The place is very attractive people can go camping, swimming and have fun there. The place is safe there are guardians there.

Truly a hidden paradise tucked away 20 minutes away from the heart of RAK city. I discovered this place while looking for good fishing spots that didn’t need a boat. I went this past weekend to finally check this place out, I took my Wrangler and uncovered a beautiful hidden gem and a casual, yet breathtaking, local natural wonder. Stretching along a quiet residential area, the island boasts secluded, pristine beaches on one end and a thriving mangrove with plenty of young fish, birds and other creatures. Although the place has been recently “found” to the public, you won’t come across too many other people here, even on a weekend. However you can still unfortunately see the traces those few people leave behind so please, if you go, leave the place as you found it.
Directions:
maps takes you as far as the military/coast guard camp on the edge of the island. One must cross a small bridge towards a Coast Guard facility where you will find (and choose to ignore) several Danger and Do Not Enter signs, before reaching the entrance of the facility. You will find a clearing to the left of the entrance where you can follow the outer wall down the gravel path until you reach the softer sand. This is where you should stop and let out some air from your tyres and make sure your vehicle has off-road capabilities. There is an “easy” path, however there are many rough patches and the sand can be deceiving to the untrained eye so it wouldn’t be surprising for someone to unwittingly get stuck and delay their trip. After making sure you are ready to begin off-roading, make your way up a large rectangular hill where you can get a better view of what the island has to offer as well as getting a close look at the pink lake which formed in the valley of the rectangular hill. From that point you can decide where to set up camp for the day. You are also welcome to camp out overnight as the weather is getting better now and it is allowed on this island. At the opposite end of the island are some rocky piers (wavebreakers idk) that make good fishing spots to cast from. To get there you can drive along the scenic mangrove route or along the outer coast of the island so you can look out for a good spot to stop by the white sandy beach. I would warn against driving too close to the beach as the terrain will be a challenge to even an experienced driver.
The infrastructure is limited but I saw quite a few structures that were presumably bathrooms although I didn’t check. I had a little bathroom emergency myself, however I fortunately found a family camping with an RV and separate toilet trailer which they graciously allowed me to use.
Overall this was one of the best finds of the year for me. This will definitely be a return spot as I still haven’t spent the night there and plan to soon.

Heavily polluted, can literally see masks, plastic bottles, broken beer bottles on the sea shore. On top of it there were two many suvs roaming here and there at full speed which is not safe. Not recommended for families.

Cozy place in winter. Nice place for overnight and tent can be installed, swimming in day with lifeguards. Barbeque spot friendly.
Toilets are not available so please clean it first at petrol station before proceeding.
Bring garbage bag for your garbage.
Small car can go to certain area and there are off road for 4x4.

Beautiful view of Beach ️ u can do barbeque.if u have 4x4 vehicle it will be gud otherwise sedan will work and can enjoy the sunset and sunrise.u can visit on public holidays, very few families on public holidays, but no facility for shower and rest room.

Great place to hangout or take a trip to, waters are quite decent.
Only 4WDs can go deep in.
Not crowded, can have a small private island party in peace.
No fishing allowed.

Good place for isolated weekend. Only 4wd vehicle can roam around because no proper road, driving on beach allowed, no shops, swimming allowed. We did bbq also, two days ago

This is a great beach, very calm and good to swim and see the sunset. It is also good for driving a four wheels cars. This can be a great opportunity to train driving, if you’re not used to this type of cars and want to take it to desert eventually.

The best place to have MEE time if you love long drive away from Dubai. It is located at the borders of RAS AL KHAIMAH & OMAN.they have pink lake as well loacted near by and also some boatings and fishing tours.
