Amazing place for cyclists to practice riding hills. Though it lacks the infrastructure for cyclists but a good starting point

For those who love to drive, this is an amazing long road. Be sure your car is in top condition and breaks are functioning well. You can drive up, and camp on the road side cliffs. There are several stop points to take in the breathtaking views and photographs. It can get cold so carry a jacket. Food, water and beverages are expensive. You do get barbecue supplies for the base or first resting point. Washrooms are clean.

Scenic view. Nice outing experience with family and friends. A good drive spot. Free entrance. No charge

Guys, if u r coming here, bring all u r needs because nothing available like cigarette fuel u r Tank car water whatever possible or else u will b in trouble place is nice for camping late night

Cycling Jebel Jais.so hard, but most rewarding. Downhill is scary as the speed is sooooooo fast and turns are sharp. The bare mountains have a beauty of their own. And the little villages are quint, colourful and green against the cliffs.

Jebel jais mountain has a good visitor facilities like toilets and rest part are available before reaching the highest part of your choice.here is best compare to jebel hafet mountain, and here lots of things to do in any season specially biking and hiking or camping.
Its free no entrance fee to the mountain compare to al suhob rest area in khorfakkan that was my bad experience.you just pay 5 ead in deck park viewing

ذهبت له با الدراجة الهوائية من حي (دفن النخيل) في راس الخيمة إلى جبل جيس لكن للأسف لم أستطع الوصول إلى القمة بسبب المشقة والطلوع المستمر ذهاب وعودة حوالي 75 كيلو لكن سا أكرر مغامرتي ان شاء الله في فصل الشتاء جميع الخدمات متوفره يوجد حمامات عامه أكرمكم الله على الطريق وهي في غاية النظافه (الف مليون شكرا بلدية راس الخيمة)
في الحقيقة لم اتخيل وجود استراحة على الطريق با هذه النظافة
الطريق جميل جدا والمنظر يستحق التأمل انصح فيه وشده.

It looks amazing but is hot as well during summer, visit with an umbrella or come during winter. Thats the best time I guess. But hay if you want a nice photo summer natural light is perfect.

Roads to Jebel Jais has been repaired and offers an easy and flawless ride to top. Toilet and other facilities are offered at multiple areas. Could not enjoy much since the temperature was very high. Will surely visit during winter.
