Great food with a view of the Central dome and light show. Debrata was my waiter and provided outstanding service.

It was so nice here and waiter Prasad was so kind and nice, we will be back again here more than once

To experience the traditional Emirati cuisine it's a best place. The majaz waterfront give a beautiful ambiance to the dine in. Try the traditional dishes like: majboos, jashith, harees etc end with ligemat

Ambience is really nice.we ordered samak tanoor (fish) it was very yumm.overall it was a good experience.

Very tasty and delicious Gulf food (Emirati, Saudi, Kuwaiti). Prices are reasonable. Very special thanks to the waiter Saveent for his excellent customer service and professionalism! He is one of the main reasons we would come back to Al Fanar Majaz

The food was delicious and the view is amazing.
I like Al Fanar food taste delicious like real Emirati food, I like this branch but the service was unorganized, and bring us dishes we did not order all that by mistake! As you see the spoon looks old! I asked for the new one but they bring me the same. I hope they change their spoons and forks.
Don’t miss their Karak chai. I like it and I order one more for takeaway.

We visited after watching videos on youtube about this restaurant. We were not disappointed. Its purely emirati cuisine although one cant ignore its heavily influenced by Indian cuisine. But there are notable differences to enjoy. Food was tasty and the outdoor seating was very pleasant. Best to visit during winter so you can enjoy the breeze and watch sea gulls fly around. I was quite intrigued by how the sea gulls were plenty but they kept away from the tables. They are not usually one to respect personal spaces.

Nice ambience and location with amazing view to the lake, it is an authentic Emirati cuisine, however the service is not as expected and the staff are not professional enough to handle this place, though the food was good and tasty but the prices are a bit high

We stayed in downtown for a week (across from Burj Kalifa), and we tried some “local” cuisine in the area, a number of which were pretty decent (but overpriced of course given the location). We read about this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try, which was against our hotel concierge’s recommendation - because it was a bit out of the touristy area. We took a taxi from our hotel for about 20 mins, and we were dropped off at a mall in Festival City.

Food was ok.not that spicy because it was arabic food.view was fabulous from the restaurant.that was the last food I tasted while coming back

The ambience of the restaurant is totally destroyed by an endless line up of “trainees “. No manager to follow up. Love the restaurant but this location is in desperate need change of service staff.

Perfect environment but the service is slow and some of the cuisines could be better, outdoor seating should have electronic bug killer?

The worst service ever. Staff is very slow with the service and not friendly. Eating cold. We asked for hot food, and we confirmed the request. Unfortunately, the employee came back with cold food. The meat is not ripe in the way required to eat. We asked for mint tea an hour to bring mint tea, as if the restaurant’s kitchen in the neighboring village.a beautiful location near the lake.this restaurant located in al Sharjah

Compared to other Emirati restaurants this one became more commercial and expensive rather than taking care of the quality of food and the services.

Used to be one of my go to favorite restaurants for fish (sea bream) soup and salad. But the service dropped and price increased so I stopped. But one of the best Emirati experiences in the UAE.

One of the few restaurants with authentic Emirati cuisine. Atmosphere is nice on cool days, you can eat inside or outside. On our visit we shared Shrimp Biryani (2 people). Drank the lemon and mint juice, unfortunately no picture because I drank it all The prices are a bit high though.

I loved their foods and ambience, the staffs are very accommodating, they give their customers satisfactions. I’ll love to comeback.

If you are looking emirate food. You must visit alfanar sharjah.really nice food esp. My favorite sweet (Legaimat) serve with amazing coffee and also their traditional ambience makes me feel happy and relaxing. Friendly and good service from staff. Surely recommend to all my friends.
