Well maintained by local authorities clean mountain, good roads, much more attractions are about to open in coming months. Nice for camping overnight with neat washroom and more small shops and eateries are there. Must watch excellent roads. Zipline also there. Thanks to the Government of Ras Al Khaimah

Zip line is must try.

This is considered to be the highest peak in the UAE. A must see natural spot. Road condition is very good. It slowly ramps up to the peak. There are resting places with toilets and cafeteria in between.

Plan your day in a way that you can catch the sunset time. Settle down well ahead of sunset, so that you can rejoice with the sunset peacefully. You can stay back in one of the resting places- set your bbq and enjoy the evening. Also, better you have enough tea/coffee and snacks/ foods of your choice. Make sure you have warm clothes, if you’re visiting during Oct - Feb, specially in the evening. We visited in Dec 2021, it was cold.

Make sure you don’t leave any trash. Authorities are making good efforts to keep the place clean and secured.

Amazing place, i came with my friends for camping and we enjoyed a lot and the weather is colder than any other place in UAE.

Good road in this hilly area. Wheather is quite cold before the dawn, in the mid of December. Enjoyable by the hikers.

This paid parking lot up here is really nice. The salad and the pizza were really good as well. Nice view point and the start of the hike. I would not recommend doing the second half of the hike, the first half had the best views.

Amazing place to visit, specially for those who love trekking, nature lover and adventure.

The most beautiful sunrise that can be explored in UAE and i think around the world, its the highest mountain peak which can be visited.worth a visit and even for adventurous people who like to stay over night can also stay there with tents and camps

UAE's highest peak point, we been here during the Eid holidays place was crowded a bit otherwise its great experience to drive till top and watching sunrise from the peak is different experience, can stay at this place, camp fire is allowed only in tray, BBQ is allowed need keep the place clean and if we go with a group of friends it will be more fun and different experience.

Scenery, weather and BBQ are the main reasons to visit this place again and again. A chilling spot in hot UAE weather.

Another Photographic location and Jebel Jais is meant for Bikers, Cyclist, Car drivers to jst drive with the zig zag road bends and at the same time to enjoy altitude difference. You must carry food items and plan for barbeque. Clean Toilets are available at the Sightseeing Deck.

Who is searching for the real arab features more than those fascinating buildings. There are those features of Dubai, the real mountains and deserts.this Jebel Jais in RAK is another kind of experiance. The best time to reach is before sunrise so you can get the night view tooo. Its too hotter in later too. Paid view points are also there. Best trucking and cycling area tooo.

Be careful going in the summer times as its very got and your car may be malfunctioned while going on top can be seen people with all these troubles on the side of the road while going on top. Make a proper check on your car like tyre ac brakes radiator coolent and water.

Guys, whatever you do.make sure you dispose the burnt charcoal in designated coal bins.even though we properly extinguished the burning coals in the ground and covered it with sand.the RAK Municipal authorities fined us AED 2,000/-

Best place to plan weekend trip with friends and family. Real jewel in United Arab Emirates for those who like cool weather and have some fun. There is a zip line also in case you are looking for adventure.

The fun part is the long drive from Dubai. If you have a 4 wheel drive the. You will enjoy the long drive along with the mountain drive while going up in the mountains. There are also lots of food trucks in case you are reaching there with out preplan.

Its awesome place, one of my most favorite spot in UAE, this time we stay there whole night and see the sunrise, n I really appreciate RAK Govt. To make the road secure by keeping Signs on every turn, Lights wherever needs and for the new road, and specially for the public toilets.

Very nice place to hide from the heat as the temperature is around 8-10 degrees is below fro the usual. Nice views and walking attractions.

It was relaxing ride going up Jebel Jais but the security near the top of the mountain hold all the tourists told that it was closed and that will be the end of the road. Still some good photos was taken and thanks God for the gift of nature. Amazing views.

Jebel jais is located in near to ras al khima emirate in uae. Its a sedimentary rock mountains hills. Its spread like kilometers. The location is more beautiful in sunset time. They food availability top of hills are risk.

It's very cold and you cannot survive without proper planning and arrangement. If you are planning for camping then before you go, make sure you are having all the camping stuff. BBQ is not allowed if you don't have proper BBQ Grill. If you are planning to stay do carry Jacket, Tent, Blankets and Sleeping Bags! We stayed there for a night. It was 12 degree at night!
There is police at all the camping spots at the mountains just to make sure every thing is fine and they are very supportive.
Washroom are available. The government has done all the arrangement for your best camping experience and you don't need to worry for the loved ones. Also there is one/two shops at the top where you can get the required stuff at little costly price.
The view in the morning was superb when I went in last weekend. You can see the Heavenly clouds in front of you. It looks Amazing! Just WoW!

Amazing! The drive to the top is well worth doing. If you're feeling adventurous you can hurtle down the mountain valley at 95mph. Well worth the money. Go pro video you pay extra for, but you are allowed to take your own video with a mountable go pro of your own.

Jebel Jais is UAE’s one of the tallest mountain of Hajar mountain range and is every bit as exciting as a tall mountain should be. The adventure of treking, Valley veiw, rugged, cold chills, valleys with sweeping views…and absolute isolation. One of the best driving experience, I ever had. Entire mountain range route is scenic. Safe to drive, provided you follow route guidelines. Went with family n friends. At various view points, it has parking, washrooms facilities. Don't expect more.
Also One can try the world's longest n fastest Zipline. Camping is possible. Although we didn't, may be next visit.

Lovely place and amazing drive to the mountains. The weather up there is really good. Views are really good with a nice cold breeze. Although they stopped everyone near the observation deck and dint allow to go to the peak.

Good place for camping OR BBQ. Remember Don't burn fire on the ground, use proper trays. Yesterday I was there and temperature was 14°C. Keep the jacket or warm cloths with you. Keep the area clean otherwise you will get heavy fines. Road is very good but some divers seems little bit nurvaous in the night when coming back beacuse of sharp turns on the road. So be careful and follow the road signs.

Newly built roads are smooth. They should add more parking spaces at the top. The Tuc shop over there has ridiculously high prices. A pleasant place for BBQ and outing

Driving through the mountain passes feels like you are no longer in the same country as Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The rugged scenery and tortured rock formations are a gift to see in person. Note there are no gas stations after you enter. The roads becomes a never-ending series of switchbacks near the top. The weather is cooler up there and you have to watch out for goats running around. There are a few rest stops with bathrooms on the way up and a developed station at the top with clean seating and small food facilities. The views are amazing.

The place becomes over crowded during weekends and national holidays. The weather also is much cooler up there so you should wear appropriate clothing. The drive is full of turns and the views are amazing. You can also have your own bbq after the drive and camp overnight.

If you are planning to visit in current days make sure you keep the area clean around yourself as there's a lot of checking going on by municipality and the least fine is of AED 500. And the old wild fun is no more as it's all so formal now
