I would like to thank the entire Canary Vet team for saving our rescue, Johny!

I'd like to share a bit about his journey.
We found him on November 2nd next to a grocery store in RAK Al Riffa. I brought him to Canary Vet as I had previously taken my own cat there to see Dr. Jimmy and had a good experience. He helped my cat with eat mite treatment, eye infection. Suggested the right food for his weight control.
That day, when we brought Johny, Dr. Yousef was working and he began Johnny's treatment from day one.
Dr.Yousef is very kind and caring, doing his best to save Johnny's leg. Apart from the leg issue, Johnny had anemia, dehydration, blood parasites, and ear mites. Dr. Yousef went step by step with the treatment, always prescribed the right medicine,successfully performing a complicated surgery to amputate Johnny's damaged leg's part, which was necessary to avoid complications. Thankfully, Johnny's leg was saved, and now he is healthy and happy! His anemia and parasites are gone, and he has gained healthy weight and can even jump now.
Dr. Jimmy was also involved in his treatment, for which I am very thankful. He successfully performed Johnny's neutering surgery and provided great advices regarding his treatment when Dr. Yousef wasn't available. He also suggested a good place for an X-ray. Thank you very much!

I would also like to thank the nurses, Amir who mostly was helping with Johny and all others who were very helpful and supportive ,as well as the entire team of receptionists!

Canary Pet Hub has the greatest deal on cats full grooming package and the best quality service. The store is massive, clean, organised and not to mention how incredibly impressed I am with my cats haircut. I got it done by Mr. Charles and it is hands down the best she's ever looked. They are very gentle with the pets and love them too.

It is always our choice for grooming service for small dog for the following reasons - 1) price is fair, much lower than other neighboring petshop 2) they always try their best to accommodate customers, though I came walk in one time without prior appointment just to try my luck, but the groomer accepted us 3) they can keep your pet for few hours after grooming so you do not need to rush back to collect them

My cat was a happy cat until I brought him here. We monthly washed and cut his nails here but they said we need to subdue him with medication, to which I foolishly agreed. My cat came home barely moving, called them and they said it was normal. Twelve hours and he should be back to normal. The next morning I woke up to him locked in a bathroom. Maids said he had horrible diarrhea, went to check on him and he was sitting in a corner hissing at me. I took him to Rak veterinary center to which they responded we need to give him a shot immediately and so they did, he was then back to normal. Don’t take your cats here unless you want to shed tears and experience fear

Best Groomers In RAK

I always take my havanese here at Canary Pet Hub, RAK for grooming. I haven't tried their vet but they're my favourite place for grooming and here's why: —
They are literally the only place in Ras Al Khaimah that actually does grooming right! They actually clean off all the debris and remove all the stains. They clean up all the mats without shaving your dog to no fur at all. Not only that, the haircuts they do for the dogs are actually adorable! The staff are so friendly and nice! They took great care of my dog. The prices are also acceptable and average, very worth it for the work they do on the pets! I only ask of the place to make a photoshoot area with nice spotlights and pretty colours so we can take pretty photos of the grooming once it's done!

The people working here are too pet friendly. The ambience and the customer service was perfectly good.

However, I wouldn’t recommend you bring your pet for any treatments!
My cat was suffering from urinary retention, the doctor was just feeling him from outside and telling me the bladder is empty and the colon seems fine.later on before I leave i decided to grab a treat for my cat, suddenly my cat splashed blood all over the area, the DR came took a sample and viewed over a microscope only!

Then he prescribed some medications directly! He didn’t bother to do some blood tests or ultrasound to check!
Took my cat to another vet, he had a chronic urinary retention that caused severe inflammation and formation of crystals and now being treated.

Never coming back to this place again.

The two stars are for the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff. I was very unhappy with the grooming and could not recommend. Very unhappy with the way my cat was handled and cancelled an appointment for a second cat.

I called them at 4: 30 today to take a appointment for my cat and they tell me that they are free until 5: 00 and i take a appointment at 5: 00 when i reach their at 5: 05 there was 2 dogs for washing and grooming and i wait for 20m and still washing and they will take extra 40m for drying when i go back to the counter there was a girl named kaay from (Philippines) when i asked her why did you give me a appointment at 5: 00 and there is another appointment she didn’t answered me she only keep laughing on me and only says ok and she didn’t even say sorry for that It was a very bad behavior from her.

Service are great and the doctor professionally handling the pet, variety of food and toy options, the place is comfy and clean and smell good

Largest pet center here in Rak! Very big place where you can get anything for your pets (birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, fishes, etc…) ok guys you all need to check it out l, I think it’s the best have seen so far. For staffs, they are so amazing because they have a good customer relationship.thumbs up for them.

The groomer was so nice and sweet with my birds as he got their nails filed. And there is a various types of food and toys for most animals. Definitely recommend it.

The biggest pet shop i’ve seen so far.they have everything for all kind of pets! Very clean, well organized and great prices!
