Pink Lake

Its slightly pink. Nothing so exciting about the place.

Well, there is a very nice beach nearby.

The place is very unusual, but not at all refined for visits, the expectations were higher than what we saw. The lake looks like a big puddle:) Get ready to edit your photos after shooting.)

Very awesome place, with wonderful beach. I totally enjoyed with my friends. I went on Sunday.

A very beautiful place and the view is fantastic but you need a 4x4 because the sand is deep

Keep the area clean and take the garbage out, it's not a dump! Five stars for the place, zero for the plastic bottle and garbage left from the people…

You may not reach with the map, just go ahead and you ll find a bridge.cross the bridge and take the left, u ll find beach and sand dune.

After the sand dune this place would be visible

You can visit the location, if you pass near by but not recommended with family especially during summer

the water get dried and it wouldn't visible.except the pink colour sediments.

It's a small lake at the Rams Beach, accessible by car or ATV. Not bad, but also not so much interesting

It's beautiful, though quite small! It is actually a natural pond between the sea and the lake. Color of the water isn't exactly pink. It could be a result of either the presence of salt or minerals that gives a pink color to the sand under the water. Salt is accumulated on the edges of the pond. The sea on the right side is naturally beautiful, and doesn't have any barriers. This is something that we crave to see in Dubai, which makes it more beautiful and natural. The rise of waves has a very soothing effect on one's mind. The entire area is extremely scenic and peaceful. There's a bridge that gives an old world charm to the area and the view from there is totally mesmerising!

It was smelly.maybe because water was stagnant.nothing pink about it. But the beach there was super clean.very nice.will surely someday visit the beach again.

Pink Lake is a small water catchment. As its on small desert island so probably the water is a result of seepage from the sea. In Al Rams suburb of Ras Al Khaimah, you can take Al Qantarah Street and at its end you should take 28 D Street towards Saraya Islands. After crossing the bridge take left on unpaved path besides military buildings. After crossing the military building you can park the car near beach and walk few hundred meters straight towards small Pink Lake or if you are on SUV you can take it near the lake. While standing on top of sand dunes you can have beautiful view of Al Rams as well as Sea.

Unsafe place we experienced here some maniacs teen agers will taunting you. I called the police so that they scared and go away luckily I can speak arabic and I explained to the police what happened. I hope next time atleast they send some police to check the place so that it will be safe for everyone.

Nice beach and calm visited on UAE national holidays, am really thank to RAK people and govt, my vehicle stuck in sand with in 5mins they helped us to pull out. Like many cars stuck over there but they are helping every one with smile really great people, and we did bbq and water is crystal clear.love to go again

The Pink Lake or (Pond) it should be called was a strange phenomenon to see in Ras Al Khaimah. Their are lots of huge salt deposits in the sand and it is right next to the Gulf of Oman. We enjoyed ourselves being able to witness this strange but enjoyable site. Be careful not to get stuck trying to drive a car right up to the lake, best to park and walk to it, if you have 4 wheel drive no problem.

It’s worth a drive to the pink lake. Beautiful area and a relax beaching at the opposite of the lake.

Small lake located near the military check post which is easily accessible even with sedan. The view is good with ocean one side and pink lake other side. Nice calm place for BBQ and family outing at beach.

The lake has been destroyed by human beings, it's sad how much damage has been caused to the lake that it's not even pink anymore. People think that throwing garage and waste is normal, but they didn't realise that they have just polluted the lake.

I would blame social media influencers for sharing the location of such places.
