Do not use for this circus of a Free Zone company. Been waiting NEARLY 3 WEEKS for a license renewal. Calling my credit card company, since they do not want to refund my money. Fraudster economic zone more like it. They only care about their new sign ups, and not the people that are already with them AT ALL.

Worst experience of timelines and attention during last 15 years of association with RAKEZ. Visa processing which is normally 3-5 days is not completed even in 3 weeks, everyone talk very nice and express inability or ability and tell timelines and requirements and constraints. But THE JOB is not done. Team RAKEZ. Visa processing is not your specialty, you are selling visa inclusive product and we customers are at suffering like nothing at the end of revenue generation stream of RAKEZ. At first they are extremely kind and helpful, but once you pay them it all turns around. No customer support after sales whatsoever. Almost 4 months ago I bought the investor visa package with extra visa for 19,500 AED. The license was issued and I thought everything went okay.

But after license was issued (which is automatically done) they will stop assisting you. No instructions on how to apply for the visa/residency or anything. After managing to apply for the e-visa (which at this point is a few weeks later when it should have been maximum of one week for the whole process), i get my visa rejected because apparently Lebanese expats are temporarily banned from e-visa? They told me they will try to request the visa again and sent the request to immigration but got rejected again with no explanations from either side.

After a while, some friend told me that a similar situation happened with them and that I should request a refund. I contacted my account manager and customer service for the refund. They told me "they sent the refund request" but I never received the refund nor any updates regarding the refund. Also they have stopped responding to me. A few days ago I sent an official e-complaint to the Government of Ras Al-Khaimah hoping they will resolve the issue soon.

(Update: The feedback team have responded to my inquiries and are following up with on the refund request. I will update again once I actually receive the refund in my bank.)

I am an Indian citizen. I paid a lumpsum amount but waited three weeks, and finally, they said that immigration declined my investor visa for an unknown reason.

They deducted 3500 AED, and I got the refund in around five weeks. The agency also took 500 AED from the refund amount, which was a 4k AED loss for me overall.

If immigration declines the visa, why do you take this much money?

I got advice that I should pick Dubai based freezone rather then these cheaper options.

RAKEZ offered one of the most competitive packages available in the market for company setup. The process was smooth thanks to their great portal and customer service. Special thanks to Adarsh for assisting in every step of the way.

The worst decision I made in my life to set up a company in RAKEZ.
Setting up the company was easy and smooth, however doing visas is a total nightmare.
The call centre agents provided wrong information which cost me a huge amount of money.
I had to deal with missing information, delay in responding and no clarity of procedures.
Customer service takes ages to respond via email, and not to mention the struggle of trying to get a refund.
If you are setting a business with visas, this is not the place for you.

Pls do not get confused with these negative reviews, It depends on case to case. Honestly I got panicked after reading these negative reviews however let me give my 50 cents based on my company setup with 360 audit and business consultant for RAKEZ package.

I approached the lady named Durr e Shehwar, told my requirement. She suggested me RAKEZ package. Had a meeting with her and the company owner Mr Qadir. They both are just awesome and guided perfectly. Then procedure started, Hina from operations came into picture and kept me informed on each and every step. Awesome and dedicated lady. Everything was taken care by them in only two weeks. Just wow.

They worth your every single penny. I will not hesitate to vouch for them in future to anyone. Great Job Durr e Shehwar, Hina and Mr Qadir. Thank you also for much faster service.

The worst place to set up a company is extremely unprofessional and they will waste your time.
Look for other places! I wasted several months on Rakez setting up a company and later on they refunded me less than 50% of what I invested.

They never tell you that the renewal charges are the same for whatever package you choose. Moreover, I had a bounced cheque for which I paid the money through bank transfer but they filed a civil case against me with a travel ban which they didn't lift and saying the case has been withdrawn but not producing any evidence. Moreover, they are not returning my cheque also. So this is how you treat a customer. Instead of helping me you made my life hell. I will not recommend anyone to go for freezone license since mainland license is cheaper and you have labor quotas for no additional cost.

First of all I shall thank RAK Governance for providing an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to start up their business through a very simple and easy platform RAKEZ. Its one stop solution and single window service. My experience with RAKEZ is great, the whole process was very smooth and accurate.

Mr. Abhay Kathal was assigned for my case, he has provided an outstanding support with timely update and with precise details. I have not missed the track at any time during the process.

This is the worst freezone you can setup your company at.
Pathetic customer service, many hidden fees and a waste of time.
They approved the trade license but rejected the partner visa and downgraded my package without getting written approval and refunded some amount in my portal E-wallet which is of no use to me. How is a person supposed to do business in UAE without getting the visa?
Once you have paid them, forget your money. Long wait times when you call their customer service who have zero knowledge of most processes. Send an email and expect a minimum delay of 1-2 weeks in response despite multiple followups.
All in all, you are better of registering elsewhere, pay more but less headache.
At Rakez, you pay more and have more headaches!

Incorporation process is seamless and efficient. Georgiana Aldea is the RAKEZ staff who assisted with the incorporation process, was very helpful and always available to respond to queries via email and WhatsApp. In less than 3 days the entire process was completed and company was incorporated.

Some of the worst customer service and user experience I've experienced in the UAE (RAKEZ in general). Additionally, so many hidden fees you'll feel positively swindled. Highly regret getting a freelance permit with them. Save yourself the trouble of this nightmare and take your money and business elsewhere.

Unfortunately I have a very bad experience with RAKEZ and still suffer from the performance of the staff starting from sales to account department. I started thث application for RAKEZ on 26 October 2021. The last message I got that the application was submitted and should receive the visa on 1 November 2021. The sales man who assigned for my application quit his job and no body contacted me and I tried to call RAKEZ until I reached the new person. We started the communication on 7/11/2021 and did not get any positive step, On 9/12/2021 he informed me that my application was rejected by the immigration and agreed for the refund process. After many trials, calls and complains accountant senior helped to release the money and sent transfer to Mashreq Al Islami bank on 20/1/2022. Until now nothing transferred and nobody support any clarification. This is too bad experience and I do not recommend anyone to start his business and try another organization can support. I already applied in SPC and completed my business on time with full support.

My experience dealing with Rakez totally exceeded all my expectations. From the get go, I was assigned Mrs Georgiana as my representative.

She did an excellent job guiding me through the whole process. She was there to assist me throughout every single step. I truly appreciate her prompt replies to my questions, always going above and beyond and providing an outstanding service.

I want to share my experience I never ever wrote a review in my life but THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST, they made my life a disaster, I opened my company with them which I regret the most! At the beginning they were amazing replying to my emails, my messages UNTIIIIIIL I PAYED! Once I payed I had no reply from them any question regarding my licence they don’t reply on my emails! I call for hours and hours and no costumer service available! Aaaand the best part is I went to them from DUBAAAAI to Rak to see a consultant or anyone, the receptionist said you can’t meet anyone! How I can’t meet a consultant and I have a license with you! She said call only customer service! I HAVE URGENT QUESTIONS, I need informations where to go?

RAKFZE the best authority to be associated with and to do smooth business. I have had a dream to have my own business setup for many years and now it finally has happened today and my sincere thanks goes to RAKFZE and especially to Ms. Hycinth who has guided me right from the start to the present status of getting the official TL. If you enjoy throwing money to the trash, poor customer support and getting robbed, then RAKEZ is the perfect place for you!

I had a terrible experience with slow processes and no support to open bank accounts, when they (lied) assured me they had good relationships with banks.

At the end of the day, their fees are relatively low (compared to other free zones), but make no mistake, you pay for what you get: poor cusotmer service, no support and quite likely the closure of your company.

After ghosting you for 1 year they will contact you once again, because you will have to renew your company license (wait for it), this time the renewal cost will be higher, and if you don´t wish to renew you have 2 options:
1- Pay a fine for every day your company doesnt renew.
2- Pay to close the company.
Either way you pay.

RAK is good in sales. Keep following up till you pay. After paying, the support is too bad. They promised me to open the company in 2 days. Now it is 3 weeks, and they didn't come back yet. No response on the emails.no clue what to do.

Ms. Jenna Mckeirnan helped me a lot with the Freelance Permit application, she stayed and guided me from the beginning till the end. If you need help with anything freelance or freezone make sure to look for Ms. Jenna. It only took 48 hours after the application was submitted and I got the permit.
