Seafood should be eaten at Yahya, or at home, nowhere else, the have the best food. They have only one problem, their staff is kind of rude and picky with whom to serve. Otherwise, the best seafood in Dubai

Worst service! I have been to restaurants my whole life and never seen such bad customer service!
employees are not welcoming at all, i went there in the holidays to have fun but i was very angry from the treatment! This is not how the guests should be treated at all
i would never come back to such place with this kind of attitude and treatment
once i arrived there was no welcoming at all, if you dont order or have a paper of your order they wont seat you! Im coming to a seasfood restaurant to eat not to sit, anyways the staff there is bad with no experience of customer service

I went there recently, and I have to say it wasn't a good experience at all. It's a bit overpriced didn't feel like I got value for my money. The staff was also quite rude. I was asked by Wali (seems a senior staff) to leave the table just because I was waiting for my spouse. The waiter told me I had to stand up if I wasn't placing an order.

What made it worse was that the staff seemed to only understand Arabic. If you're Indian, Pakistani, or Bangladeshi, then better avoid. The food wasn't served well, and to top it off, the drinks came really late and were left on the counter instead of being brought to the table.

You will get very very poor customer service if you are not an Arab national. Staff with no manners

I can not cancel the food even I am full. One of the best seafood place in Dubai. Yes it isn't luxury place but the quality of food is worth to have. Just amazing.

Such a worst behavior from the fish receiving man.we went over at closed time the given fish is not properly cooked. It's my time experience I couldn't happy with this restaurant.

The taste of almost all dishes were amazing, the presentation considered not bad but it can be better, the side dishes are also very tasty and variable.
Very nice view but their is a fishy smell starts from parking till you pass the fish market.
The service was not that up to expectations!
No fast response to your requirements and finally the prices are very expensive comparing to any other seafood restaurant in Dubai.

Not bad if you are not the gourmet type of consumer. I felt like I wasted the great fish and shrimps I bought from the market inside. I should have taken them and cooked at home.but if you want the view, then yea, get your fish drenched with cumin and get a table out there.

I was served a lobster that was to me more of a coleslaw from KFC, it had no taste and not even the fish uniqueness. The fries that was ordered was cold and was made in old and nasty oil and didn’t have the fresh fries taste. The service was not good they treated us like we were a bunch of randoms from a street corner. No COVID restrictions are made by the waiters, some waiter treated us in a very disrespectful way. If this continues I will be expecting this place to shut down very soon.

Clown Restaurant, a training teenager worker started disrespecting me. Absolute shamble of a place and does not go with current COVID restrictions.

I had a very bad experience, the price is very high compared to the food quality, the worst sea food I've ever eaten in UAE. I don't recommend that restaurant to anyone.

لا يرقي إلى مستوى انه يتعمل ريفيو. ستاف قليل الذوق وقليل الأدب يحتاج رباية. تركنا أولادنا و زوجاتنا عندهم حصل تطاول عليهم. واللي تطاول اختفى حين قدومنا وتجمع علينا باقي الاستاف محاولة لارهابنا. أجواء نحن في غنى عنها ولكن لو من الرجولة كان ظهر ذلك الشخص لكي يتعلم درس لن ينساه في حياته.

First of all was the waiters behavior very arrogant and rude
Then the food was the worst I order rocket salad that comes with pomegranate and some other veggies all I got was straight up rocket leaves, I brought my own oyster I asked them if they don’t know how to open it I’ll do it, he said we can, I got the oyster served broken and without it being on top of ice and surely they don’t know the difference between dead and live oysters

Nice restaurant.there's an option to choose your seafood there or buy from the market and they will cook it for you for a small service charge. Nicely cooked.

DO NOT GO! If could put a 0 I’ll totally do it! We waited for almost 1 h to be attended a nobody even poder the menu. After 45 min waiting my wife and I decided to leave when we show they attended before people who arrived later than us.

The worst service ever, the stuff were not friendly at all. After waiting for half an hour. The waiter said " sorry, you can take food an leave". " why" because there is a minimum order that we didn't reach. You don't tell me what to order, I paid for the fish and drinks. Worst experience ever.

مطعم ممتاز في سوق السمك و عصبراته مميزة ايضا و الافضل ان تحضر السمك معك من السوق و يقومون بطبخه لك على طلبك لان الخيارات في المطعم محدودة عكس السوق

They don't deserve one star. The fish wasn't even fresh (bad quality) and very poor service and ventilation system for the shop doesn't work properly (smell your clothes after getting out of the restaurant). It's not recommended at all.

I like that you can choose and pick exactly what you want from the display and all are fresh, then you choose how you would like grilled or fried or whatever, sea bass and sea bream were delicious and fresh the grilled jumbo prawns is great also, don’t forget to try the seafood soup it’s tasty and rich of ingredients, staff are helpful and polite, I also liked the decoration of the Resturant it’s unique.

المكان جميل والأكل طعمه حكاية بس مشكلة الزحمه وان الزبون يفضل مستني ياخد طاولة ويوقف بالربع أو تلت ساعه دى المشكلة لكن كل حاجه غير كده تمام

Great value for money. Good food. The service is slow, and they were PACKED when I visited. It was a nightmare to get a table. Overall, if they're less busy, the outdoors seating by the sea is perfect.

I went there with my family last day, we bought our choices of fish and shrimps from the near by fish market, then we got the fish cleaned there and we took it to this restaurant to cook it for us. We enjoyed sitting outside with nice view and atmosphere, we were served in short time, the fish was cooked in a very nice way and tasted really good, also the shrimps were done really good way. The prices are acceptable and even better compared to other similar places

Very disappointed.my first experience eating here.ordered tom yum soup & waited for almost 2 hours only to be told that the chef is missing.they could have told us earlier so that we could change our order.we only ordered grilled prawns, rice & tom yum (which never came). End up packed the prawns & rice after waiting for 2 hours

Came here with a friend for a quick dinner. We were quickly seated and able to pick what we wanted. The staff was attentive and answered any questions. We ordered fish, lobster, shrimp and Thai fried rice, all very delicious. I liked that they also provided water for us. The portion sizes are great, will be back!

It was a terrible experience. Food had a bad taste Because of the mix of spices used. Also, the fish was still raw from inside that we couldn't finish it. We only ate the the cooked part and throw the rest.
The worker who takes the order of the the fish was careless and didn't focus on how do we want the food to be cooked. The staff attitude was really bad. We all left the restaurant feeling very unhappy about the experience.

Worst customer service ever - very rude and bad employees with the worst attitude! They treat you as if they are paying the bill not us as customers! The food was cold as they missed our order to be served and they still have a very argumentative attitude!

I don’t recommend this place for my worst enemies! And yes my worst enemies!

During both of my visits almost all tables were occupied, so it's quite a popular place. The service needs attention and improvement. Prices for some of the starters and side dishes are extremely high. In terms of flavor, it varies, hummus and fattoush were great while the spring rolls not so much. We bought fish from the market, they cooked it, first visit the flavors were better than the second.

This is an arabic restaurant by the waterfront. You buy fresh fish at the air conditioned fish market and have it cleaned there, then proceed to have it cooked by the kilo and served to you at Yahya. All rates from buying to cleaning to cooking are by the kilo. It's a fun experience. Yahya has a good location, good food and a friendly and efficient staff. It's a fun experience.

This place is very good, they do grill, fry, stir fry, and many other different ways of cooking seafood
I liked the shrimps on the grill, the fish with oil and lemon, and the fried fish as well.
Instead of buying fish from them, try to buy the fish from the market behind and bring it to them to cook and you will save minimum 50% of the fish price, you still get to eat it inside, you can order appetizers from them to prepare and serve with the fish, tahina and tarator sauces are the best with grilled and fried fish.

It's inside the waterfront (fish) market. From here you can buy all kinds fresh fish, shrimps and all seafood items yourself and the restaurant will grill these for you. I liked it Bcz it was nice to have a good time with friends and we eat the fresh grilled fish and shrimps. Very nice

مطعم مأكولات بحرية ممتاز جدا على الطريقة المصرية المتميزة اسعاره مقارنة بأسعار مطاعم الوجبات البحرية في دبي تعتبر مناسبة جدا. اهميته تكمن في الطعم والجودة اضافة لفقرة ممكن عمل السمك الذي تختاره بنفسك مقابل اجور معينة.

Very bad experience I had with this restaurant, one star is even more than it deserve, no washing place in a seafood restaurant what made us surprise and wondering if the staff will be able to wash before serving us the food, very poor service as we have to wave and shout to ask someone to come to bring us a water or tisu, we were not aware that we can buy a fish from the market and get a cooking service here but anyway we chosen 3 kg of some fish, it was overpriced more than 4 time we can buy from the market (we discovered this later when we went to the market to buy the same fish to take it with us to home), the please was not clean, very noisy and not enough light at our place (near to the wall), the grilled fish was not good at all and there was some sand I found in my one what made me stop eating and go out.
Again it was very bad experience at this place and I do not recommend it at all for anyone.
أسوأ تجربة اكل سمك في مطعم قابلتها في حياتي ولا انصح اي شخص بالذهاب الى هذا المطعم, اسعار السمك مبالغ فيها جدا لو قررت تختار السمك من المطعم (اكثر من 4 اضعاف سعر نفس النوع لو اشتريته من السوق ده بخلاف الخدمة و الضريبة مع الاسف اكتشفنا المبالغة في السعر بعدين عندما ذهبنا للسوق لشراء نفس نوع السمك اللي طلبناه لأخذه للمنزل و طبخة بنظافة) المكان لا يوجد به حمام لغسل اليدين قبل و بعد الاكل ومش عارف كيف العاملين بالمكان يحافظون على مستوى نظافتهم بهذا الشكل؟! السمك المقدم المفترض انه مشوي كان سيء للغاية و كان فيه بعض الرمل مع خلطة السنجاري المعمول بها مما اضطرني للتوقف عن الأكل و الانصراف مبكرا, الخدمة سيئة و بطيئة و المكان غير نظيف و الاضاءة سيئة جدا في جوانب المطعم لأننا جلسنا بجوار الحائط, اخيرا احب اقول ان المكان سيء ولا انصح اي شخص به

Nice place at the new Dubai Waterfront market for all your seafood delicacies. You can buy your own fresh cleaned seafoid from the market and get it cooked by their chef as you want it to be cooked at a reasonable price!

Buy your own fish and let them grill. Order drinks and sides from here and enjoy your meal. However, a few staffs seemed to be rude. Otherwise, a great place overall.

Nice but crowded restaurant waited 30 mn in the queue to grill our fish and 45 mn to get them ready.we asked to grill only but we received our fish cooked as tajin with sauce which we don't like

Honestly I always say the service standard in this place is enough to make people run away from it!

We went for iftar there (3 hours before iftar time) to reserve a table ;although all tables were empty one of the staff told us all the tables next to the water are reserved and while he clearly wanted money I didn’t give him to get it, after another section I asked him about it he said it won’t be open for iftar today at all and our only option is to sit in the available table (far from water)

3 hours passed and I came back to find even the section I was told not gonna open is fully opened now with customers sitting

Asked the same waiter what happened he simply said we are busy and that’s what I have for you! I asked him to speak to his manager he said go your self find him!

Manager came after and resolved the issue and was polite enough and we were served after by a nice guy but sorry my experience totally ruined

It was really really good. We went to the sea fish market, purchased a bunch of sea fish, I don't know the names except shrimp. Cleaned and washed. Then gave it to Yahya seafood restaurant to cook. This restaurant is just in the bank of a river, very close to the sea. Gentle cold breeze was pushing us to go inside, it was too cold out there in that moonlight night.

When the food came. We just couldn't wait, the smell was tickling our nostril and we couldn't stop until all were finished. We were so full that I thought I will throw up but it didn't happen. I wish i will visit there with my family if I go Dubai for the second time.

Food taste was ok yet on the expensive side. Service and general process not good. SLOW and DISORGANIZED when crowded.

رائع نظافة وطعم في الاكل عجيب. يعيب عليهم السعر قليلا. الكاشير من تونس تعامله سيء مع أكثر من عميل لا يصلح في مثل موقع مقابلة جمهور.

Food is good. Original way of cooking as well. Prices are fair. The problem is service and delays. All tables around same complaint. 3 of 6 plates we ordered came very late and cold. Well it was a Friday so.watch hygiene guys. Border line
