If you want to eat here you better bring your own knife, they are selling one knife for Dhs45.

Lovely fresh oysters at a reasonable price. There was a bbq table with a sun umbrella beside the sea which was nice. I feel this area has much more potential if it was developed nice and neatly.

We visited the Dibba Bay Oyster Farm last saturday (Feb 4th at about 3 or 4pm) and purchased half a dozen to eat on site and another douzen to take away. The half dozen was served open and packed (pretty much dry oysters with no sea water, i.e. Garant of fresheness) and had made my wife and daughter sick in the early evening upon our arrival in Dubai. We believe the oysters in the half dozen were not fresh and were dead way before. Fortunately my father and mother in law managed not to get sick from it. I would recommend for onsite "degustation" to haver the oysters opened in front of customers. I would not recommend anyone to eat already open oysters unless you are sitting in a restaurant. A dead oysters is essentially poison. I would not recommend your farm to anyone I know.

On the other hand the dozen taken home was fresh, good, closed, alive and full of sea water as it should be.

Unfortunately no place really to eat the oysters on-site except for this umbrella. But the oysters are awesome and fresh, staff is nice too!

The oyster farm shop was open and we were able to buy few packages of fresh oysters. They have two places in Dubai where you can also eat them. We also visited the Al Badiya mosque which is the oldest mosque in the UAE

I am not an Oyster connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, and would not be able to sustain a conversation about them more than I could do discussing Beethoven’s Unvollendete (“they say it ain’t finished”), but I do know what I like. And these are wonderful oysters, directly sold at the site from where they are harvested. Very fresh, very meaty and very tasty. They come packed in an aluminum freeze bag, along with some cooling elements, so you also have some time to get home and keep them alive. And full disclosure: no, I don’t have any shares in Dibba Bay Oysters. They’re simply just very good oysters.
