Lucky Star Restaurant

On the morning of October 20,2023, I placed an order for a rice and curry lunch pack from Lucky Star Restaurant at around 10: 30 AM, even though it was technically during breakfast hours. Surprisingly, the order taker accommodated my request and promised to have the food delivered at 11: 45 AM. True to their word, the meal arrived punctually and was served piping hot. The delivery person was quick, also exceptionally courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I rated this very high previously, but my recent visit was very disappointing. The staff was moody. I thanked them for serving but they had no regard for my visit to their business. The vegetable bun was stale.

Sufficient portions and surroundings were alive. Shawarma is made with fresh ingredients and live in front of customers. Pol roti and Bread was delicious; best Sri lankan food in Sharjah.

The food is very tasty but the customer service is zero. The boy in the cashier is behaving very badly.

Disappointing location.

After going to the restaurant and even waiting for more than 40 minutes, the ordered order cannot be received. They use customers who are waiting to have food in the restaurant to be seen by people outside the restaurant, delaying their orders. It's a waste of time to have food here. You will never have to eat for the money you pay. When we call and ask to order it was very good, They said that there is a large portion of it. But that meal is not enough for even one person.

I’d asked for a chicken fried rice and the chicken pieces are so tiny that you’d need a microscope to find them if there’s any at all in this rice. Please do not cheat your customers, show some respect for the money you take.

If you are looking for oriental, chinese and asian taste. I recommend Lucky star for their variety menu.

The food is tasty. Employees are very kind and helpful. They are very friendly and would do everything to make you satisfied. Prices are affordable too. Must try if you are looking for Sri Lankan taste.

Garbage food and the owner is a disrespectful person. When I called to say the food is tasteless he said the starter platter we ordered was designed for low class people and he has much better dishes but didn’t offer us coz they are pricey! He offers them to a selected crowd only. Never again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

They serve anything Sri Lankan.
From short eats to mains. If you crave for some Sri Lankan cuisine in sharjah thence Lucky is the place.

Please dont order anything except the shorteata from this place.the person who cooks here has absolutely no knowledge about cooking. Ordered a chicken curry. Sent a version of a curry with two boiled pieces chicken dumped in to it. Could taste the rawness 9f the spices. NO wonder the place is empty most of the time compared to the Sri lankan restaurant in Rolla. Horrible

Yammy srilankan food. Delivery was amazing on time delivery and friendly delivery boy. Little expensive compare to other srilankan restaurants like Colombo Bakery but taste is okay. Friendly staff as usual in srilankan restaurant. Go their and try if you like srilankan food. But hoppers are not recommended.roasted bread are best to eat.
