Yamanote Atelier - Al Ferdous 2

Love their cream filled cone bread, mini japanese souffle cheese cake and cheese tart are soo gawwddd! Wife love their salmon toast too!

I went there for the second time as my experience the first time, 4 months ago, was not good either. As I had spoken to the manager at the time about the bad service and quality of the food I wanted to see if they had managed to fix any of the issues. I also ordered the exact same food to see if item had improved or not.
Service: From the time I orders and food arrived till I had to flag someone to ask for the check, no one came to check on me or my food. I was seeing the staff around the bakery area, talking and laughing, but none bothered to come and check on my table.
Food: I ordered the Bento bowl w Americano coffee. The 4 pieces of the rubbery chicken on the bento box was exactly that. Rubbery. I tried to take a bit, but to no avail, the “chicken” kept bouncing back. It happened w all 4 pieces, so I basically left them alone. The rest of the bowl was OK. But then again I had to visit the bathroom multiple times that day. So not sure how fresh the eggs or the seaweed was.
Atmosphere: Inside was clean. Not many people there. Mostly they were buying from the bakery and taking it away. But outside couches (where I wanted to sit originally, were beyond nasty looking. The couches had horrible dirty stains. I opted to sit inside in the cool room smelling the baked goods which looked amazing.

Overall, will not be going there anymore.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Welcome was great, Gael our waitress was great and super friendly. Food was good and coffee just right. Will go back soon highly recommended.

Balaraj one of the finest staff in yemanote. I try coffee from him cafe late? It was awesome.

Authentic Japanese bread and It is Highly recommended for bread lovers. They Coffee is good and portion of food is generous. Scrambled egg with medium cook salmon is my all time favorite for breakfast. It is satisfying ️

Possibly the best patisserie in town. They prepare fresh croissants, pastries, cookies and all kind of savory delicatessen. The place is bright and welcoming, the staff very courteous. A must try outlet on weekends, if you’re not afraid of those extra calories…

This place is a piece of yummy heaven, everything they have tastes amazing. Mohammed was very friendly and cheerful and made sure we enjoyed our breakfast. Will definitely be coming here again soon. Thank you Yamanote team

Compared to when it was at wasl plaza, I could see many improvements. It is particularly impressive that visitors can park for free!

Drinks and bread prices are on the higher side compared to other bakeries, but the quality is definitely good.

I like this branch more than Dubai mall. It's big, peaceful and you can see their kitchen which looks so clean and big! Service was great from Moadh. Highly recommend

The Egg Benedict was so delicious. Thank you for the lady who served us and accommodated our requests "forgot to ask for the name", I enjoyed the coffee you suggested as well will surely visit again.

My husband and I were a bit disappointed with the quality of the steak sandwich.the meat is hard and dry not like before. Did you guys change the meat?

Love the Japanese cheeses cakes. The level of sugar in these deserts are just perfect and not overwhelming. It's a must try. Even the coffee is quite decent.

We loved the breakfast. The melon bun is exceptional. Oranji Castella as well. Our waitress Aisha from Sri Lanka was very nice and always smiling. Fast service and delicious food. Avocado toast is great.

This is by far the best breakfast place that I have tried so far. Food is sooooo good. Very nice place to relax and staff are so polite and happy. Will be back again. Thank you Ruby for making our morning special.

Good quality nice food. I usually come here after school pickups with my kids and buy them a pastry each.

A bit noisy, not sure if it's the load AC or children shouting and running around with no responsible parents in sight. Food though is amazing

Sandwich and eggs benedict was good. Pancakes were not to our taste.and the fresh juice serving was small

Good food but very pathetic customer service. Even after leaving your number with them for a call back, nobody calls back. Much worst when talking to them over the phone.

All the pastries tasted fresh and nice, but i mostly liked the atmosphere. It's very homey and cute. Definitely a family place

Amazing bakery, the pastry I had is remind me of the pastries from my home country. From the time you enter is an amazing smell inside. If you're a fan of pastries and cakes you must visit this place.

A different Friday breakfast place. A nice menu in an open and airy space. What I liked about this place is the menu was different, well at least the same dishes where presented differently which is always refreshing but that the presentation differently meant that the bread portion of the presentation was too much taking away from the flavor of the real breakfast (see my pictures to understand). Also because of the way its designed as a bakery, it gets very loud in there when busy on a Friday morning. Finally only 3 childeren high seats which was no where near enough. So 3 stars I think is fair, which is a good score, but the lack of baby chairs and the large portion of bread made me take the 2 stars of. Maybe a visit just to the bakery for some afternoon tea and 4 stars maybe even 5 would be easy.

Went there with my family. Wonderful place, in an attractive and peaceful area. Staff were lovely & welcoming. The menu was full of irresistible items. Overall, an absolutely brilliant experience and definitely will recommend

My go to place for Japanese pastries and Matcha drinks. Had Egg Benedict Salmon Cube and Cappuccino for brunch today. They also got another branch in Dubai Mall. I always come back to try out their other pastries (both sweet and savory) as so many options to choose from.

Their delivery is disaster. I have called 3-4 times for follow up and driver is just cheating. And I have told with manager who was also cheating. Just told me, we will investigate and call you back but never called me…. I have embarrassed that they are thinking Japanese Quality of Customer Service.

It's nice in the early morning when there's not much people and there's ample parking in front of the restaurant. The server was nice and he gave good suggestions. However the waiting time was a tad longer than anticipated considering the number of customers during our visit. In our minds, we just thought that they were making everything from scratch. And pancakes were not available that day! Other than that, everything was good including the food (we ordered acai bowl, croque madam and salmon toast), and the pricing wasn't bad. Overall, a lovely experience?

My kids eat at Yamanote once a week after their gym class. The staff is very helpful and attentive to details, offering from time to time small bits to test. The bread is to DIE FOR.

A very nice and authentic Japanese pastry experience. Nice and vibrant ambiance with very friendly helpful staff and great selections.

Would give this place 7 stars if i could. Lovely concept. Delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff. The inside seating area and outside seating areas are nice. Inside you can watch all the yummy magic happen in the kitchen through glass panels. By far my favourite Japanese eatery. Have been here multiple times and can confidently say they are consistent and top notch. They also have amazing giftboxes for when you visit people or have occasions and people are always happy to be on the receiving end of these boxes.

Quality of pastries is still excellent but staff needs to step up in customer service. It’s a Japanese brand, so the staff needs to take a cue or two from the original brand. I wasn’t offered any help nor greeted when entering the store. This is the only branch in the UAE that needs improvement in customer service. All other branches’ staff especially in Abu Dhabi are excellent. Guys step up please.

Although Yamanote is one my favorite spots in Dubai for bakery and coffee I was extremely disappointed with my Açaí bowl today. It was mixed with Yoghurt which is a 1st to me and tasted like a smoothie and tasted nothing like an Açai

I was honestly very disappointed with my latest experience, the buns weren't fresh at all like they were baked a day before.

I ordered the Cherry bun from the new sakura menu, the description clearly says "Sakura almond cream" along with the Cherry filling.but the one I ordered is with cherry Jam only.

Specious space. Lovely spot for bakeries. I tried the breakfast for the first time. The coffee is good the avo toast is so delicious. The french toast taste good too. The only thing i didnt like the acai

Nice place but poor service; The staff made me feel uncomfortable, I did not like the language and treatment of the employee. They even forgot some items from our order.and when I said for him you forgot my dish he laughed and left me, and when we dieccus the issue with him he start make fun of the name of the order. Seriously, the worst service 0/10

Well, I do not say that this is genuine Japanese dish but it does not really have a hint of Japanese-ness however whether it is Japanese or not, this restaurant serves great dishes. That is for sure. Good to spend special and unique morning time in this pleasant ambience!

MUST TRY THE CHEESECAKE AND THEIR FRESH WHIPPED ICE-CREAM!

If you would like to buy 25 aed cup of orange juice and 25 aed coffee but get charged for milk in your coffee go there.

Been a very long time costumer, but the latest cafe/bakery setting service was horrible. Had to wait over 30 minutes for food, which was served cold and not based on noted preferences! I also ordered a drink three times, and it wasn’t served (sparkling water, not even anything that needs to be prepared). Even the bill took a whole 15 minutes

I went in to have the Chocolate Coffee Kouglaf, but unfortunately they stopped making it.the had the Mocha Croissant! Which was amazing! My kids loved the Panda lotus and the Kitty Nutella buns! The ambiance is good.perfect for a family breakfast!

Yamanote Atelier is a lovely place to have a Macha latte break with Japanese sweet and savory delicacies. As the bakery has been a round for a few years, the hype is over and the interiors have some patina, however, the freshly prepared items on display are still phenomenal. OK, I might not get the concept of pasta in a bun. But there is plenty of choice that makes the taste buds and tummy grow fonder. And, what's also a plus, the audience is a healthy mix of locals and expats.

I made an order through carriage, unfortunately the egg and potato arrived cold and really tasteless, the cheesecake is really small which is unfortunate because it tasted good.the french toast had a bad taste to it.the rest was good but not great

Cute little Japanese bakery with an excellent selection of pastries and coffee. Their staff is also really polite.

We have dropped by Al Seef Mall yesterday to try out Yamanote’s bakery for the first time but was quite disappointed with one of the female staff’s attitude towards other customers and myself. As she is working as cashier counter; I expected her to have a friendlier approach, greet customers with a smile and have less attitude - all that I’ve mentioned is the minimum of what a customer like myself could ask for.

However, in general the bakery was delicious especially the cheese tart. My daughter loves their bread buns but unfortunately I don’t think I would go back their again.

Found out later that my Americano was charged 23 instead of 20, waitress came up with an excuse that it's "organic" (not on menu.) flys everywhere in shop while pasties uncovered (quite disappointed for Japanese standards, but hey this isn't Japan)

A gorgeous restaurant with not only a beautiful look, but an equally prefect menu of items. Go for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. I highly recommend this Japanese inspired restaurant.

The best patisserie in the city has suddenly dived downwards. The best sandwiches in town have had a dramatic makeover just to become one of the worst.
Please Yamanote, bring your style and class back. Do not destroy your best attributes.

Delicious pastries and sweets, have limited tables so it's good for take outs of deliveries, somehow expensive.

Very cute pastries. I love all of their red bean buns, it’s really nice. I find everything else a bit dry and not fresh at all (al wasl square branch). Service is good, staff are friendly and helpful.

I'm very conflicted about this review as I love the product but have had several bad experiences at there other branch near al wasal rd. Only negative comment I would say about the Dubai mall one is that I feel the product is cooked very early in the morning and not as fresh as it could be. Service is very good and friendly.

Construction still ongoing in the front side of the outlet. I went in the morning i was alone staff were talking loudly in their native language throughout my breakfast not very respectful despite their boredom. Food is on the usual levels of Yamanote.

This place ia always great. I comeall the way from Al Ain to Dubai to have my breakfast here. Its comfy, nice and very good to spend time either with friends or family. Everything us just right from food and drinks. You can buy some snaks for home or can be a good gift as well. They do make seasonal gifts eg; for Eid. So far they have the sweetest kinda bread and ice cream from what I have tasted in different areas. It can be expensive for some people, but i see the prices are decent. In the end it deserves you to visit it and enjoy
