The south indian food here is great! It feels just like it home made. I'm always getting their masala dosa and vada. It's a standard Saturday morning breakfast kinda place.

Family style restaurant with an excellent South Indian menu and personalized warm service. I've eaten here many times and expect to continue doing so.

We've had the pleasure of savoring nearly every item on their menu, and each dish surpassed our expectations. Notably, their sambar is a true representation of authentic South Indian flavors, boasting a rich, moderately spicy profile and an abundance of well-cooked vegetables. Their dosas and idlies are consistently served with a trio of delectable chutneys: mint, coconut, and tomato/chilli.

The complimentary soup deserves special mention for its perfect blend of spiciness and vegetable goodness, while the rava Kesari, moderately sweet and piping hot, always pleases the palate.

One of the best vegetarian hotel in Abu Shagara their chutney is the best and sambar is also very tasty. You should try their dosa varieties. Best value for money. A must try restaurant in Abu Shagara.

Very good restaurant for cheating people in billing.
The price in the bill is nearly double from menu's price.

Eg. Onion dosa in menu is 8.50, but in bill it was dhs. 15.

Food and taste is good but take care while ordering.

Worst experience eating in UAE. Staff don't show basic respect and no care for the guests while having food. No staff was available in the service area at 2.00 noon on a Saturday.even to get water served i had to wait for a long time.

The worst experience had when making payment, that guy who is standing in the cashier yesterday 24.06.2022 he is holding a 2 card payment machine but he is saying the card machine is not working and no charge etc. Arguing for long time, then I said them 2.5% extra u can take it from my card, and then he is proceeding to take card payment. And his attitude is too worst.

Tasty food, we had one ghee masaladosha, one ghee roast and vada. Vada was special - soft and freshly made. I like the food.

The general menu is generally typical Tamil Nadu style. The Tamil Nadu full meals costs just AED 12 plus VAT. The unending serves of anything that you ask for is really appreciated.
The food is generally tasty, and those who prefer the authentic Tamil Nadu style of natural flavors with natural colors will like it. Didn't feel that food colors was added or artificial flavor enhancers were used.
The only thing they need to change is keeping the reserving items open in another table. There were several house flies inside the restaurant. Keeping the reserving items like chuttney, pickles, fried chilies etc were unhygienic. If they can change this practice, it would add better impression on people who like to dine in hygienic environment.
Rest other things were really good for a high middle class Tamil restaurant.

Very very bad services they will make u wait for min 1 hr to 1hr 30 mins for delivery and the Manager is even more pathetic he says its the normal delivery time even if the delivery is the next building. I would have walked if he would have informed me the normal delivery time

Madrasi restaurants are meant for breakfast items or tiffins, it is same for this place too. Some serving team does show arrogance and some doesn't care to answer for your requests. A typical medium range Indian restaurant.

They serves good south Indian breakfast.

Idli was good in taste.

Puri was nicely prepared and tasty.

Dosa was crispy and tastes good.

Coffee was normal and tea is not upto the mark.

Staff is limited and delays in serving food

I order food and waited almost 45 mins and called them back and just checked for status as I have to take tablet.but the person who answered the phone was very rude which is not good for hotel industry. Even the hotel staffs are commenting that he is rude.
The business owner should enquire on this and take action for their good. Any way that was my last order with that hotel.

The food was quality very bad, waiters are not properly responding, we wait for punjabi thali for more than 1 hour, after waiting for food we had very poor taste food, we urgue to arrogant waiter for the food not tasteable they replied if you want it then eat otherwise you can leave the food, even they didn't said, they will change the food. Even they don't speak hindi or english, very poor customer service at the same place abu sahara restorent, not worth to spend money there not good!

We had been to the restaurant.we ordered at @5.30 pm for a Rava Dosa & Puri Kurma at 5.50 pm we received the Puri Kurma at 6.pm the waiter says the he cannot get the Rava Dosa as the batter is not ready.
Moreover the place is full of houseflies, stinking, washroom is pathetic.would not recommend anyone.

Not a lavish place but too crowded, food is too good. The Vada was very crispy and even staffs are very polite friendly and deliver quick service. Rasam was so yummy and the andhra dosa was amazing. First visit and worth it. Masala dosa was too good as well along with the chutneys. North and south indian thali are so delicious as well including the sweets served with them.also the rice murukku from snacks counter is fabulous
We also took idli for parcel which was delicious. Really enjoyed our visit here.

All time favourite Onion Green Chilly Uttapam.other dishes are delicious too. NICE AND COURTEOUS service. Their onion parokas are great too including some sweets (sold over the counter).

Fantastic place for amazing south Indian food, vegetable soup is just out of this world and overall it was a very refreshing dining experience, money's worth.

Do you really think that all customers are from your state, if no then why not they speak a little English/Hindi at least to understand what we need or not need.
People also visit to have a taste of south Indian as well sometimes.

This place is so economical and their servings are very good. Worth for money. Must try place for south indian foods. The snacks which they sell are very tasty.

Tasty South Indian dishes are available. I had Masala Dosa and Ghee Mysore Pak parcelled from Madras Restaurant. It was really tasty. While writing this, my mouth is full of water. Dining in spaces are available with family area.

Very bad staff and service alot of resturant in abushagara have plenty of choice i sit this resturant 15min 1.10.20 6.15 pm 6.30pm i came out no body ask me why you come why you go i realy hungry that time its an insult for me.the worst expierience in my life now i am out side this shop making this review.pathetic resturant!

Horrible, till 10am no Tea was ready after waiting for 30mts. Items ordered were served incomplete. They have new incompetent staff. Don't go to this branch! We had to leave our breakfast and walk out to Al Hamba in Quaisis.

Good idlis and vadas. Tamil Nadu style dosa. Can improve on the taste a bit. Hard to find parking.

The snacks here are authentic and tasty, like the ones you get back in India. Has ordered Medu Vadas, reminded me of the Udupi restaurants back in Mumbai.

Good place for Tamil foods compare to Ajman. Only not bad, disappointed good, night pongal available and tasty too. Don't try North Indian dishes get disappointed, it is Tamil restaurant.

Had a really bad experience, ordered for a thali and the waiter started telling us we would get a potato dish, a dal, some rice etc. Everything was served and the quality of food was poor. And finally he brought a bill in which everything was charged seperately. He charged us for 2 bowls of rice, the subzi seperately, the dal seperately and the paratha seperatley which we didnt even order!
The thali was for 15 and the combined bill for these items was more than 40!
On asking him why they were billed seperately, he said the thali had finished thats why!
Really bad food and extremely crooked servers trying to fleece you, I would stay clear of this place to avoid such an experience again.
