Jabal Yanas Mountain

Watching a sunset from a mountaintop offers a truly extraordinary experience. The perspective from the mountaintop is unparalleled. One can behold the vast expanse stretching for miles in all directions, providing a glimpse of the immense landscape. Additionally, the view encompasses other mountains, valleys, and often, encounters with mountain animals like goats.

A good place for bonefire and camping at height. The sky and the city seems very beautiful at night.
The road leading to the top of Jabal is not yet constructed. Normal cars can reach the top. However, a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended. I myself drove Corolla 2020. Public toilets are not available

Beautiful place. Upto paragliding point is accessible with any car and beyond that its better with a 4x4. Visted on a weekday.

We went to Jabal Yanas by car. Travelling from Dubai to Ras al Khaimah and reach some unnamed road. Went to camp because the cold season in UAE is ending. The photos were taken around 6am of the following day.

It was pleasant for us to visited Jubal Yanas and good for family gathering. Nice view at the night time and what OMG.

The road is very rough and some hills really steep so easy to overheat engine or brakes. Its a nice place but you have the usual suspects coming in groups to play music, scream and leave trash behind. So that’s a big minus. But overall less people in the mountains than at the coast. During big holidays - expect full throttle up here.

Very good drive. My family enjoyed a lot. Lot of people are camping. It was cold. Nice expedition. No bathroom facility anywhere after leaving the Enoc/Eppco pump on Emirates road.

Nice place. Camp, barbecue views are beautiful. One side view will be of the naqab dam. Further a long drive in the mountains for camping.sedan can go up to one place (para gliding) beyond which would be tough.
Plenty of options to hike.pls carry your supplies.

What an amazing place.words cannot come close the sheer beauty and magnificence of this mountain.

Ohhhh sunset here absolutely amazing. Well I don't think you can get as lucky me because we witnessed something spectacular. Low clouds, cold wind, sunset, rain and most importantly spent this evening with my buddies. So don't miss this spot.
P. S. Keep your city clean

Place where you can peacefully enjoy with your family. Making Barbeque. Sun set view and after that city view with beautiful lights.

Amazing place, even during holidays it’s quite. Road is good for 4x4 but still with good sedan you can go up to the point of paragliding (90% top), that’s the highest point you can go with Sedan car. Beyond that it’s very risky with Sedan I strongly recommend not trying. You can walk towards top to enjoy the climbing and beautiful weather. Don’t forget to carry some food and water, there is no washroom or any facilities. Only natural and beautiful place. I like to call it the way to heaven, be safe and don’t take it literally

Beautiful place. Good for camping and hiking. 4x4 vehicle is required to reach out to top. Normal car can go half way and plenty of camping spots are there. There is a gate at the entrance. We have to inform them. They will check the car and let to enter.

Nice place to visit. You can go halfway in a sedan if it has good ground clearance. When the sun starts setting you can see a beautiful view of the RAK city. It’s sunny but there’s wind that keeps the place cool.

Small cars and back wheel cars have to take extra care

Only if you are a adventure lover you will like this place. If you need to enjoy take your 4x4, if not sedan is ok till certain point. If you want to go on top of the mountain better take your 4 wheel drive.

The road up Jabal Yanas, unlike more popular mountains in the UAE, isn’t paved. And that’s what makes the drive up it all the more interesting. On the way up you catch a great view of RAK stretching out to the sea, which should look quite stunning at sunset. The best parts at the top are privately managed and that probably explains why the mountain isn’t as popular as it could be.

It was a good experience but the road is unpaved, therefore front wheel vehicle is not recommended if you really want to reach the top and also if weather is cloudy or rainy please avoid it because it can become too dangerous as the road is bumpy and the danger of landslide cannot be overruled.

Beautiful place. You can see full Ras Al-Khaimah city from the top. But have no services. There is a toilets but no water and not unable

Beautiful place for camping and BBQ. Need 4/4 for off roading. Carry all necessary items like water food light tent because its all empty.nothing can be found there.carry warm clothes are must.if camping would suggest carry rainfly as at night the dews settles on the tent causing wet all around. Better to carry a privacy tent too. Do not light fire on the ground and carry all the garbage along please.wild animals like mountain goats can be found.do not encourage them to come near. Keep the environment clean and maintain the natural beauty.

Such a nice place.i just wish people to be responsible with their trash.i also hope it remains the same natural appearance without commercializing it.

مكان جميل فوق قمة الجبل يمكن تصوير لحظات غروب الشمس ولكن الطريق لابد من إكمالها إلى القمة بطريق سوي وممهد وأن توجد به الخدمات العامة المعنية بالسياحة.
