Grand Restaurant

Little bit expensive and checken charcoal half cooked. Not good experience. Fly also roaming around the table.

We entered the restaurant with a lot of expectations, but reality was very different.i can only give 2 out of 5 stars based on mine and my friends' experience.

Manchow Soup
Mughali chicken
Mutton curry
Sheeri fish grill
Appam
Wheat Parotta.

These guys only look for money who has big orders when ordered online.they are not custom friendly very Choosy when it comes to order.very bad service pathetic service we have faced tonight when we had ordered on 6 Paratas. They said it will take hours to delivery home.why so this arrogance in service.if we had ordered more than 6 paratas they would have delivered in time this is the question to the public and owner of the restaurant.pathetic service tonight

I often ignore this place, never actually had tried it. But had an opportunity last week. This is now whole new management. The food is different, so is the menu. I tried the breakfast (was decent), parottas were mind-blowing.

This place is definitely going to my must-explore list.

My fav restaurant from ages. Living in RAK we knew only about Grand restaurant being the ome stop place for traditional Indian and Chinese cuisine. I always order their chicken biryani because its well prepared and each time you tell them your preferences to either make it spicy or extra spicy thats taken into consideration. Chicken in the biryani is very tender and boneless. Love the flavours blend. Must try

I had fond memories of visiting this place as a child with my father in the late 90s. And the food was absolutely delicious. The owner of the restaurant was really friendly and used to talk to everybody.

I had revisited this place as a young adult on January 2021 with great expectations but was terribly disappointed. It seemed the previous owner had passed away, so the restaurant was under new management. The quality of the food was abysmal.

The manager/cashier of the restaurant was really rude to us, when asked why they were charging for the mint tea (which was previously complementary). He threw back a few coins on our tables as though we were peasants.

At this rate the restaurant should close down soon.

And yes, please fire the cashier!

Didnt have a good experience.maybe it was timing issues when i visited them.i have ordered grilled chicken but i felt it was fried in fish oil.was very dry too.

The menu is a variety of mainly Indian and chinese style food, with a small selection of food of the meat/chicken and chips variety.there are also soups and salads. This restaurant is very cheap but the food is lovely and great for those on a budget or anyone who wants good food without paying over the odds. Service also excellent and with a smile.

Nice dishes.varieties of indian and arabic styles. Chicken kadai and pepper chicken.interior design were marvellous.we have got each couple of table with books to read while wairing for the food to come.

The food here is good.
