We used Reef Movers and Packers’ services on 17-Mar-23 for moving from a 3BR apartment in Gardens to one in Karama. Right from the time of quoting for the work (Aslam) to the actual moving (Kader and his team), the team was extremely professional and efficient. They finished the entire move including all plumbing, curtain fixing and all wall hangings in 9 hours. The quality of work was very good. Definitely recommend them as the team is value for money.

This is the second time I'm using them. This time I called Aslam from Reef Movers, sent him both the locations and handed over the keys. When I came back the moving was completed; they were just waiting for me to tell them where the pictures need to be hanged. "Don't trust this people" is the only thing I can say. Probably none of the companies are 100% perfect. 2013 was my 1st shifting with reef movers, wasn't too happy but thankfully no damage. 2021 considering their offer, I thought I will try them again.

During shifting they were trying to be extremely professional by showing us the damaged areas and goods. But after shifting the number of goods they damaged was plenty. When I reported to the main office, they were kind enough to say sorry and they said they will take serious action against workers and provide replacement to the goods. Until now no information. Broke Fish tank, lamp stand, blankets and many small items.

Mr Aslam and his team did a fantastic job in moving our apartment. Even though very disappointed from their operations team. Do not reply to mails and do not keep the words. Mr Joseph seems to be very careless and do not respect the customers. Very good movers and sales team.

Mr Aslam assured for the best service and provided a competitive Quote, once you send the photos. After agreeing, they shall provide you with few cartoon box for you to pack your personal things. On the day of shifting they reached on time, very professional behavior, no extra talking - work and leave.

You can be sure that nothing will go missing or left behind. All the fragile items were wrapped in a separate bubble wrap and handled carefully.
Fridge items were packed in a cold box including the vegetables.

The work was done much before we expected and service was very fast and professional.

Everything from a 2 Bhk to a villa was shifted within 7 hours to be precise.

Last week we had a move to our new 1BHK apartment. This mover was recommended by one of our friend.
These guys do not deliver what is promised during evaluation and will blame the customer for the lies told by their team member/s during the move. The lies are told very professionally and confidently where the customer will literally feel he has misunderstood what was decided earlier. No coordination, no supervision or representation of Reef was present nor called to find the status.
It did seem there is no coordination between teams. Site location sent to one guy will not pass on to the surveyor and the surveyor will not tell the pickup guys as to what the quantity is they need to move. They subcontracted the work to free lancers who works for this company for as movers but does other work like painting, cleaning etc. The subcontractor is asking for photographs about the quantity of stuff to be moved. (Mr. Chris, I think I should have told you this as well, right?)
Chris came for evaluation, and we decided on cost, date etc. I was told by Chris there will be a supervisor to take care of things. (of course, how can a supervisor be there with a freelancer or subcontractor) Things were packed or should say few things were dumped in boxes (Utensils and few other items were packed with drawers without using common sense.) Boxes were not marked nor numbered.
Handles of cupboards were attached inside out to save space and from damage (appreciated), but were left as it is after placing it into the new apartment. The cupboard, bed, washing machine was connected and when it came to arranging things in new apartment, I was told this is done by costumers themselves and we only open the boxes to show the customer that things are in good shape. Our work is to attach the dismantled stuff and deliver other stuff. I paid them what was decided and gave them tip as well.
Next day I come to know from my friend, these guys need to arrange things as well and I called and spoke to Chris, he did not know this was not done and he asks the subcontractor to speak to me. Subcontractor calls me and to my surprise he too did not know this was to be done and have been left pending and his guy told me this is done by customer. By this time, we had arranged about 80-90 % stuff staying up late night. Subcontractor offers to come to my home to help but repeatedly blames me for not letting him know to what had happened. I find this absolutely ridiculous, to blame a customer for something he trusted you and paid you for and then putting a blame on customer. When I speak about this to Chris again, he says he cannot do anything about this but will call back after speaking to Ahmed – the supervisor who was not there. (Ali was leading the team and who and where was Ahmed I still do not know).
Chris has still not called back as expected. By the way he asked us to write a complain in review. Thank you Chris for being unprofessional and what shall I say about a person who do not have guts to call back and face a customer.

I had a movement last week and they did everything in shortest time without any damage.also they continue their job for fixing the things in second day which shown their responsibly.before I had bad experience with other moving company but the gave me a very good and happy experience for the movement. I really recommend them to all.

Team was punctual responsive and the company staff was too good. Our move from Sharjah to Abudhabi was smooth and we didn't notice any damage of our items. Shifting went well as expected and we are Happy.

Were on time and got everything done well and fixed everything in it's place after moving into the new apartment. The workers were helpful with the handy work.

Worse company ever. Please do not waste your hard earned money sending your cargo through Reef Movers. My parents have sent their cargo from Dubai to Delhi in May 2021. It is October now and yet their cargo hasn't reached their residence. Upon calling Reef they don't seem to know where exactly the cargo is. We filed a complaint with the consumer department and when they contacted Reef they assured to them in writing that the cargo would reach its destination by 25th Sep at the very latest. However that hasn't happened. Their employee Harish who we have been dealing with does not pick up our calls and doesn't reply to emails. On the occasions that he picked up the phone he showed very bad attitude and kept saying different things. Even if there was delay beyond their control it is their job to keep us updated every now and then so that we don't get worried. It was always us who were following up with them. We have now filed another complaint with the consumer department and they are looking into it. This is my parents entire household stuff that has gone missing as they are moving to Delhi permanently. If you have any shame you will sort out this matter at the earliest. My husband has been following up on this matter every single day as he in Dubai and my parents are not in the UAE anymore. They have no empathy and don't care about anyone's plight. I think they have stolen my parents cargo. I urge everyone to avoid dealing with this company at any cost.

I engaged Reef Movers to dismantle where applicable, pack, transport to warehouse and stack all the contents of my 2-bed apartment from furniture to kitchenware to whites, literally everything you can think of, and the job was done superbly and efficiently, and was completed in under 4 hours!
The coordination before the actual job was committed was handled by Mohammed who was very professional and attentive and proactive in providing solutions in a very reassuring manner, and after the job was done, he surely lived up to what he promised, and more.
The team that handled the actual work on the day was punctual and super good, fast, and neat and the team leader Ajmal was extremely professional and amazing, and was supervising and paying attention to everything that was being done by his team, while being fully involved in actual work himself too.

The guys were amazing. Packed, moved and unpacked my things in record time. They placed everything in the new place and worked tirelessly all day to make sure my move was smooth. I would highly recommend them.

Friendly staff during the assessment and shifting, They assisted in scrapping some old stuff too. Shifting was executed in proper time. Arrangement at new location also was done pretty decently. However my Washing machine, which was working fine till shifting stopped functioning after shifting to the new apartment. Defineitly damaged during the shiftiing process. Ended up purchasing a new washing machine. The Master bed also was not installed correctly. There is still gap in the frame. When contacted they said they would send someone but no one came. Packing of all smaller and breakable items were very professional and with safety.

They did not deliver as per the promises made during the evaluation visit. They subcontracted the whole work to another subpar movers (& this showed in their work) without informing and not a single representative of Reef was present nor called to find status.
Since the packing done was a complete mishmash and movers had no recollection of what goes where, as well as how to connect simple LED TV, I ended up spending the next 1 week unpacking all the boxes and fixing the electronics. Reef did not respond to date to my message (move was on 20May'21or provide any explanation for their unprofessionalism.
I would give only 1 star, but putting in 2 star because all items were moved (though 1 or 2 broken) and the subcontractors did assemble the storage bed, cupboard and showcase.

The teams are amazing and professional from the time I did my inquiry, team’s flat visit to give the best and reasonable price without hidden charges and up to carrying out all our things to our new apartment smoothly and hassle free. They even give us some boxes for free on the day of moving out which we didn’t expect. Communications with the team were easy.
