Two times I went there and both I faced problem of dirty washrooms and no water in washroom

A very good viewpoint.
Lower temperature compared to city.
The best time is summer to visit.

Best place to take nice pictures with a good background. Also, there is an option to do BBQ.

It’s one of the best must visit place in Ras Al Khaimah. It has so beautiful natural mountain view. Newly built roads are awesome and now its directly connected to emirates roads. During holidays there is too much rush and not advisable to visit but in weekends it's worth to visit and peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Nice hike.there are no places to fill up your water so make sure you bring enough. It is a rugged, beauty but hot and bleak landscape. Also, the sun is intense so bring your sunscreen

Worth going to Jebel jais, if you are in UAE. JAIS SLEDDER is one the best ride you can have there.

Like WOW, what a trip that was. Dragged out of home by a couple of enthusiastic neighbors I assisted to marinate chicken, the idea was to grill it on a road trip.

And 90 minutes and 150 odd kilometers later, we were at a pitstop, just in time for sunset with at least 2 dozen other cars and music of almost every genre. AND Language - inundating our ears from every direction - and then I was told - welcome to Jebel Jais.

Very well made infrastructure and very conveniently located, I was told there are other rest areas as we went higher up. Glad and blessed for this trip and looking forward to the next one.

And the chicken could have done with a LITTLE LESS of BHUT JOLOKIA - The Ghost Pepper Sauce

Jabal Jais is an amazing place for all who wish to have a new look at the UAE. It is breathtaking between the activities and hiking to camping, this place is a must see. Just heads-up: bring with you a lot of water, sunscreen, hats and good hiking boots. It is highly recommended during winter and early spring as the weather is cool and there would be lovely clouds. Enjoy!

Fantastic arrangement by the organizer the place is well organized for the price they charge.

If the organizers maintain the same ticket price it would much affordable.

The view from this place is awesome. With proper seating arrangements with shade.
The toilets are kept clean neat and tidy.
You have a cafeteria, which serves good cafe and they do have pizza (which is very tasty)

Amazing location for overnight camping, bring you all required items with you as there is no store near by, you will find a small store before entering in mountain but that is super expensive, like egg tray is AED 60, small khubz AED 4 Chips small AED 10

Better reach little early to find good location, if you are camping with kids better to stay near washrooms.

Temperature fall upto 5 degree in winters you better well prepared.

Camping ground is level but you should have good camping mattress or carpet for good sleep.

You should keep place clean all the time, security will visit multiple time.

Washrooms are not super clean but usable.

Bbq is 100% allowed but not on ground directly and coal remains should be in bin directly.

During camping you will find many kinds of people some are quite and some are super noisy, you can request them to stop making too much noise if needed.

It was a great place. It will be one of the best destination for weekend if there are restaurants and other facilities.

This place is always on my list, no matter how many times I have been there. Especially in winter

The best thing about this place is the drive to the top of the mountain.

On the top there isn't much to do and the visibility is quite poor and nothing scenic to look down - so if u don't enjoy the driving the twists and turns - then don't go.

Dec 1,2019 weather drops 1 to 2 degree within half an hour 3.30 Am approx 7 degree. 3.45 Am approx less thaan 5 degree.

Come in the morning or from stay over camping - this is best time to really enjoy the spot.

It was a great trip to Jebel jais. A good climate you can enjoy. And the drive through the mountain is so exciting. View from the top hill station will give you a unique and unforgettable feeling. You can spend a full night there with tent. Small cafeterias are available there.

While going up jebel jais mountain, you have different view points in between. There is toilet facility available for men n women. Better to fill car tank before starting for the trip as you cannot find easily petrol stations nearby

Swiss of UAE. Romantic and calm place. Good for leisure long drives.and a place to the longest Zipline in the world.

Amazing view of the valley and tje rpad which leads up to this point! You can also see the people sliding down on the Zipline. I would recommend to bring your own food and drinks for this roadtrip, since the F&B selection on the moutain is quite basic- altough you can buy snacks and refreshements.

Considering the view and the location for tourists is not bad for a one time visit but not for camping nor for spending the day.

The top of the mountain is closed for people except the ones that paid to go on the big drop from top. No one is allowed to stay on the top, camp there or even cross it.we were also hoping to find a good camp sight on our way up the mountain but didn't find any.at least the view was good.

Very good place in Ras Al Khaimah.about 2 hours drive from Dubai, these are lovely mountains and the highest mountain peak in UAE. Quite famous for an amazing sunset and recently more popular for the world's highest zipline activity. Lovely place for a day out especially from Oct to Mar as the weather is quite good.

Good place to have a great time. Barbecue, tent stay (bring your tents and quilts to keep warm), great views, lovely weather. Peaceful. Carry food, coal and all necessary to barbecue, water, cold drinks, etc. There are a couple of food vans at the top. Washroom on most observation decks. If you plan for a night stay, keep quilts and warm clothes, mats, chair, led lamps. Book for the world's longest zip line adventure up here. Book a ticket to observation deck and watch RAK sea coast from above the mountains. Or just get your books to read and chairs to relax and unwind. Clean and managed designated areas for car park and barbecue. Holidays and weekends, it is crowded.reach early and secure a nice place for a wonderful time. Two points to remember: Make sure to keep the place clean. And drive safe.

Fantastic place to go for a long drive with our loved ones. Highlight of this place is that you will find 5* to 10* drop in temperature when compared to the planes. Best place to have a over night stay, to make barbiq's, have fun & see the clear view of Sun Rise

. It is different from the mountains i used to see.i like the rock formations.but haven't been to the top most.maybe next time.still hot season.

Highest peak in UAE, good place for night camping, barbeque. Always 10 degree lesser than Dubai temperature, also there is Zipline which is worlds longest and entered in Guinness book. Always make sure to keep your surroundings clean and don't put the waste as you will have to pay penalty for such offences. Keep washing water with you as toilets water will not be refilled till morning.
