Wakha Restaurant barsha

I came here on the recommendation from a friend who is a local. We visited this restaurant on Tuesday evening during around 7pm. We ordered a mixed grill platter for 2 and the spicy tandoori chicken. The platter came out within 20 min. And most of the meat was tender (the lamb should have been cooked a bit longer). I was disappointed by the Kabuli plau. I felt like the raisins and carrots were not well
Incorporated into the rice. Lastly, the naan came out 45 min after we were done eating. I really liked the wait staff and the decor but the food could have been better.

Items will take 30 mins. We make fresh. This is the reply from the waiter, they are trained to reply and irritate the customers I guess. We have to walk out frustrated. Nobody was bothered. Good luck to them

Extremely good food. I asked for a one person portion recommendation, and they suggested me to order a combo biryani which includes lamb chop, grilled chicken breast and beef, super juicy and tasty.

Best price-quality ratio for such amount of food. For 130 AED you get meal for 2-3 persons. Pulau and meat was very delicious.

Lovely experience. Food has been consistently super since i started coming here more than 7 yrs ago. The owners are hands on, very engaging and friendly with customers. The meat is cooked to perfection and the afghani tikkas are one of the best in Dubai, if not the best. Food quantity and taste makes it value for money. Ill continue to come and kudos to the owners and the staff for their great work

Food is nice but comparatively lesser than others afghani food.

Got taken here for the first time yesterday and wondering how I haven't discovered this place yet. Quantities were great, service was smooth, friendly and very efficient. The setup and ambience is down to earth which is even better allowing a more relaxed meal. The food can be a tad spicy but really good.my only comment is the chicken was slightly on the salty side. The Naan was excellent. Would I do this again.absolutely.

Best Afghan cuisine restaurant in Dubai. Go for some authentic taste of Afghan Pulav. Bit expensive but worth the price.

I can say "Lamb Shenwari" is a perfect MEAT LOVER dish. Tender lamb meat cooked with in a thick tomato and green chilli pepper paste. You just need Afghani bread with that. It's not spicy and the portion is enough for 2 men. That dish was the star of the order. I will surely come again. The service is also great! Mohamed suggested the dish and he did well doing that.

Went there on 16th October 2021 with my guests came from Pakistan and ordered chicken Karahi and specially requested to not add any chili or spices as I am patient. Despite they added lot of chili after waiting for 40 minutes twice as they tried to wash the chili from cooked food still lot of chili no one could eat it. They offered yogurt to reduce chili instead. We asked for owner to complain, owner was out for prayers we waited for him. He never came and the guy who was serving was not taking poor service into account was totally rude and was misbehaving. After paying the bill he threatened us that go and do what you want to do this is our service. Long story short Bad attitude and poor service.

I ordered for pick up the service is so baaad i had to wait for 1 hour and wrong order sooo bad experience

The best ever namak Mandi Karahi. I didn't expect a namak Mandi quality in Dubai. Everyone must try.

Ordered afghani rice with Kabab.test of Kabab not bad.due to my experience the afghani rice totally fat of what I expected.

Total experience.the food clean and not bad test but I would not repeat the experience again.

Thanks Wakha Resturant for delicious Kabali Pulao and delicious kabab and chicken karahi, but we wait a long for it, but I come to know you actually prepared fresh food after order. Anyway it’s worthy to wait and all of my friends enjoyed and will come back surely but I will prefer to order first over the phone before coming

Great food, excellent service. The freshly prepared Shinwari Lamb Karahi with Bone is one of my favorite. Add to it the BBQ Rice Platter, amazing combination. Highly Recommended!

Absolutely brilliant! The food is to die for.such good grills. Really worth the trip to any of their branches. The service is also exemplary. Their waitstaff is delightful and very helpful in explaining everything on the menu. Be prepared to feast if you ever go there!

They didnot gave us the correct order, when we called the waiter, no one took responsibility. And when we got out of the restaurant without eating anything, noone apologised neither anyone cared

Amazing service, food is fresh and authentic flavors. I gave it 3 because its not my kinda of cuisine. Complementary salad could be improved!

COVID ALERT! The manager / owner is walking around without a mask constantly and endangering clients. Terrible to see this lack of concern and the food and anything else doesn’t matter at this time!

Food and the taste, no doubt no second thought, is awesome but the serving portions are small and also the price are sky high for all the regular dishes. The management should consider decreasing the sky high PRICES.

Awesome amazing Afghani food. Lamb was super soft like cotton candy melting in your mouth. Excellent quality food and service, specially the waiter Badshah Khan. He was excellent, super sweet and welcoming.

Excellent wakha style afghani and pakistani dishes. Great barbque and rice. Breads are fresh. Everything is made from scratch.

The food is really delicious, well cooked, zero artificial additives but.but the prices are a really high. You need to pay a lot to feel full.

First time i am visited here, that's a wonderful experience, traditional afghanistan food available here with good taste. We ware taken mix platter it's 105for two person but there person should eat fully. They are cook food after your order. Every food take 30 minutes for making. Mean time they served vegetable salads without slice with a knife. After food we should get traditional tea compliment. It's little costly place but should visit
