The three members of staff have no interest in taking an order. I requested a menu and he gave it to me 5 mins later and then 15 minutes later he still did not come back to ask if I wanted to place an order, he preferred to clean the tables. The two behind the counter did not want to look at the table I sensed as they may need to work and ask what we wanted to order. I’m sure with staff like this the cafe must be losing money.
Very friendly staff and the service is out of this world. The food is amazing especially the mushroom risotto. If you are trying out the coffee, please go with cortado it's the best coffee in town. They use speciality beans For the sweets, I tried the cheese cake, coconut and red velvet. My favourites.
Amazing food. Located in front to Reel Cinemas Dubai Mall. Penne Pasta is our all time favorite. Always the first and sure one to order. Arabic Chicken rice is good too. Courteous staff and calm ambience. And chocolates are awesome too.
Best chocolate lounge with reasonable price. We ordered Fondue and Emarati Coffee Dallah. Chocolate fondues is served with strawberries, banana, mini cakes and marshmallows, as I don't eat marshmallows so I told them not to add it in my plate. I would say superb and flavorsome fondue I have eaten. Emarati Coffee Dallah is must with all the sweets we have, but vintage coffee has its own taste with all falovours of arabic coffee. Will be coming again soon. I would like to thank chefs for their wonderful magic and lovely, friendly staff. + Spacious + Very hygienic + Amazing interior + Fresh food
The whole store has been renovated, it is much better, clearer and more elegant! We had açaí bowls with banana, strawberries and granola. They were delicious! Very good service, I wish their English were a little better to explain the menu.
I’m so glad to be new regular customer to vintage restaurant in second floor of Dubai Mall. Most of staff right now is very helpful, nice & polite specially (Jacky, Ahmed, Jay, Asela & Natali,, etc). As I hope I’ll be familiar to all of them day by day as long as I’ll keep on sitting there!

I was surprised to find out their food dishes are just as good as their chocolates. Everything is homemade in their kitchen, even their chocolate truffles. Absolutely amazing. 100% would recommend
A small but cosy place if you want to have a friends get together or just some coffee Time. The staff is quite kind to accommodate the customizations of a big gang. The things recommended are Omani sliders; chicken mayo sliders, pasta and also the mushroom risotto. The desserts are also on point and so enjoyable
I'm proud of my daughters who worked hard to make this business a success. From the beginning they paid attention to every details trying to perfect their food items, their chocolate and dessert taste and packaging, and their store look, cleanliness and professionalism.
Le royal chocolate and black beauty is highly recommended to everyone to try in this shop. Love it. We also tried all their chocolates and top of my list: pistachio truffle, black tea truffle and black pearl truffle are the best. I am only disappointed for their packaging if you ask for take away esp for pastries.
We ordered brownies and Arabic coffee. The brownie where something like cubes of dry chocolate cake topped with ice-cream.the ice cream used was of a really low quality and tasted too bad (it tasted like a white cold thing full of sugar). The Arabic coffee was also too bad
I ordered a white chocolate crepe with strawberries.it came along with vanilla ice cream. I personally didn't like the taste of the ice cream but surely loved the crepe. I also tried their cube of a chocolate 52% and it was worth trying. There are selection of pastries you can go for or milkshakes or tea and coffee.choice is yours
A chocolate factory moment for all the chocoholics and sugar addicts!
The place is nicely tucked into a corner near Reel Cinemas, in Dubai Mall. It has this cost atmosphere with dim lighting and a decor that we would love to have in our room. Being Ramadan there was no music playing. The seating includes typical chairs or sofas which we picked that were super comfy and could sit there for ages. There was another level which didn’t seem to be open so couldn’t venture out there and see for what it was.
Bite Board
1. Chocolate Soufflé [AED 39]: A chocolate cake that oozes out the gooey chocolate served with a bowl of vanilla ice-cream. The cake was baked well, the texture was moist and not burnt as in some other places. There is a chocolate goo once you dig up the portion in the middle tastes like heaven with a dollop of ice-cream with it. The serving is good enough for two people to share.
2. Aztec Hot Chocolate [AED 28]: The smell of the hot chocolate was divine and created high expectations for us but unfortunately this was a complete no for us. It is sublimely blended with hot chilli and served the Aztec way. This sounded like a unique blend and therefore our choice for trying it out since we like spicy food. The drink is only good when you sip it but the aftertaste is very peculiar and not in a good way. It tasted like a thorough blend of various spices made use of in a home remedy. It was way too spicy even for the spice lovers. This is probably meant for those of you with strong hearts, who like hot spicy drinks and don’t mind taking a risk with your beverages. The portion is quite enormous which could be easily shared between three to four people.
3. Jewel Box [AED 49]: A gorgeous golden box that was elegantly decorated with a mini red bow. It comes along with hot chocolate sauce that melts the magnificent box filled with golden brownies, maltesers, wafer crumbs and ice-cream. This felt way too sweet but did the job of saving us from the aftertaste of the hot chocolate. The brownies were just okay, the ice-cream didn’t taste the same as served with the soufflé so we are assuming the ice-cream served with the jewel box is of a different flavor and probably not vanilla. The chocolate sauce felt like a combination of milk chocolate and condensed milk. Overall a way too sweet dish for our taste buds. This serving is also easily shared between two to four people.
Service: There was just one server present who was handling the place. He was kind enough to wait for taking our order since we couldn’t decided on which form of chocolate should we go for. The server was attentive and friendly but kind of confused as well.
Cash Outflow: For the quantity offered the pricing seems to be reasonable.
Circling Back: We will be making another visit soon to try out the chocolate shots and the other desserts.
