Al Marjan Restaurant

This restaurant was too much terrible service.
Especially, supervisor's attitude is too rude. (Mr? I don't no his name)

God, I have never seen such a terrible canteen in 5 stars.
You really only come to get something to eat.
At the hotel, 98% of the guests are families with children. The children have nothing to eat at all. There are no unspiced sausages for breakfast. For lunch, puree soup that makes you sick. And stuff like that.
There was a Thai menu here the other day. So they put noodles in soy sauce on the children's table, like Pad Thai

Look, most children only eat pizza.

No seafood, they are for a fee

In short, complete trash

I recently ate at this restaurant and I can honestly say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The buffet was extremely limited and didn't cater to any different cultures, so if you're looking for variety, you're out of luck. The atmosphere was smelly, and the kids were allowed to serve themselves, leading to the food on the buffet being all messy and inedible. I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

A lovely large indoor and outdoor dining space. Many different things to eat at the buffet. A high standard of cleanliess and service from all staff. We were very impressed by the efficiency of all staff.

A good selection of savoury and dessert foods along with an entire selection of drinks. Only negative comment would be that my husband and I are vegetarian and our breakfast was made using the same pans as non veg dishes. Gloves etc were not changed and there were slices of ham placed on the cheese that was used in our omelettes for morning breakfasts. Unsure if it's the culture in Dubai but for tourists it might be worth enhancing care with dietary requirements at least for veg/non veg visitors.

Special shout outs to Rahman, Krishna, Ramsha, Rohit and Samit who had many enjoyable conversations with us over the days of our stay and made us feel incredibly welcome every morning and also throughout the day whenever we bumped into them.

Very limited variety and it should be much more better especially when it is located in DoubleTree 5 star hotel.

Bad experience with this place, first time I heard about buffet and the water included. The water was one glass only!
Variety of food is strange comparing to other open buffet, the only desrve dish was the beef steak, others was like pasta, pizza and white rise!

Deserts section, 3 types of cake and fruits.

The one star out of 1 star is for the waiters being very polite. Have been to different hiltons at different parts of the world, the food wasn't actually hilton's category which i used to have. They said because of theme night, different menue, didn't even see a single cm of seafood from international night, umm ali served 2 straight ahead nights, you can't call it a variety, specially you don't serve 2 same dishes straight ahead, same as potatoes, just sliced and rounded, even herbs were missing from those potatoes, at the end, had to order food from outside, even the kids didn't enjoy the food, in my view, the restaurant would be probably good for those who enjoy european taste probably, later on saw few other feedbacks, regarding the food. I'd never come again to this restaurant even if someone offers me a free food.
We stayed at the hotel, so during meal time, we had to manage on salad, because i couldn't find anything amazing from such a 5 star hotel restaurant. We weren't expecting anything specifically, because we have eaten and tasted more than 50 cuisines,

Al marjan restaurant is in side the double tree Hilton hotel at Al marjan island very good restaurant and good food with kind waters. We went there for dine in.

For such a high price (145 Aed), I honestly believe that the buffet should be way richer with more varieties. The service was good and the view was great.

Excellent service from Sam and Djosa. The food is exquisite, great winter ambience especially when dining outside, and most of the staff are very accomodating. Would highly recommend to visit this place again and eat away the buffet til you drop! Kidding. Live well. Eat well only at Marjan Restaurant. Peace.

Very upset and will never visit you again, using entertainer for buffet doesn't mean we are bad people or thieves, after eat i want to change the table to another table near the pool and see a rude lady from the staff ran after me asking for the bill in very rude shocking way!

Some of your staff behaviour need to be checked and enhanced.

Al Marjan restaurant friendly but the food was good not perfect why the steaks are okay and small portions very well done and pasta not that much good they don’t know how to make it good
The sweets very good for the cost 139aed with soft drinks and 129aed without drinks.

One star! We came from Dubai to try it out. And we literally had stomachache while eating. It was either the Tabouleh or the Hummus as they both tasted stale. There is literally just one fish dish that tasted very fishy. As a person who avoids dairy, meat and chicken! I found very few options to try and I ended up with pain! Not recommended for those who can recognise the taste of good food.

The buffet is very limited.

I don't recommendit at all!

Very disappointing! Very limited options and the available food taste so plainly… adding salt to the wound; they refused my kind request to takeaway only a small portion of vegetables just to consume it with the my medicine (i take the pill in a timely manner with food, as i am pregnant). It was so unthoughtful and inconsiderate!
Please save your money!

The food was amazing selections but they didn't respect the Entertainer voucher even though the voucher is legit and given with their permission. There is no explanation on the app stating that vouchers are not accepted on holidays. Legally DoubleTree is bound by this or should have it stated on the ENTERTAINER app.

It’s an all-inclusive buffet restaurant, so you need to set right expectations in terms of variety and quality. I always found something vegan but in general it’s not made for vegan. However, the chefs are very nice and willing to accommodate individual wishes based on your dietary needs. This deserves 5 stars in my mind although the standard buffet is so so, as you would expect from an all-inclusive place.
