Useless service & app.
When purchasing the card online it didn’t state there’s a short expiry date to redeem (1week) and it didn’t indicate clearly that it should be redeemed at once, you can’t divide the amount.

Such a nice idea, contactless gifts on the time of corona are way better and (you got a gift) made it easy and fun

Initially the card did not work. Called them, had a terrible experience with their customer care. A pleasant lady called me back later. They sorted the problem, my wallet received the gift card amount.
I don't really recommend these type of cards. Better to give the person you are gifting cash. They are free to save, or spend where they choose.
These cards lock you in to limited brands and they EXPIRE.
When they expire you lose the money.
You feel the pressure to spend, even if you don't need to.

Being a person who loves to be gifted cash this service was quite spot on I got a gift and I used it online - you can redeem your voucher either online or in store.
It was a touchless and very efficient method of utilising the money gifted to me I would absolutely use this to gift someone from now on

I bought vouchers worth 2500 AED from yougotagift upon instructions from a phishing activity. My email had been hacked. When I informed my bank, they approached yougotagift and explained the case. The company immediately cancelled my order and refunded my money, with an email confirmation to me. All this without me even writing to them. Shannon, the compliance manager, called me up personally to assure that my money has been refunded and necessary steps have been taken. I am extremely grateful for their quick action. Not many companies out there give you a full refund, but this company did-proactively and promptly. I am grateful and appreciative and will definitely make future transactions from them. Thank you!

I have a YouGotaGift voucher that is valid until Sept 2020. However, their app says it is invalid. Unable to get a response either by telephone or by email. Have they closed shop and left customers in the lurch?

Un redeemed vouchers suddenly disappeared from the you got a gift app, and customer service not helping or no support from them.

I tied their online chat assistance as well as their landline no, but no response.

Really, really convenient to purchase gift vouchers online via their website, especially when you are out of time and ideas to go shopping and looking for yourself! Equally convenient for the receiver as well. They have various stores to choose from, including mall gift cards. And they also have like a common gift card which receiver can use to spend at any of their partnered stores. The look of the the e-gift is also nice, like a proper gift card.
