I was here for a school trip not too long ago and Max was the best out of all the staff! His friendliness and commitment was fantastic! I would love to go again soon to make more fun memories.
Excellent. Expect, clean tidy and well organised. Our guide, Sam was from the UK. He was extremely knowledgable and professional and a great guy! Other guides which joined in the fun were also very positive people who are first and foremost adventurers themselves.
We took the family fun package which is perfect for 4-10 year olds, because you don't leave the camp.
They run school sessions through out the week so are always busy and well prepared.
Food was decent but do not expect a gastronomic experience. Food is a plus. Bring your own if you are fussy.
The only thing you need is sleeping bags and flashlights. Do not over pack. My wife took everything and the kitchen sink and we needed none of it.
Showers and toilets are clean and are appropriately assigned to each family for COVID -19.
There is a 2.4 km road to the camp which is a gravel track. We took a Tesla and it was doable but very slow so took an extra 20 mins to get there.
Next time we will do the more adventurous things such as the Via Ferrata and kayaking.
Alcohol is allowed.
Take binoculars if you like to star watch!
Only minor minor criticism is that they could have left much more wood to burn on the fire at night. Otherwise a perfect cheap getaway for a family.
All the reviews i read about this place are done in the year 2020. Maybe they were new at the time but I just went with my school for two nights and three days. Yes the activities are very well lead. However the place is horrifying. If you are looking for an adventure and roughing it with friends please go but do not take young kids. They dont serve edible food none of the 140 kids who went ate much for three days and there are rats at night which is dangerous they could get into tents and bite the children. So please keep children away. It is unhealthy and not child friendly. The tents and mattresses are very old dirty and not at all for children.
Had a great experience with this company rock climbing. The guide (Suman) was great, showed us several different routes with varying and appropriate levels of difficulty for us. Highly recommend if you’re looking for outdoor activities in UAE!
Disappointment. I do understand private business and maybe their services are good, but to forbid people to enter the whole wadi! - that's cruel. We were told it's private wadi, local people do not let anyone to enter it unless you pay money. I get it - private business invest a lot in their facilities and that's ok, but to chase away people who like to hike and walk on their own - it's unheard.
We had a company team building event last weekend at Challenging Adventure. The instructors were knowledgeable and very helpful and everyone had a great time.and a few laughs! Would definitely recommend!
It has a lot of exciting and outstanding activities and the people are very kind and helpful! And even the food is good! I would love it if other people would come here
It's amazing my school went camping for three days and they were the best three days of my entire life.the staff are soo professional and skilled and the food is very good we went on a via ferata and went to the Majlis and roasted some marshmallows and we went canoeing along with that we went hiking. We were very welcomed by reese, Les and Leo oh and suman as well so for that I would really like to thank them for that amazing stay and I would definitely want to go again.
Really unique and beneficial experience in an oasis-like camp/glampsetting surrounded by the mountains. Great active learning experiences for all ages with helpful staff, large comfortable tents, clean bathrooms and great food.
