I Think for this area, best keralite restau. Biriyani was nice . service was good . still they need to improve fish items . but over all above average at this area.

Calicut Grill in Umm Al Quwain offers delicious food with a variety of options, though prices are a bit on the expensive side. The menu's diversity is a plus, providing plenty of choices. Parking can be a bit challenging in the evening, but the overall atmosphere is pleasant. The friendly staff adds a positive touch to the dining experience.

Superb malabar biriyani, nice Kerala meals with lot of sides, and very reasonable rates. Highly recommend.

I ordered food, since 1 hour I was waiting for it, in the end I got answer KOT was missed in kitchen so if I will order food to you I have to take care of my order. So funny

Best Kerala meals with good service u can get in UAQ. As I am from AUH.and do travel to all Emirates for work.worth the money.they took just 12 aed for a full fleged meal that is work atleast 18 in AUH.

Nice food, friendly staff, the kearla beef fry and beef curry with coconut pieces (thenga kothu) is my favorite here.

Their meal is soo yummy and delicious. It's a must try.
Around 10 items are there, which are one better than the other.

Have tried other items also, never got disappointed other than one time when a grilled was tried.
Snakcs are really good.
And the staffs are very good, polite and honest.

For pakistanis food is a little bit spicy. The food, service and atmosphere is impressive. Especially chicken charcoal.

One of the good restaurants in umm Al quwain, UAE. Specially focused on South Indian food and the charcoal items. Must try their charcoal.

Chicken Charcoal is great and we ordered platter in which they served top notch varieties of food. I strongly recommend this restaurant. It's also a long drive from Dubai. Overall nice experience. Price is reasonable.

The quality of food, but service is not impressive at all, too many staff running on the floor but no guidance, productivity, also not using a system to take order, delivering wrong orders to the guest, noticed while i am having meals there.who spend money to build this restaurant focus on this.as tht restaurant have lots of potential.

Food is ok. We bought mix grill from there, but it was not up to mark. Taste was just ok. I didn't like all the masala flavours, also grilled chicken was also normal. We also tried grilled fish (trevally) it was also normal. I cannot say they are must try but you can just eat. But there customer service dealings and attitude is very much appreciatable.

No tissues, no mineral water…in fact kids were choking, no papad for biriyani, so many waiters going up and down laughing, joking, but no one to serve the clients…food quality gone down, and quantity as well.

It used to be the best place in Umm ul Quwain for Malabari authentic Tea & Snacks. But the Tea maker/barista changed, So is the Old Tea Taste.

They charge the complementary soup, very bad soup, it's like a hot water not a soup, they charge also for the complementary soup, very bad experience.

Will give a 4* for their hospitality one of the good restaurant where i can get a good biryani for a reasonable price in umm al quwain. They had dum chicken biryani and was priced at 10 aed. The quantity was well enough and also the flavor. I think as i went around 9 pm, i felt the rice as little cold. Has to mention that the guy who took my order was good, he was calm and totally cool while taking the order. Maybe because of the time i went. But will definitely visit again.

Excellent destination for tasty South Indian food. Also available are grilled. Do try their Green Chilli Charcoal and Chicken Roast with Parotta finishing off with a great Samovar Tea.

Very economic rate, recommended for families as well.

To begin with! The food is delicious. Free home delivery is a good thing but it takes forever to deliver. Upsetting fact: The portion of curries are not up to the standard. Ordered a large portion of Garlic Chicken and it was hardly enough for one.

I absolutely loved this place, before getting to the food let's talk about the restaurant. The seating arrangement was very comfortable and wide. They also had an outdoor seating arrangement which was very neat. The staff was very generous and friendly. The service was quick too. It seemed like the staff truly cared about our experience. Now about the food, they had a lot of variety on their menu we ordered a mix grill, butter chicken and vegetable Manchurian. All of these were extremely tasty and well prepared. Each dish was so flavorful. We also got complementary soups as an appetizer and strawberry pudding at the end. I was shocked when I saw the Bill because the price was so reasonable considering the delicious food and the quick service. I had a fantastic experience. If you're looking for great taste with reasonable price and friendly service I Highly recommend you to visit Calicut grill!

Worst customer service ever. Its been more than half n hour for sombody to take order from you. Nobody will come to you for asking the order, you hav to approach them.incase if restaurant bearer taken the order from you not bring the food to you unless asking them repeatedly. I have experienced very bad services from them. Not recommending to anyone

I guess the success of a hotel depends not only on the taste of the food but also on the hospitality. It is professional to inform the time when you are sure that the dish is yet to be prepared rather than saying "it will be ready in 5 minutes" for 3rd time!

Food quality is bad, fish and the chicken are soo tiny comparing with other restaurants. I dont recommend eating there

You have to wait 20-25min for your food (below average) to be served by the waiters with their bare hands. Gross!

Tasty beef and chicken dum biryani.fish biryani is not up to mark.
Tea and snacks are also good.

I ordered dragon chicken, chicken 65, porottas, kothu porottas chicken & beef, chicken grill pepper.food is good except for dragon chicken. Dragon chicken not tasted good.
The negative part is we had to wait more than one hour to get our order.in the middle of a trip it was total wastage of time.so little disappointed with the delivery

I had a very awesome experience. We had biryani for lunch and it was mouthwatering, they serve you meals in banana leaf and with biryani we had many side dishes. Ambience is good they have managed the space constrain intelligently. The price is cheap and very clean. Good staff. Must visit once atleast for biryani.

Who is the person there in reception who handles the calls? Very rude and unprofessional he is. I used to call there regularly. He is always like that. Waiting for long after ordering if we call them again to check status they will not accept call also will disconnect.

Very good place for indian food specially South Indian.
Neat clean and hygiene place and the staff of restaurant is very humble and good in nature.
Daily i used to have my breakfast and dinner.
And the fresh milk tea is the specialty of this restaurant.

This is the best biryani I ever had in entire Umm Al Quwain.

They even put a hot water which is healthy.

It's very clean restaurant.

If only they use powder for chilli pepper in rice instead I would definitely will rate it 5 stars as I like to eat straight without removing.
