Visited yesterday with my famiy.enterence fee per person is 40aed.not worth at all.if you want to feed or take photo with some animals they charge extra.very tiny place.very few and very tied animals.they are very sad in a very little cages.staff is not friendly.not recommended.
Place and animals are good but supervisor no consideration for my kids, i ask permission if i can buy foods for the kids as one snack shop only open. We are the only family visiting at that time. 2pm we entered and we left 3: 30pm hopefully management will advise your supervisor to be consider sometimes especially to kids. Thank you
Delightful experience for the two year old twins that we took there. Entrance fee was 40 AED per adult and the toddlers were free. Once inside we had to pay far more for a short picture session. All in all the experience was nice but left a feeling of being used.
The place is good and a place to consider visiting.why I gave 3 stars is because the animal fencing system should be improved.like most animal cages that we visited the visibilty is not good and i have to put my face sticked to the glass to see the animal.regardless the dust and the dirt that I will get from puting my face on it.
Like the white lion cage was a Chrystal clear glass we saw the lion and it was amazing.some changes were done but needs more improvement.
The service (washrooms) are in very bad condition. The price is very high for the size of the zoo All the activities with charges which is too much (tickets + activities)
Recommend to remove the charges for the activities or reduce the tickets price.
It was maskhara zoo very dirty there was not a lot animal only some lion and tiger never worth 40 aed even not worth for free! Because it was waste of time the times worth more
If it wasn't for the ticket price of AED 40 per person and the personal golf kart for AED 100 for 30 minutes, the experience would have been a lot better. The zoo is poorly maintained with arrogant staff. The glass through which we see the animals is so dirty that you can only see your own reflection. They have lots of lions, tigers, white lion, etc but none of them are cleaned properly and taken proper care of.
The place is not good to visit in summer, too hot Its not that crowdy one Tickets price is a bit too much for this one Not well maintained Animals were not happy they were lethargic and lazy I like the pond area and the parrots one Not that good place Not worthy of this ticket.
Zoo is located about an hour journey from Dubai, you can easily locate it as it’s just by the road.
There is a entry fee of 40aed (applicable for adults and children), which is fairly priced. The Zoo is in a wide spread area, part of it is covered with sheets giving the visitors good shade and part of it is open. Electric cars are available for visitors to rent them and stroll around the zoo.
All animals are maintained well, they definitely looked like they are fed well and are taken care of in a good way. Many species of animals are at the zoo. Tigers and Lions are maintained very well and find a lot of them here.
Avoid mid afternoon time for the visit, as the animals will be sleeping and you will not get a good look at it.
Overall good place to take your children and family, zoo gives a relaxing environment and worth the drive.
Some of the pens are run down but there is a large selection of lions and tigers and some other birds and animals to (monkeys, big cats, donkey, gazelle, water buffalo) but this place is mainly lions and tigers
Not worth the buck, Aed 40 surely priced on the high and nothing much to see.only the flamingo area gave us a respite. How ever can understand the expenses to keep the private zoo going. My advice you have the money to spend on do visit
One person 40AED. No giraffe.no hippopotamus.no rhinoceros.no bear.no zebra.no gorilla.no panda.no elephant.no kangaroo. Can see Tiger and lion. Visited March 2021
Has many lions and tigers.and other wild animals. Though its a pleasure to watch the king of the jungle so closely.but still always feel pity to see them caged.
Terrible experience. The poor animals look like sad and some of them are injured, and without any expectations of life.please do something to make them feel better. Photo with Chimpanzee 100aed x person, herbs for goats 5aed.
2 hour trip with children is good. Make sure to visit in the morning or in the evening. As during noon time most of the wild life will be sleeping.
Spend time on feeding Yemu, Camel & Deer, which will be a new experience and take some photos/videos of it. (Camels are coveres with lots of flies- so you may not find it as hygenie to feed them- Not sure the flies are there because of the climate or the camels are not clean) AED 5 for a bunch of grass to feed the animals.
Take some photos of kids with birds on shoulders at the entrance itself.
Entry Ticket 40 AED for adults. Free for children under 3 Years.
Entry fees is AED 40 PER PERSON, They are only accept cash. Before you go should keep cash for it. Otherwise there is no ATM nearby. Neet and clean good to go with children's.
I wnet there by 4 pm.and guess what. Most of animals were sleeping. I feel watsed the 40 Aed for tickets My grandma Farm has animals more interesting than that
Animals are in a good condition. Zoo is clean. Cages of lions and tigers have poor visitor sight and glass/steel bars need to be cleaned. Farm animals can be fed by kids.
Very bad condition of the animals! They don’t have water! They are nervous, walking around and making really sad sounds and faces! And some animals are alone in the cage and they should be there with a pack, so they look really depressed!
It's not a zoo at all, it is just some one private place turned into a tiny zoo, with few animals and tickets price is AED 40 does not deserve at all to be visited
Very neat and tidy zoo. Good collection of lions and tigers.wolfs and Hyenas. But limited population of animals. Nice Experience. Entry fee of AED 40.00 is a little high.
Ticket: 40 AED person / Under 3 years FREE - Too small. - Not too many types of animals. - Majority of the cages do not have any information written outside the cage. - Not well maintained. - Not worth 40 AED + Different types of CATS. + Enough space for the CATS to roam around. + Zoo timings (9am to 9pm)
It was a good experience. You can see lots of Lions, couple of chimpanzees, Tigers, few wolves n crocodiles there. Although it's private and small zoo, you can enjoy close encounter with Lions.
Quite possibly the worst Zoo i’ve been to. For those that have voted this Zoo, 5* have never been to a Zoo in Europe where the animals are treated with respect and looked after properly with zoo keepers who are trained in their field. It is absolutely disgusting, the U. A. E should be ashamed to allow this place to keep its doors open.
Rak zoo was a lot better than what I thought it would be. Zoo is mostly shaded. Wide variety of tigers- golden, white etc, lion, photo with chimpanzee, animal feeding for children, crocodiles, jaguar, black panther, fox, wolf, honey badger, deer, sheep, goat, donkey, mule, pony, camel, vulture, eagle, falcon, owl, python, tortoise, buffalo, horse stables and riding. You can easily spend two hours in the zoo. No restaurant other than a small tea shop. AED 40 for adults, children upto 3 free entry. Washrooms available, not that clean. Worth the money, kids will enjoy.
The price has been shot up from 20 to 40, not strictly worth for the price. But at least you will have chances to see animals in close proximity compared to other zoos. Some of the cages are empty and informations are missing. No restaurant inside the zoo.
A fantastic initiative that lacks both funding and awareness. Taking animals that have been chained up and beaten, forgotten pets or smuggled in small crates by illegal pet traders and given a second chance. Selflessly privately funded (not for profit) but for the passion and love for animals and there greater welfare. 200aed for my 1 and 2 year old daughters to spend 121 time with a chimpanzee is a priceless memory, knowingly this fee probably wouldn’t cover a days salary for the handler and food for the Chimp.
Its small area with limited number of wild life species. AED 40 is too much for 3+ year and above. Al ain zoo is 100 times better and cheaper option in every respect
The zoo is a sanctuary for rescue animals from the UAE, some have been illegally imported and some have been rescued from travelling circuses. The zoo is owned by a local gentlemen who cares hugely for the animals in his care. Possibly not ideal in this climate, but at least the animals are safe. Unfortunately it is not widely known that this is a rescue centre, but there are lots of caring people in Ras Al Khaimah that are trying to improve the conditions in which these beautiful animals live.
