini tiffin and idli vada. Only mini tiffin was delivered on asking they said it was packed and delivered. We have been ordering regularly from them then why do we need to lie. Absolutely no politeness answering to the customer when it is their fault.

Best suggested for evening dine in and most likely it is less crowded and less noisy.
No wonder about the attention you get it is as usual as in any other South Indian restaurant.

Vasanta Bawan's lunches have become a go to for me. Their food is great value for money along with the homely atmosphere.

First talk about the restaurant, it was fully packed, but still we managed to get a table. Cleanliness is very satisfactory. Staffs are polite and very good.

Being there and tried some of south Indian but simply end with no taste. We tried Mysore masala Dosa, Vada & Uthapam. Shambhar was watery and tasteless.
