Fish curry meal was fantastic. A good place to grab an everyday lunch and they served additional curries as required. The sardine fry was excellent. Chapathi was very soft.
Tried their tender coconut payasam which was not over the top but worth trying.

Ambeint and service is good, but not happy with the tasted.

The price is bit higher compared to the taste and quality.

Need to improve their recipies and meet to the optimal taste.

No taste at all wast money

Second veg palwo veg raw not cooked properly just colour rice and sprinkle little vegetables
Third egg schezwan noodles
It like burji noodles no taste like schewan noodles at all see photo schewan colour

The food was awesome, I feel the keen curry like from my home. Porotta no raksha, it’s really feel like a Malabar taste.

Caller who is been appointed to attend call should have a minimum respect to the customers. Disrespectful way how your employee is talking to customer today while we are following up for food. We are not asking for free food, instead we are paying as per your tariff.

Food here is absolutely tasty, no hesitation to order fish here because it was always fresh and tasty, the people are very prompt and they give you best advise on portion size so we don't end up wasting food or order excessively. It has become my go to destination for Keralite cravings ️

Tried chicken biryani from this restaurant, biryani was good. This is located in Food court of Ansar mall.

3/5 for chicken biryani.

Food is not good. Chicken nadan curry was worst. Price also very high,
26.50 DHS for One chicken curry.

We had grilled fish once from there. It was cooked well but when they serve it one side became soggy

Regular customer of this restaurant for years. Ordered 2 fruit salad with Vanilla ice cream. Extremely disappointed with quality & quantity of cut fruits.

Tried Fish Curry Meals. One of the best place to try for. Taste's very good.

Also tried Crab Roast. Loved it. The way it was cooked and the masala was highlight.

Had chicken & mutton biryani from this place, chicken biryani was good but mutton biryani was not upto make complimentary payasam was good

I would higly recommend their seafood dishes. Never disappointed in my experience. Decided to have normal meals with king fish fry this time. I wish they served a bigger portion of fish though it was priced rightfully. The curries and payasam served with rice were all tasty.

The worst Biryani I ever ate is from this Salkara restaurant. I went there this week to have some lunch and I ordered there special pothi Briyani to be honest I felt like eating a day before yesterdays briyani that just heated it and gave it to me just worst means like it doesn’t worth for the money I paid. 2 piece chicken was there 1 was cooked but the other piece chicken I tasted the raw flavor of the chicken not at all well cooked + the masala and the rice everything so so dry the only think which I liked from there was just the hot water nothing else fully disappointed I hope they would improve it

It was well organized and the sanitary was also without complaints.
As for the food I had a great time there.

It was Soo good. & The accompaniments also to good.chutney.payar.pappad.the packing of the food extra ordinary.thank you the chef.and packing boy.delivery also no too much time.
Price also too small.as a customer 100% satisfied.

Great food, had vegetarian food this time but it wasn't that bad, I fell in love with their food the first time I had it, you guys are doing wonders. No doubt it's one of the best food I had in a long time in Dubai.

We called up Salkara restaurant and ordered veg meals. It is one of the best delivery we have ever recieved. Well packed, most importantly tasty food and enough quantity for 2 people.recommend it.we will try again for sure.

After publishing my below review, I received a call from the Restaurant manager Mr. Jignesh. He patiently listened to my concerns and assured that they will improve the food and the quality. In fact, the polite behavior and the positive attitude of Jignesh was very impressive. It is nice to know that there are excellent Managers like Jignesh. Hats off to Jignesh and the customer support. I am sure that they will improve their food quality.

We ordered Schezwan fried rice, Beef Ularthiyathu and parotta. Schezwan was too spicy and it doesn't tasted like Schezwan. There was no Schezwan sauce added in the rice. In short it tasted like a Kerala fried rice. Beef was also too spicy but was ok. Parotta was dry and tasteless.overall, the food was not good as expected. The quality and taste which they had before is not now in their foods. They have to concentrate on the quality and also its hard time to improve the taste. The food was delivered on time. The delivery boy was very polite and delivered fast.

The best place to have malayali cuisine in Sharjah. The lemon grilled and nadan fry fish is a must try. The food isn’t overly spicy and tastes really good.

Poor quality food and over priced, ordered fish biriyani and waited for 1 hour then they delivered chicken biriyani but ok that can be considered as human mistake but the quantity and quality was really bad.
Never had such experiences from any other restaurants so far.

Never ever order for home delivery.they take 2 hours atleast.happened many times and they don't seem to be bothered if you keep calling them.it looks like they don't care!

Very bad experience. Order fish curry on 01/03/2020 and it was bad smelling and spoiled spending 35 AED for the same. 1 star for the beef fry ordered on the same time. Never expected like these services from Salkara.

Highly recommend for Keralalites taste buds. I had mango fish curry, fish biriyani believe me it's do delicious compare to other Malabari restaurants. Looking forward for more amazing cuisines. 5 star rating from my end on food.

I had ordered food for my Son's Birthday.
The food was really good. The manager Rashid was very cooperative.
The price was affordable and more over they were very punctual.
I recommend Salkara.

Good place for kerala style food although quality of food taste is gettig compromised certain times

Lovely Mallu food. We thought of ordering chicken lollypop as a starter, but the Chetan there suggested payyoli (fry or something - a chicken dish). Absolutely loved it. The prawn tawa fry was finger licking good. Scrumptious Mallu food. Biryani was just ok though. Their on the house paayasam was too good that we ordered one whole cup again! Biryani tea was a speciality and one of my friends ordered that again! Tasty food. (Y)

Malayali cuisine.authentic.not a great ambiance.but the food is good and the price is not very expensive

Behaviour of supervisor staff services are very bad and rude.suppliers are very kind ful.food are very tasty except sometimes.good atmosphere.

The so called "pothi biriyani" was not fresh.seemed like made some time and kept in food warmer covered with aluminium foil. It was expensive also.

For lunch pls do not opt for pothi biriyani. Thats a thattipp. Go for meals.may b a good option.

The positives first - Good food. The food was really good with a reasonable price and the portions were also sufficient.
The Ambiance. The ambiance of the restaurant was really good.
Negative would be the service. The positives of the food was negated by the service standard. Here not complaining about all the service staff. There was this person who served us (so based on my experience with this single person, also another order taker I observed attending to another table), taking our orders that is what he did actually. His service standard was below par. The saving grace in the service, was the staff who actually brought the food to our tables.
Would suggest the place for the food taste, but not for the service quality.

If you long for some nice Kerala style meals, fish curry, fish fry etc this place is a must visit! Place maintains the same standard and quality as set by their branch near Stadium metro station.
