Virgin Megastore

I've never received this kind of service at any Virgin Megastore as I did today at the Dubai Marina Mall Branch. Shoon is an extremely unpolite and unprofessional cashier. Rolling her eyes, raising her tone, and failing to express herself professionally are not the kind of service we expect from Virgin Megastore. I will never visit this branch again, and I encourage that they train better this cashier on how to provide decent customer care.

Extremely bad experience with Virgin Internet plan. Super slow process for delivery and setup vs. A claimed 60min ready to use! Super slow internet 40-50M vs. Claimed high speeds of 300M+. Extremely frustrating customer care team on the app to cancel the subscription and get a refund! Don't recommend at all

Bought a mouse with assistance of store staff. Once I came home and unpacked it - there was no receiver, which is essential. So it was stolen and even I told staff that I don't need a mouse with receiver they still used my trust to sell the item.
No way to back again.

This Virgin Megastore is smaller than say the one at Mall of the Emirates and consequently only carries a smaller selection of products.

However, if you're in the area it is quite handy to have it here and I've bought the odd bits and bobs from this store noting that Virgin Megastore is generally not the cheapest.

It's usually a relatively quiet store with ample reasonably friendly staff so it's quite pleasant to shop at.

When us virgin mbl going to stop sending me reminders to renew my emirates ID, when confirmed 3 times all is in order!

Very bad customer service, my line is disconnected for 5 days and not connecting to any network, and still no one is solving this issue, they don't have a hotline or someone to talk to! What you can do is text them on Instagram and they reply when they can with the same templates.

Caters for everyone's needs. This place never ceases to surprise me with high quality products irrespective of it is electronics, toys, clothing, household items, etc. Tends to be pricy sometimes, however.

I underwent a horrible service, when i needed to get the new sim card here. Perhaps Virgin Mobile can arrange more customer service training for them.

Spent 10 min walking around, none of the staff (there were quite a few free ones talking to each other and laughing) neither assisted nor approached. In general, Virgin staff in UAE seems to be untrained and incompetent.

Good operator. Sometimes there are queues in the store, but the employees quickly resolve all issues.

It has unclear rules to buy IPhones, which change every minute you inside the store. Totally do not recommend.

Worsr customer service I experienced.standing there waiting for 15 min asking for help and a lady decides to say I'm already with 2 clients as you can see. Put down what I wanted to purchase and left.absolutely rude.

Bought Amazon Kindle here. Apparently this device is marked as stolen by amazon and I can’t register it.

No refunds from Virgin and no explanation. Strongly advice to not use Virgin at all.

A little bit pricey, just recently bought bluetooth open sound wireless headset (aftershokz), worth it and stylish. The store as everything you can think of. Dubai mall branch has more to offer, marina mall us quite small.

Packed with a load of stuff all over. I felt a bit choked and not much to browse! Staff are good and help out.

World class showroom, Excellent customer service. I am regular and loyal to their all retail shops. Summer offers are amazing. Always enjoyed here shopping with family. Great store and service. I brought back a pair of sports Jabra earphones that were fitting badly. They replaced them without any issues.

Bought a couple of 4K films to try out the new telly and a vinyl copy of Wish You Were Here (sold my original in 1991 when I was young and foolish) plus a book for Sue.

The virgin megastore store is an absolute terrible place when it comes to sending their items via post. I orded an item more than 3 weeks back. I still haven't received it. I will never buy from their online store ever again. It's appalling service.

Looking for a new phone or electronics device? This is a one stop shop for anything electronic. You can even buy electric scooters from this location. I had left my laptop cord in Canada and the staff was super friendly and managed to find me a free kettle plug for thier storage room.

While I initially had a terrible experience with a defaulted product, the team - namely Ash, turned the situation around and were super polite etc through out.

They need more than one month to fix the tire of Ixiaomi scooter, I bought It less than 5 months. I could buy it in other store cheaper than virgin but I trusted them, I told them I need it fast and no one inform me than will take this time to fix one tire, I requested back after 15 days I told them I can’t wait more so they returned unfixed and they had attitude and they said I should wait if I want it done, I called the customer care and they told me the manager will contact me but also the PROFESSIONAL manager didn’t have the courtesy to apologise or find a solution, he just told me it is ready to pickup but not fixed.you pay more and you pay the warranty for better service but unfortunately they are not up to the brand name.

Maybe virgin megastore dont pay the phone bill, i try to call already 4 days to catch some guys in the marina mall virgin store to ask when is my warranty item ready after 6 weeks (what is already a very long time for a warranty items) but, its not possible to catch any guys on the phone.the stuff is nice and cool, but, this things is so annoying.and last time i go directly with my bicycle to the mall to ask and i park my bicycle on the side and the security guy bring (without my permission) to a other place and broke something on the wheel. (cost for repairing 450 aed) thanks marina mall, nice place to spent your nerve!

I call to today around 30 times, always I came till press 0 for customers service or 1 for, what ever, but if you push the 0 then 2 times you listen the sound and then. Surprise. Cut the line. That's so annoying even friends trying this and some issues. Wow Virgin that's amazing service! PS, the word amazing was, sarcasm!

I've been calling their phone number for over an hour to ask a question and they keep hanging up.

Having recently returned from a trip to Russia I had a problem with my watch. Damage to the screen and then it stopped working. I thought I would reach out to Virgin Dubai Marina Mall which is when the initial problems started. On dialing the branch number as available on the internet it goes through to an automated answering system that offered you two options; press one or two.whichever option you selected (many times) it would ring twice and then cut you off! Decided to reach out to the Dubai Mall branch; spoke with one member of staff in 'Customer Service' described what had happened to my watch and was told that it should be covered for repair under warranty. Arranged for my driver to deliver the watch to Dubai Marina Mall to get it sorted and problems continued. They refused to give him a receipt for the watch (anything to say it was now in their possession rather than mine or my drivers) and kept him waiting there for almost an hour. Subsequently I spoke with the Manager who assured me that he would 'personally' deal with the issue and email that afternoon with an update. It was only yesterday when I had the time to follow up and speak with the branch (phone seems to be sorted now). I was disappointed that it was down to me to reach out to you to find out 1) that the cost of repair is 1000+AED and 2) that it was only after my call I received the email that had been promised to me the previous week. Having requested a POC I managed to track down the mobile number of someone in HR. Having spoken to Rachel she requested I email her details of my complaint and that it will be dealt with. Well after several ignored WhatsApp message and call I subsequently receive a call from someone in Customer Services who informs me that they can't help and the charge remains. He obviously wouldn't admit they have a problem with the training of there staff. So in short will I utilize Virgin again; definitely not and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to either. Oh and I'm still waiting for the watch to be returned!
