Had a beautiful experience at Joraif with my family. Unfortunately, they didn’t have mutton mandi meat so we instead got madfoon and and fired mutton meat. To my support both were really awesome. Lovey staff and owners. Would love to visit there again.
Horrible service. They made my grandmother of 80 years of age walk a whole flight fo stairs just to tell us that they don’t have any meat and that it would take AN HOUR. Once we confronted the waiter he told us that its our fault that we didn’t ask beforehand. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
Bad service! I am a regular customer and only now i had a bad experience with one of there waiter! He is already outside and he doesn’t want to take my order. He’s telling me i need to park properly first before making order in a RUDE manner! I told him i am fixing my car parking but there’s a car behind me, and started mentioniong fine of 200dhs whatsoever!
Mandi was usually made from rice, meat (lamb, camel, goat or chicken), and a mixture of spices called hawaij. The meat used is usually a young and small sized lamb to enhance the taste further.
The main technique which differentiates mandi from other meat dishes is that the meat is cooked in the tandoor (taboon in Arabic), which is a special kind of oven which is usually a pit dug up in the ground and covered with clay all around its sides.
Mandi is considered the main dish served during special events, such as Eid, weddings, and feasts in Yemen, Somalia and southern Saudi Arabia.
Last 8 years i am permanent customer for joraif mandi.especially my daughters too much like for mandi chicken.its very tasty and softness.i suggest my friends & family all this shop.
We two hurriedly went there to have iftar meal, it was pretty crowded hence the service was delayed. Food was not bad it's OK to go there once a while. Good and decent seating arrangements.
Mandhi and Mahdbi are already mouth-watering in itself but dining in Joraif Resto is something that surprised me. Theirs tasted really good and set apart from other restos I have ever tried. Their Kunafa is also the tastiest I have ever tried in UAE. Their location is also very good with scenic view of RAK mangroves. However, I failed to take photos as I was so hungry and so focused on my yummy food. We left full, happy and will surely come back again.
Best place for Mandi. One of the best thing about this place is you can have mandi on dinning table or with traditional carpet where you can sit down and enJoy the food.
After food nice walk way for walk n spend some pleasant time.
Just next to the acclaimed Al Noor Mosque lies a small green island - Al Noor Island. What we liked: Loads of chirping birds, the walk through connecting the island to the mainland, lot of green interspersed with sights of water; the island itself is beautiful with many strange trees.rest rooms are not clean.don't buy the ticket with the meal, the small cafe inside the island is having very limited.
Worst mutton madfoon experience ever I had in UAE. Motton was smelly and old. Mutton was thick and had rubbery feeling to it. Even the rice has changed from my last visit to this restaurant. Once this restaurant used to be the best mandi place in town. Now the worst.
