The trip to Jabal Al Jais is always gives me an excitement. The roads and facilities over there were very good. It will be better if they add more washrooms and water connectivity to that.

It’s amazing mountain in the United Arab Emirates and too much high you can see the clouds near to you when you go on the top it’s take 30 minutes with my car to go up but I enjoy it too much also they prepare it very well for example you can find washrooms and cafes on your road so you don’t have to care about anything just you need good car and pass the gas and I suggest to use 4 wheel drive better for this mountain, when you reach the top of the mountain you can see the amazing views there and too much places in the top floor for food and coffee and great idea for family and too much parking don’t worry about traffic and ticket very cheap it’s not expensive and you can enjoy diving in the sky it’s amazing to do that there don’t miss it

Great views! There are plenty of spots to park your car and take photos. They also have areas that allow you to camp up so take your bbq stuff and get cooking (but just dont have a fire on the ground as we got warned of a fine, but as long as you have proper bbq equipment). There is a zip line and toboggan at the top (whoch is meant to be great but I didnt get a chance to try) and they also have a small play area and coffee shops at the top viewing deck (there is a small 5aed charge to access these) …

Nice place to camping during winter. Food outlet and washroom facilities are available at the top. But better take own toilet tissues. Early morning sunrise is something not to miss

Jabal Jays is a mountain of the North-Western Hajar range in the Musandam Governorate of Oman and also in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The summit has an elevation of 1,934 m (6,345 ft). The summit is located on the Omani side, but a high point west of this peak is considered the highest point in the United Arab Emirates, at 1,892 m (6,207 ft) above sea level, and with around 10m of prominence. Since the summit is on the Omani side, Jebel Al Mebrah (also known as "Jabal Yibir"), at 1,727 m (5,666 ft), is the highest peak in the UAE, with significant prominence.

Best place for bbq especially in December. Highest point available in the UAE. Recommended for family and friends to experience the weather up there especially during the night time. There are food trucks available to try different items up there. There are ample parking spots to stop over and have your time spent. Bathrooms are available at every single stop. It also a go to place at any time of the year and is open 24 hours. You can take insta worthy pictures as well as do star gazing at night.

The Jebel Jais mountain peak in Ras Al Khaimah soars 1,934 metres above sea level. Scientists believe that the Hajar mountains were formed by a continental collision near the Arabian–Eurasian convergent plate boundary more than 70-million years ago.
It is 100 kilometres in width and 700 kilometres in length, straddles the two countries, and is the highest mountain range in the region.

The view is nice but it needs to improve the entertainment, nothing is there except for a public restroom.
You can’t even go on top of the mountain as is not allowed (unless you make a booking at the hotel)
It needs some playground for children, some restaurants where you can serve snacks/ drinks, needs to be added some activities to make the area more beautiful.

I was surprised to see see the mountain area in desert. I never expected it, but so happy to see a huge area of mountains in UAE.

We had gone there around 7 years back and, at that time it was just some terrain. We went till the top. Breath taking view. At that time you could only drive a 4*4 cars through there.

Must visit place with a good ride between the mountains. The best time is sunset. There are a few coffee shops and eatlets with a good view.

Best in winter, zip line is amazing, you can’t go to the top if you don’t have certain booking, good roads no need for 4*4, normal climate @ day time, very cold in night when have we visited last week, toilets and food trucks are available, better to go early if your planning for camping and barbecue otherwise you won’t get the place, view deck cost is around 5 aed. Do not litter anything to avoid fines.

The Highest Mountain in Ras Al khaimah. You have to drive around 1 houre for going on the Top of the mountain. This is Amazing place for outing. You can camping here You can BBQ here because many peoples was doing this. It means it’s best place to visit for bbq and camping.

The road trip was so nice and the way up is so full of beautiful scenery, you’ll enjoy very minute of it we got our own food and sat there on the side of the road watching sunset while eating. It’s totally another weather zone up there be sure to have your own jacket or sweater.

Great place to visit with your family and friends. We had our picnic there. Little hard for not experienced drivers tho

Excellent place to visit specifically during winters, you can do camping, BBQ etc try to reach the station 14, there are some Restaurants, for the washroom there is always a queue, minimum wait during day time is 30-45 minutes, in the night its gets less but the availability of water and the other staff also gets limited.
You can get the BBQ staff from the shops at the station like coal etc.

Wonderful place on top of the world, good drive to spend some time away rom the hustle bustle busy life of the city. Specially the nights right now is very very chilly and cold with awesome moments of clouds passing by. Enjoy But remember never ever throw even a tissue or a butt on the ground else be prepared to shell out min 500 as fines for littering. Definitely Hope this helps keep the place clean and save ur pocket.

One of the best tourist spot situated in the UAE very good for a weekend trip. The Govt has provided good road and facilities for the tourists.

Long drive fun in mountains.worlds longest zipline 1.7 miles long is in Jais mountains.
Camping and barbecue allowed clean and neat washrooms are in most of the resting areas.

What a place to visit, almost 27km mountain drive, several parking and site available for night camping, best time to visit in winter when the top temperature about 6 to 8 degrees

Amazing mountain range on the outskirts of Ras al khaimah. The drive to the top is pretty smooth and safe because of the well paved roads. In addition, they have added ziplines over the mountains top. A must experience if you are around.

We had a BBQ party with our family.
It was sunday and we were at the mountain from 9 to 12 and enjoyed a beautiful time of rain.

Amazing place. There are few restaurants and a playing area for kids. Adult entrance cost 5 AED. And kids enter for free.

Jab al jaise.an awesome place I visited in this recent days. I loved travelling to this place.the scenes we see are extremely mind blowing.pleasure to your eyes to see the structures of those mountains and scenes.highly recommend to travellers who visits UAE.it also has a rope line to take when you visit the top of mountain.it’s scary one but can try if you want a thrill in life.it’s a must visit.take a taxi or a car if you own and travel to the high.especially the roads are superb.bingo.

Unless a horrible Journey turns out to be something far better than that, On top of this, there is a lot of cold air that will carry the jacket out of the winter. When you go in noon time, you can enjoy the whole scene.

Best time to visit this place is December month. Night time temperature is very nice and complicated to survive. What a road by uae government.

Best tourist spot in the UAE

Jabal Al Jais barren hills at the Hormuz strait which is part of UAE and Oman. Though the hills not so high around 10 degrees drops at the top

Jabal jais actives in this season too. Very interesting place for camping & hiking must visit. For camping bring lots of water with you.very limited resources provided. Please avoid to throwing wast checking is strict there.

Nothing can beat nature.in soaring hot deserts you can find high altitude mountain.it can be amazing place for hikers but be safe and keep your gears with you.you can simply fall in love and feel peaceful the minute you start seeing the mountains. One of best tourist spot, camping, barbecue, hiking, zipline spot in UAE. Awesome driving, mountains, clean environment, amazing drive, have really amazing surroundings and sunset is worth watching. From one side of the mountain you can have full city and sea view. Ample parking available, municipality team is very active in there, dont try to barbecue direct on the land without any kits. Overall it's a full enjoyment package in this place. Recommended place to visit and have fun with your family and friends.
