Bizarre scam run by these people in this day and age.
So a few days ago we headed to a wedding, they had a Photo Booth as any other spot would.
The ladies from the spot kept insisting on everyone to take pictures, took a million, and then asked to confirm which two you’d like printed.
We had a set of 3 in total.
Before the wedding ends they come to us with the printed version. Then we were asked to pay for it. Appalling, but ok?
50 dhs per 2 photos apparently, all of a sudden we are apparently set to pay 150 dhs.
You get the option to say no, because you didn’t know about the cost. Right?
Nope, the camera woman then went on a sob story of because they’re already printed this would be coming out of her own pocket. All of a sudden it’s like we are experiencing a scam from the streets of Paris.
Mom being soft and just wanting the whole debacle to end agreed. Especially after we were PROMISED every single picture taken, not only the ones printed, would be shared digitally with us.
Next day as promised they sent the photos, but none of mine.
Apparently the memory card didn’t have them anymore.
I worked in the industry. You don’t delete pictures next day whatsoever.
So yeah, this whole scam thing definitely warrants for a one star. Not the way business is done
