We first visited this place in 2020 and our experience was amazing. However it seems that the place has become too popular and they are not able to manage their service. Food quality is not worth the price you pay. Service is slow- took them over 1 hour to get the food that too after constant reminders. The view is amazing, but not at the cost of the food you have to pay. It is disappointing since you spend 2 hours to drive to this place and the food and service is not up to the mark.

I would say I went there for views and was not expecting much from food but the food and service were great as well.
Thanks for Zeeshan/Ehsan from Sri Lanka who was so accommodating and our server as well. I ordered Keto breakfast and he was nice enough to swap beef and veil options to other stuff for me. My husband has acai bowl. His orange carrot juice was but mine was a bit too sour for me. I had tropical smoothie I guess one with mango pineapple and citrus. I wanted to order cheesecake as well but I was so full. Their water bottles are so cute. Only bad thing was pungent smell before entering the area I guess related to washrooms

1484 by Puro in Ras Al Khaimah is the highest restaurant in UAE and offers spectacular views of the Jebel Jais mountains.

Service is bad, it took long time to serve the food and it was cold. The place is small and tight.

I loved everything about this place. The location, the view, the vibe, the staff, the food, all on top notch levels. The korean chicken is one of the bests I've ever had. Highly recommend!

We honestly could not believe how good this place was for a meal, shame it’s a 2 hour drive for us or we would be here more regularly. Exceptional service, by every staff member we encountered, and the food was superb. Highly recommend.

We had a great time dining here at 1484 by puro, the food are worth the price and super tasty! And also Thank you OLiver! Dont change how you entertain and serve your guests, we loved your service!

You have to book in advance or have an activity reserved otherwise you can't come up!

The restaurant is not very big the food is good.
They have a nice terrace and nice drinks.

You can also book a zip line here.

There is a parking lot not covered. You can go up stairs from here to the highest point. It's a fun experience.

The service is good.

Overall experience was ok. The view, Ambience and atmosphere is great. Food is ok. We ordered a Verdue Pizza with vegetable topping.whole pizza was soggy and literally water was dripping. Never had such pizza anywhere. Service was also not good.

Came to this restaurant more than 8 times before 2023. Thisnwas my firstntrip in 2023.
Their food has dropped to such a low quality that the cafateria in ras al khaimah tastes better. Their service is late and ignores requests. The place is jam packed with people walking into and out of the restaurants who have no bookings and arent sitting to eat because theres no one at the door reciving customers. The most horrible experiemce ive had in a uae restaurant to date never coming back here again

It is a couple of hours from Dubai & has a great outdoor section, overlooking the mountains. Sit here chatting with friends & the experience becomes even more enjoyable. Reservation recommend. A few places nearby to explore & enjoy. A great day trip from Dubai.

Advance bookings are required, luckily we got the chance to dine-in without any prior bookings
No doubt the view, atmosphere around is magnificent

Got butterchicken and mixed Sauce penne paste, both the main course items were delicious

- the rice was abit dry, but other than that everything was perfect.
- Reasonable pricing around 6bd to 7bd per dish.
Would definitely visit again to try other items and desserts.

The view is marvelous, service is good and the food is very delicious except the burger buns which are hard

I honestly expected a better experience, yes the food was delicious, but reservations weren’t taken into consideration we still had to wait decor is very average and old, they need to invest in that.

It was 7 degrees. Spectacular view and a really hearty breakfast? We absolutely loved this place and will be back for sure!

We were warmly welcomed by Berlin and asked for our preferred seats. She sweetly warned us that they can’t open umbrellas due to strong winds. Then, we were welcome by perky Oliver. He was funny, very attentive and patient in taking our orders. What we also appreciate is that he has voluntarily offered info on sleder and zipline. What a great morning and vibe with the awesome staff!

The food was amazing and the views there stunning, it was 100% worth driving there from Dubai. I think that if you are going to the mountains you should defiantly visit this place.

To entrance the area you will need to pass the security post so you need to have reservation before to come there. Area obviously is very beautiful and high top of mountains landscapes, service is very fast and good, staff friendly and professional. Food is good 8/10, also there is minimum spending 100ead per person

Really lovely. Quite expensive for RAK but it was nice overall. The music was a little too loud for being sat inside but it was probably perfect for being on the terrace.

I called ahead and asked if I could just show up for a coffee since I didn’t want breakfast or lunch. The guy over the phone said yes- you can sit in the lounge next to the restaurant which doesn’t require any reservation. Show up to the gate and the guard won’t let us in without a reservation. The guy I spoke to earlier was unreachable. Couple of calls later we are finally allowed up- which boggles the mind because we are paying them, not the other way around!
Finally make it up to find that the lounge staff has closed for lunch so we can’t sit there. Apparently it’s only ONE guy for the entire lounge which btw was EMPTY. Spoke to one of the hosts who said I could take away from the restaurant and have it at the lounge but guess what? That wasn’t an option AT ALL! The hostess was looking all confused at who would suggest something like that and basically gave me a table on the balcony- in the sun without an umbrella - but finally a table after going around in circles for 30minutes.
Menu is very unimpressive and expensive for no reason. There is nothing special or standout about it.
Ordered couple of mock tails- the 1484 view was filled only half way, no garnish. Not really what you’d expect for 40dhs!
Service was ok except for the people in charge who don’t know what they are doing.
Please save your money and check out one of the many food trucks on the way up/down the mountain.

It would have helped to mention that it needs reservation! We drove all the way there without knowing that! Thanks a lot.

Lovely small restaurant with fantastic views. Booking is essential. Good food and wonderfully helpful staff. Right next to the toboggan.

Its one of the best place to see clouds, different whether feeling like 0-5 degree temperature and Food is delicious love it

Amazing view, great staff, honestly the service here is a 10 out of 10, food came out on time, it was delicious! Totally worth every penny.
N. B you do need to have a reservation before entering but its completely fine as its really easy to make reservations here.

Good quality food with a stellar view over the mountains of rak. Can’t beat it for pre or post the zip line experience, or around a hike!

The place is amazing, but smaller then I imagine. The view is stunning. Food was tasty, so worth the way till there. Make sure you have a reservation before you go, otherwise you can't go up.

Beautiful and peaceful restaurant (weekday morning). They serve quality food, although it's not outstandingly tasty. I would recommend this place simply because there isn't much around, and the quality is good. If you go on the zipline, there's a discount at the restaurant.

I made a reservation, however few hours later I had to move it by 2 hours earlier and I emailed the reservations to assist me with that. Six hours later after not receiving any response I called them and a very unfriendly tone said the reservation has already been amended. Not sure why they couldn’t just reply my email, but this phone call and the attitude of staff didn’t give me a good impression.
On the day of the reservation we drove 2,5 hours from Dubai, were very much looking forward to having our lunch with the stunning view, however upon arrival we didn’t feel welcome, the staff couldn’t even smile at us. They sat us at a table, gave us the menus (the menus definitely require replacement as they look very old and used). I had one particular dish that I wanted, but it wasn’t available that day. So we ordered a soup, a salad and a pizza. They served the soup and the pizza, and they totally forgot to bring the salad. So we finished the food and sat with dirty dishes in front of us for 15 minutes until someone finally came to clear them. I understand if such service was extended to all guests, but no - for example the two tables next to us were carefully attended to, a server constantly checking on them, clearing the dishes, bring the food fast…
We didn’t complain as we didn’t want to make our day worse, I just simply asked to remove the salad from the bill. The manager/supervisor was kind enough to give us 20% discount off the bill, but honestly it didn’t make our experience better. It’s such a shame to drive so far to get such service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

1484 By Puro has been awarded the highest restaurant in the UAE. It's around 2 hour drive from Dubai. The views from the restaurant are just splendid. Reservations are required to visit the restaurant. Food options are limited and food taste is also average. Basically it's a one time experience to indulge yourself in the beauty of nature. Must visit place if you are in Ras al Khaimah. Recommended from @WaSalicious Food and Travel.

The highest restaurant in the UAE, 1484 By Puro, impressed us this afternoon. Situated 1484 m above sea level, this restaurant has great food.

Visiting by reservation only. And we booked almost a month in advance because weekends are very busy. You even need to tell the person while reserving, what your car plate number is because the restaurant is in a restricted area and there is checking before we can enter the motor vehicle in the area.

I even saw a Tesla electric car charger next to the restaurant.

Views are beautiful but the drive is over an hour from Ras Al Khaimah city eventhough 1484 by Puro is only about 25 km away from RAK city.

There is a minimum spend of AED 100 per person so make sure you prepare to have a full meal at the restaurant.

We finished our late lunch with some coffee. My wife and mom had Lattes but my brother and me had some Columbian filtered coffee. Dad was happy overseeing and my daughter had the brownie dessert that I also tasted:)

1484 By Puro is the highest restaurant in the UAE. It is named according to its height above sea level – 1,484 meters. This unique restaurant boasts a magnificent panorama view of Jebel Jais. The restaurant features a sleek, modern interior and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Hajar mountains. They have pretty good options in their breakfast menu to all day menu. Honestly, this restaurant is just worth visiting for the stunning view from the mountains.

Surprised by the quality and variety of the food! The service is impeccable and the view is something unique! Make sure to reserve in advance to enjoy this

Absolutely loved lunch/dinner at this restaurant! The ciew is stunning, the service is very wonderful and the food delicious. We had a pasta dish and the calamari fritti which were great.

Fancy place with amazing view, booking is a must to get a gate pass! Service is good but I believe they are understaffed staff were friendly and pleasant, food was good but not excellent, price per portion is ok $$$$

The place is nice and the food is good. The only reason I am giving this place one star is because I asked for an outdoor shaded table for the view and they were all equipped at the time therefore, I requested to be moved once a table get available since I had 30 minutes until lunch menu can be served at 12 noon. However. During the waiting time couple table got free but were given to new guests by the floor supervisor. The waitresses was really nice and manager came out with an apology and offered a complementary coffee and cake at end of my meal which was much appreciated even though I have decided it since we had our coffee on our waiting time for lunch. I do hope this won’t happen to anyone else. Thanks

We visited twice for a sunset dinner and had a fantastic experience. Today we went up early morning and enjoyed a lovely breakfast at this magical place. The service remains impeccable, friendly and efficient. The venue is stunning, the quality of food and beverages perfect. A true gem in RAK

A nice, well maintained and organized place to relax, unwind and eat. Suitably priced and available on booking only. A must visit in winters

Great outdoor views and some truly memorable photos following our visit in early February 2022. Nice and flavoursome food menu, good range of drinks available and, of course, an awesome view of the mountainous landscape made this an unforgettable experience overall. Hope to return when I’m next in Dubai.

First and foremost, reserve a table online or a guard will not let you in to reach the top (unless you're going for the zip line and/or Jais sledder, in which case I'm not sure if you need a reservation for Jais Adventure Park).
The service was excellent, and the entire staff was attentive and friendly.
The food was also superb. We ordered a Caesar salad and chicken and mushroom penne with pink source, which were both delicious! The portions were also generous. We certainly did not go hungry.
The restaurant has breathtaking views. It can, however, be very windy, so bring a light jacket/blazer with you.
I intend to go back there soon to enjoy the views and food once more.

A lot of places that have a breathtaking view like Puro, only take advantage of that and compromise on food, quality and service. It's definitely not the case with Puro. Their menu offers variety and good taste. The service is really good and people are polite and friendly. I like also that they are strict with the reservations in order not to get overcrowded.
Overall amazing experience!
