Very tasty Sri lankan rice and curry parcel reasonably priced. Very kind and courteous staff. Can improve on the short eats, but still good. Some of the dishes are slightly more expensive than other nearby Sri Lankan restaurants.

Tasty Good food which make you feel like home, nice atmosphere, kind staff, just little bit low space available for dine-in. And parking is located behind the building. So if you are first time arriving at the place make note or contact them before reaching.

Friendly staff serving best service and clean environment with feel having food in good restaurant in sri lanka. Great place to visit. Bit expensive price than usual. But comparing with taste and food quality and good quality ingredients that price considerable. Many of food selections and sri lankan roast pan with curry and coconut sambal also good option. And sri lankan desert also good and great experience.

The food served tasted good, atmosphere not so much. Decoration could use some work and would be much appreciated if i wasnt served microwaved curries.

Marvelous experience for Sri Lankan cuisine. The request was to make the dishes less spicy, so the Eastern European could handle it. Nasi Goreng has very rich taste and feels not dry. Everything went above expectations. Recommend it to experience authensity of the cuisine.

Recently ordered rice and curry from here but was disappointed when the food was delivered cold. Recommend to deliver hot food. Dine in is good but takeaway needs to improve.

One of the best restaurant in UAE, gedara wage feeling. Keep up the good work, enjoying having food with them for a long time and they didn't compromise on quality and qty.

This is my frist experience with this place. Ordered food 12.09 pm and followed up several times to get our food. I got my food at 1.40pm.

Best place to have Sri Lankan food in Dubai. Food tastes really good. Really appreciate the help and the promptness of the staff, specially of Mr. Dinesh. 100% recommended.

This is the worst Sri lankan Resturant in Dubai. Delivery time takes more than 2-3 hours and after 2-3 hours of follow ups same response every times “ delivery guys are not available “.

Really good food and nicely packed that too for an affordable price.
We have tried thier noodles, devil chicken, buttery goodnes, nasigoreng and everything went out really tasty and yummy). WIll try more from here.

Excellent food and good service. You can get your taste buds fill with Sri Lankan flavors and many varieties you never enjoyed before in dubai.

It was my first time encounter with Srilankan cuisine and was a wonderful experience for my taste buds. Well sanitised area, friendly staff and great food.

Portions well up to the price.complimentary crunch starters were served. I tried srilankan breads, devilled chicken, kothu chicken and to end with a sweet biscuit desert.

Thambapanni Restaurant serves amazing authentic Srilankan food. Its a small cute restaurant which is neatly and cleanly maintained. We tried several authentic dishes like Seeni Sambal Bun, Fish Bun, Hot Butter Cuttlefish, Seafood Chopseuy, Chicken Kothuparotta, Nasi Goreng, Wood Apple Juice. All dishes were tasty out of which Kothuparotta, Hot Butter Cuttlefish and Seeni Sambal Bun are a must try. The staffs were friendly and good customer service.

Thambapanni is a recently rebranded and revamped Sri Lankan restaurant which was taken over by a new management.

We started with the wood apple juice. It has a bit of musky and spicy flavour to it. You might have to develop a taste for it, but I really liked it.

Sri Lankans have a various buns as small bites, and the restaurant has these too. They got us the fish bun, and the chicken bun which were really nice.

My favourite perhaps was the seeni sambol. This is a bun filled with spiced caramelized onions. It has a sweet and spicy flavour to it and you should surely check it out.

A street food item that's very popular is the Kottu roti. It is made by chopping Sri Lankan flatbread, and adding spices and vegetables and / or meat. It is a little spicy and I totally devoured it.

After that we had the seafood chopsuey. It had a bit of an Asian flavour to it but was different from the ones you'd have usually had.

There's also a Sri Lankan version of Nasi Goreng which they got us next. It was fried rice with a half fried egg, and grilled chicken leg. It was quite nice although I think I like the traditional version better.

Another item that is like an appetiser is the hot butter cuttlefish. It is crispy and spicy. I loved the taste as well as the texture and I surely recommend it.

Last, but not the least, we tried the Sri Lankan egg hoppers. These are crispy towards the edges and soft and fluffy in the middle. You can have them with the spicy sambal sauce or curry.

Overall, I really liked the place. They have some nice offerings and the food is fantastic.
