The malay chef went to DUBAI.so now is running by Philippinese.so if you know well about the real Malay and Singapore food.here is no longer a good option.

Authentic Chinese food. You can eat in or have it delivered. You will not be disappointed either way.

They serve Singapore/Malaysian dishes, and of course as Indonesians, we feel like we are home. Their nasi goreng kampung is very tasty and spicy. We also ordered sambal squid, cabbage with dried shrimp and pepper chicken. All of them are tasty. It is definitely worth a revisit

We had dinner here around 8pm, and were the only guests. The restaurant has this vibe not unlike some rural, out of the way joints I'd come across from my home country (also, one I wouldn't take my family to).

There was loud, blaring Tagalog from the TV in the corner, and offerings included items like adobo and bulalo. Like some restaurants I've seen in my time here, they've started leaning away from their original offerings to try and net from a wider customer base. You do what you can to survive, right? Not that many Malaysians/Singaporeans/Chinese are here in Fujairah anyhoos.

The waiter was slow to take our order, in spite of what I said earlier about us being the only guests. I saw her taking orders from the phone, and rather than waiting to get screwed with delayed food I just gave her an earful about how we're here now and my food had better come first, ahead of the phone-ins.

She made good on that. 15 minutes in, all the food (3 dishes) came at the same time.
I'm sure having three cooks (I counted them while they were sitting around watching the TV) helped.

Now, the food. Overall, the salt and umami was about there, but the spice levels have been toned down greatly. Again, likely to cater to regional palates.

The nasi goreng kampung had soy sauce in it, and was missing the cili padi. So, not very kampung. But the taste was okay.

As for the fried stuff, they cut the protein with more flour than they should. The calamari was still okay (it was in fact the best of the three), but my shrimp omelette should be renamed to "bread with little shrimp chunks fried in egg batter". I don't expect ANY flour in my omelette to he honest. Still, for the prices they ask, can't complain too much. Here in the the UAE if you pay a lot, you may be ripped off, but if you're paying less.you're pretty much getting what you paid for, no more.

I'm still intrigued by the menu, but the dine-in experience is terrible (does explain why we're the only guests). Might phone in an order next time I'm around.

This afternoon we dined at this modest but homely place serving authentic Malaysian and Chinese cuisine.
The food tasted great and the prices were reasonable. Owners are very courteous and hospitable.
When giving your order please specify to the host whether you want authentic spicy or toned down version of the dish.

We have been coming to the Oriental for many years and never had a dish that disappointed - always fresh, well-cooked, tasty dishes. A simple place in a little alley but it's clean and has friendly service. Quite cheap as well. One of our highlights when we visit Fujairah.

The place is so hard to find, ambiance is not as expected. Bad experience, the waitress is so rude. I read some of the reviews about how delicious the food is, but to our experience, we only had the hotpot and fried rice, it doesn’t taste good.

A very authentic Singaporean and Malaysian restaurant in Fujairah, surprisingly.

The food is very lovely and at a really affordable price. 4 of us ordered 9 dishes and just around AED 250, and most of the dishes we ordered were with meat. And we enjoyed it a lot.

Some friends recommended steam fish, and other dishes as well will visit again.

A worth visit restaurant, especially when going hiking/camping around Sharjah/Fujairah.

Very difficult to locate this place. In a bit of a nook at the side of the building so be sure to park on the service road and walk inside.

It's a small place. Seems to be able to accommodate just a few people at a time. Ambience is nothing to write home about but the food more than makes up for it. Singaporean and Malay dishes we tried were outstanding. Very well priced as well.

The parking can be tricky but if you see a parking space park with no hesitation.

Enjoyed the food here especially the salted egg squid.if you looking for something different and something asian cuisine this is the best place is a bit hard to find because it is located in between the buildings.

Reasonable price and food portions. Read and heard about good comments but after trying, food tastes was not as I expected good, too salty.

Don't be fooled by this restaurant's humble size or decor. The food is actually quite good! Try the salted egg crab-you will not be disappointed. It is crispy and tastes perfect!

Cozy restaurant that serves a variety of Chinese cuisine. Tasty food and quite original. I really enjoyed the Chinese tea in a can, very refreshing and goes very well with the meals. Seems they accept only cash payments, be sure to go with enough cash. Friendly staff and great customer service.

Loads of dishes to chose from, quick service and excellent food, mostly to take away the restaurant itself is very small. Excellent food, good service and value for money. Not a posh restaurant but they know their food. To a friend who had never eaten Asian food but they really enjoyed it.

Found this restaurant almost by accident, do not be put off by it's basic decor, serves the best Asian food ever! Have eaten here quite often and have yet to be disappointed. Choice of dishes amazing, everything fresh and nicely presented, staff pleasant and welcoming.

Went with my Singaporean girlfriend and her parents, and they attested to the authenticity of the place. Real Singaporean food, fresh ingredients, expert Malaysian chefs. Delicious from beginning to end. Decoration could use a spruce-up but overall extremely good value for money. Will return again when I find myself in Fujairah!

Good authentic Chinese food. There is a waiting time of 20 - 45 minutes depending on your order. We went on a weekend and maybe that was a weekend rush. But seems that they are busy most of the evenings. Good friendly service. Can be a bit noisy sometimes as big groups of kabayans come to this place. M must try if you are in FUJAIRAH and like Chinese food. Not many choices for vegetarians.

The best place to eat out in Fujairah. Very high quality of food and service in a comfortable, homey environment.

Loved this place. I have no idea why any of the other reviewers would mark this place as less than 5 stars. Yes, there isn't much of a view and it is tucked away on the side of a non descript building, but that just adds to the character of this restaurant.

It reminds me of places in Malaysia and Singapore, existing in nooks and crannies everywhere. The main reason to go here is the FOOD! Quality is up there with some of the better restaurants. The decor is not amazing but I'm not going for the decor. The chairs and tables are comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly and very accommodating of large groups and children. The food comes out fresh, hot and quick. I recommend the tom yam soup, it was some if the best tom yam I have ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable and you will leave feeling well looked after and satiated.

For oriental, Malaysian and Singaporean food this is the place to go in Fujairah and I hope they go from strength to strength. Another great thing is hat if they don't have a particular drink in their chiller, they do not mind if you bring your own and there are plenty of little mini supermarkets all over the place.

Only Chinese nice restaurant in the area, cook is from Malaysia Ipoh. Food standard is good consider in this place where there not much Chinese people.

Amazing food.i don't know if the chefs are been hired from heaven.that delicious the food are.came from dubai for a getaway and oriental made our night with mouth watering dishes.small place.food a bit late.but you won't regret.thumbs up to perlie and team.

One of my Favorite family restaurants, they make everything fresh.typical Singaporean and Thai food. They also deliver.

Butter prawn and salted egg camalari is recommended. Might need to ask for less salt, l. Overall nice restaurant

The food here is decent, some dishes being not as nice as others. Overall I can say I have enjoyed this restaurant's food and I have been disappointed as well. However I recommend the Beef noodles if you decide to eat there.
