Chennai Darbar Restaurant

I definitely loved this small outlet. Cheap but good food. Good taste. And to be honest it was difficult to get south indian dishes out here but this restaurant was really good. I would definitely recommend a visit to this small sweet spot for your south indian cravings in Emirates. I didn't take any photos but do not worry it's the same as other people's photos along with the menu. I wouldn't dare say it's the best but no problem in getting good but not so expensive food.

One star only because they were serving South Indian breakfast.
Taste - Terrible
Pongal tastes only of rice. Dosa was ok. Sambhar tastes like Dal. Chutney without coconut only chickpea. Red chutney turned bad (old and fermented).

Avoid at all cost for breakfast.

Best place for south Indian food. We have tried dosa, onion dosa and puri. Worth to try and cost also less. Masala chai?

Not so great food, can try there South Indian dishes. The condiments doesn’t taste authentic. Poor hygiene, not so good vibes in the restaurant

Good south Indian food. Also have a large menu. Been there twice. I find the chutneys and sambar condiments is not upto the mark for a south Indian hotel.
Have to improve in the cleanliness aspect of the place
Onion othappam is a good try. But dont expect feelings in the sambar and chutney.
My colleague brought vada from here. It was so good.

The food was just okay, it was not too good and not too bad as well. I had Chicken Biryani and it was average.

Come have your food quietly and go. It’s not a place to relish food for sure. Just satisfy yourself if you don’t find food anywhere else that’s all.
Omlettes and Puri Bhaji and Masala Dosa and similar.
4 closely packed tables and quick food served.
Better not to talk about taste. It’s just a place to come over if you don’t find food elsewhere first for examples early mornings or fridays etc.

Not good, Ordered Mutton masala, worst taste and old mutton. Thrown to garbage. For which they charged 16 AED.
Food is necessity to all, so requesting management to serve some
quality food.

Food quantity not worth selling g dum mutton biriyani for 18 dhs only 2 small pieces of mutton.
Food taste was not that much quality.

Disappointed when they said only take away is available. You can only take parcel here.the supplier guy told us that Dine in is cancelled there, you can only take parcel. We wer really damn hungry in the afternoon?

Had keema paratha and dosa did not likit it one bit.

Average taste for a decent price but the physical location of the shop needs a lot of improvement and esp.the air conditioner wasn't working properly here ‍️

I went few times 1 st time I had fried rice, the taste was so good, 2 nd time I had dosa.the way they served was mind-blowing

Very good food.i usually have breakfast and dinner from here.mostly Dosa and idily are really good. Chutney is typical Tamil Nadu style and sambar is also average not so good not so bad. Good food but chattny bad. Rate little high.but good at fujaira uae
