Jebel Jais View Point 2

One of the best view points on Jabel jais mountain. This view point includes a area with lighting, washroom, water & a cafetaria which we required to purchase a small amount ticket to make campings.
If you need a free area, then you can make camp bit away from here near to the road.
Attention: Do not make camp fire on floor without a steel plate which can be cause to be fined by officers

It's always a good drive to reach there. Once the there is not much to do unless you want to try the zipline or the newly started sled ride. Views are nice although the pics clicked don't do justice to the actual view. The roads seem to improve everytime I go there which is much appreciated. Few of the people can be unruly (walk on the driveway etc) so be careful while driving

Went in the rain, super cold during the winters highly recommend bringing materials for a bonfire and warm clothes.

Had a great experience of bbq and camping overnight.
Just remember to reserve a best spot at night so you can enjoy the view of sunrise from the Mountains.
And don't forget to bring warm clothes.

الحمامات تحتاج للصيانة والكهرباء في بعض الأماكن
توفير حمامات للسباحة.
توفير الماء اللازم للاستخدامات اليومية للرحالة.
توفير سوبرماركت صغير للإحتياجات الأساسية للزوار خصوصا لأيام العطلة.

Its nice place to chill and relax specially this winter time the weather is cold at the top even on afternoon time.

Peaceful retreat in winter, an overnight camping here takes a person away from everyday hustle and bustle and very close to nature. Has a soothing effect.

Nice family gathering place point 2 ais no need to drive too much and climate is normal. But I prefer Point 7

UAE is not sand desserts only. There are tall rock mountains in there, which are as tall as Nilgiris! Never expected!

Loved this place. It has an amazing view. Had been here for overnight camping. One has to prepare properly for the cold weather. Should be well equipped with winter wear and tents. The only part that was not good was the washroom. There wasn't enough water, which left the washrooms very dirty and smelled awful. There was no one to clean it. Or else it's worth 5 stars

Jebel Jis is located in Ras Al Khaimah, one of the emirate's most popular attractions. It belongs to the Hajar Range in the north of the city, the highest mountain in the UAE.

It is 1,900 meters above ground and is characterized by low temperatures in both summer and winter, with winter temperatures reaching about 5 degrees Celsius and snow falling twice every year

Long drive from dubai but the view is worth it.old jebel jais didnt have any chai spots but now they do have a tea and snacks shop.jam packed on weekends.specific bbq spots allocated

Weather is always amazing, and a spectacular place to be with loved ones and enjoy from dusk till dawn to watch the sunrise. Peaceful and quite.

The best place to watch sunrise / sunset lots of place to camp, however weekends in winter may get crowded safe and secure with lots of police patrol and help centers by the government have a campfire directly burn on the ground is a crime and will be asked to pay a hefty fine! Learnt it the hard way.

Decent drive, a section of road was in bad shape and need major repair. They need a few more restaurants and cafes with a control over their price to attact tourists. I really liked the gesture of police men to welcome tourists and giving them a garbage bag

Fantastic for long drives, evening BBQ. Not suitable to visit during the mornings to afternoons if you are not sun lover.

Nice place in UAE invoirment expensive food items like make more Rest rooms keep it dust bins on the roads

This place has a peculiar terrain with Grand Canyon like mountains. And Jabel Jais gets really cold during winter - snow falls with minus temperatures ️ there is hiking and biking opportunities out here.
