The food taste and quality has deteriorated. May the cook is not as good as the previous one. Also the food prices are higher compared to other Bangladeshi restaurants.

The cook should be changed or let cook as per his expertise. The food taste was below average.

Authentic Bangladeshi food! The was great. The service was fabulous. The overall ambiance of the restaurant inside was great. Next time, we will order and take away, since the food was fabulous.

If you are a beef curry lover, with thick spicy gravy, then this is the place. Amazing good

We went from Dubai expecting to eat Mejban but Mejban was not good. The food was also cold. It's a very bad experience in Emirates.

Their morogpulao, tehari, kalabhuna and mejban these r our regular items to order. Cannot comment on other items. They r far from us yet we go over there minimum twice a month if not more. It'd be great if they open a branch in Dubai. About their service. I never saw them in a sad or irritated face. They always welcome us with a BIG smile which is very rare. Sorry that I didn't ask the name of the one who always serve us. Happy face gives a positive vibe. Keep it up.

Not sure you guys should call it a Bangladeshi restaurant. A Chatgaiyya restaurant is a fitting name isn’t it Delicious food as well. My British friend loved it!

I love this restaurant for quality food. Every time I drive around 70km just to test the tehari and morog polaw. I never get disappointed in the test. We always do bulk order. They have very good personality and receives with smile.

The egg bhuna could have been a little better but everything else was excellent. And very very well priced we came all the way from dubai

Best bengali food in UAE.
Its almost 2years for me and my wife in dubai.
We dint find any good resturant here for good authentic bengali food we go to sharjah to barcode just to eat.
I wish they had a branch in dubai.
I swear i dont even mind working and managing the place.

They're on zomato pro.
My bill was 220 Dhs.
When I asked to pay with pro at first cashier said that i should have informed earlier later he told me that the services for zomato pro is not working.
Why are you on zomato pro if you don't accept pro?

Food was average. A bit on the higher size in terms of pricing. Their mezbani which is of beef meats was good.other stuff i tasted was below average.perhaps i was late at the place!

I like their food but unfortunately they don't deliver to Dubai (charge you 25 Dh but not guaranteed).

Service need to be upgrade more. Ramadan iftar was a very bad experience. Teheri and haleem was good that's it. Overall it's OK.

Their mezbani beef and chonar dal are awesome. Really delicious. They have the bartha platter, which is also very good. You can taste the freshness. Will definitely visit there again.

Amazing place with excellent food and outstanding services from the staff. Even if you're not from Bangladesh I highly suggest byou come with your family to try on something new. Their beef paya (cow leg) tasted amazing, must try when you're there.

A good place for bengali food. They try to maintain authentic food as much possible for them. Food quality is good. But did not find any vegetable dish and sweets as well. Anyway one should try here for food. Lastly shope is well decorated with history of Bangladesh from old days to modern days. They have a place for kids to play in upstairs.

Bangladesh is a country of great cuisine, its food is one of Asia’s most underrated yet wondrous cuisines. Tasted the Bangladeshi food for the first time & was pleasantly surprised.

Barcode is a vibrantly beautiful restaurant serving authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. Restaurant is very spacious with dining area, cafe, kids play area & also a party hall. Atmosphere is very calm & soothing. Ample free parking space just in front of the restaurant which deserves a brownie point.

Tried few of their signature dishes.
The fish is a vital part of the Bangladeshi culture & needless to say, it is a must-try food, so for the starters we asked for Loitta fry (bombay duck) & Hilsa ilish fry. Very well marinated & perfectly fried. Since it was served hot, it enhanced the flavour.

Bortha platter consisted of Aloo, Egg, Eggplant, tomato & 2 types of fish bortha. Loved the taste of all immensely especially the fish & egg bortha. Murog Chicken Pulao, I'd highly recommend people to try this out. Shorshe ilish cooked in mustard gravy & Rui fish, both the gravy dishes were very flavorful with right amount of spices, went well with rice & fried fish.

Lemonade & Mint lemon, both these drinks should not be missed too. Very refreshing & tasty.

Overall, I highly recommend Barcode to any & all Bangladeshi cuisine enthusiasts. Service is excellent & pricing is very reasonable. I for one know I will be dining back at this " HIDDEN GEM " very soon!

The internal environment is good. But the external environment is not healthy.

A wonderful place, we're we have meet the Bangladesh hospitality and friendship. We tried so diversity of food from white Rice, Fried Fish, Chicken Curry, lentil and so on.nice Atmosphere, playground for kids.

One of the Best Bangladeshi Restaurant. They are expert in Beef Items. Have the greatest "Kalavoona" (Dark Stirred Fried Beef). Specialized in the special cuisine from Chitagong, "Mejbani".
Very much cost worthy. Nice interior and very friendly waiters.

Mesban package was good, but there is room for improvement. Cleanliness was upto the mark.fresh bean coffee was good.

I would recommend lemonade, the best of all in this heat it was really refreshing.
Firni was the best, but I think they should increase 1 or 2 dhs and increase the quantity in those small parcel bowl.
Chonor daal and beef was actually authentic, even the aroma. And chini gura Murag pulao was just good.

I am from india living 17 years in U. A. E. I have taken by my bangladeshi friend which at first i hesitated thought of KFC. An excellent option for Bangladeshi community where our most favourite mejban is brought form Bangladesh to UAE. Barcode is one of, if not the best Bengali cuisine restaurant out there! Would definitely recommend people to come here for their first authentic Bengali food experience. Hoping you open a branch in Dubai, so I could go there more often!

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Food is stunning and enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. Guys highly recommende.

Loved this restaurant, came here with my family. Food was excellent, hygiene standards were on point. Disposable plates used for covid regulations. They have a play area upstairs for children, tables are nicely spaced out. Service from Ronnie was great too, Definitely a 5 star rating.

Amazing authentic Bangladeshi food specialized mostly in Chittagong district cuisine, amazing special mezban platter, akhni biriyani and the best of all murog polau. Not to forget the nostalgic ambience and excellent service. Definitely going back again for more with family, friends and whoever else I can find.

A Bangladeshi restaurant chain recently open in Sharjah. They bring chittagong authentic mejban to UAE. Tried sevarel time and its really good.

One of best authentic Mezbani beef I had in U. A. E.which reminds me of Chottagram and plus very good ambiance which takes you back to history of Bangladesh.

Finally one of the best Bangladeshi cuisine restaurant in UAE has arrived. I have already visited twice both with friends and family. The staffs are friendly and service is very good. All covid restrictions are properly followed and i felt safe for me n my family. My most recommended dish would be akhni pulao which is delicious and their tender kala bhuna. Don’t forget to end ur visit in this hot summer with the refreshing and unique lemon and mint juice.
