wadi Diftah / وادي دفتا

Awesome place to visit in winter. Can be recommended for friendship get-together and also for couples where you can reach there at 4 in the midnight waiting for the sunrise and have a adventure swimming in the mountain water

It was absolutely serene and peaceful. However, water ponds were less, and despite dustbins everywhere people have still managed to throw rubbish into the water ponds.

Very small place, looks different from that of reels shared on Instagram. Best time to visit is during rains! No entry, need to go inside to explore more.

Visited in April the water is all dried up.the place is littered all over with plastic bottle, wrappers by humans.
Doesn't look as shown in the pics and videos of some insta influencers with lots of filters.

Pros: natural beauty
Cons: there is no parking area,
Personal note: go during rain time to enjoy, else the water is not there,

Been there early in the morning, not crowded, natural clear and clean water. Winter is the best time to visit.

What could be a small oasis, is plenty of rubish, trash and plastics. So few water spots and are treated miserably

Currently the place was not like before. There is no water and the natural rocks were demolished.

Beautiful place to hike with lots of groundwater puddles

Have to get waste deep in water to get through, so bring a towel

And a lot of slippery areas and rocks so BRING HIKING SHOES and please be careful to not slip and fall

Beautifully curated Wadi with hidden spring water pool but unfortunately it has been damaged by people with all the trash around. Municipality should punish those people who are littering.

A small shrill brook by the main highway. Accessible almost nearly by a high ground clearance vehicle. Even if you have a saloon car you may park it by the side of the road and head towards the place on foot.
Expect a very small area, with narrow but deep crevice full of fresh water opening out into a small but deep pond.
You may even dive into the pond. It’s deep enough.
BE CAUTIOUS trying to swim the narrow crevice. It’s deep and the side walls are slippery and slope inward. I sincerely hope the authorities attach a guide rope to the walls before any untoward incident happens.

The place is very nice but there's an old lady straight opposite to the water body. She's super racist and threw rocks at us for swimming at the place. Kinda lame if u ask me, the worst experience I've ever had. We had to get out and she yelled at us saying not to come back.

Very nice place to bath and enjoy. Live your life happy as much as you can. In this place you can see the fresh water lake like India. Pure water

UPDATE: The wadi has been closed now and the water has dried up

The best natural pool in UAE with spots for jumping. It's 3.5-7m deep

Its wow feeling. Natural lake.fresh water. No fee. Best tym 4pm -7pm. Better to take some drinks and snacks. No shops nearby. Enough space to park.then 10 minutes walk. 4x4 vehicle can reach near to lake. Highly Recommended!

Fresh water streams, natural pools in wadis of Diftah. Short trips with family is perfect place for weekend outing. Close to the main road, no need for 4x4 to reach the start point. Please keep the place clean, don't leave rubbish around the wadi and avoid encroaching private farms. Enjoy and stay safe.

حلو و رايق المكان، رحنا كان في مي و شلال صغير، ما بعرف اذا دايما في مي، ولا بسبب هطول الأمطار تأكدو، و كمان هايك حلوة بالطبيعة و سهلة و ممتعة

Expected so much more, but couldn't find anything there.
It was really nice being there. Cool air passing through.
Lemon trees, mango trees, banana plants and lot other.

Not at all crowdy.best get away for couple of hours.local farms nearby gives you the real local touch
