Señor Gonzales - Cocina Mexicana

Stopped by this place on a road trip because we were craving Mexican and we weren't disappointed! The food was very tasty and fresh and the service was excellent. I just wish the burrito was bigger, should have ordered two, we will definitely stop by again!

We went here for the empanadas. As a lot of people have said they were good. And they were absolutely right. The empanadas (5 small pcs/ 39aed) were nice. I think the pastry of the empanada made it great. We ordered 1 beef, 2 cheese jalapeño, and 2 chicken. But we ended up getting no chicken, 4 cheese jalapeño and 1 beef. We didn't really complain as they were good enough and satisfied my empanada craving.

We also had the Torta (39aed), which is sort of a beef sandwich. It wasn't the best as the bun was soggy. So not recommended. It would have been vetter if they toasted the bun to keep it from being soggy.

Lastly we had the shrimp Tacos (3pcs / 39aed) They were quite good with the battered shrimp. The sauce can be a little runny. I prefer mine a little thicker.

Overall it was a good meal. I don't think I would drive all the way to Khawaneej for Tacos and empanadas. But if ever I'm in the area, maybe I'll do it again.

It's located in an industrial area. Parking is free, but might be a bit tough if there are trucks parked. We went on a weekend.

Tacos are not authentic, the shrimp taco was okay i couldve done better
1- nachos were so oily also like crackers not chips
2- dynamite chicken taco was way too sweet took away from the flavor
3- didn’t have the pulled beef
4- small portion of guacamole

I tried the tacos and the quesadilla.they tasted fine. But unfortunately it was full of oil specially the bread and the taco. I really recommend reducing all that oil it will taste fresher and healthier.

I tried the pulled beef taco it was okay but you can’t taste the beef because the amount of beans

Good and spicy Mexican food but i have tasted much better places before. The only annoying thing about the location of the restaurant that its too far and not really worth the long drive and waiting … maybe they have delivery service around the area which helps the neighborhood

This place disappointed me. The rave about it doesn't worth it. Nothing from what we ordered was tasty.

They bake everything fresh at the restaurant including their delicious tortilla chips. Authentic Mexican flavors with super fresh ingredients. One of Dubai’s hidden gems.

Food is amazing but dinning in not so comfortable and its not good for big families or more then 4 friends

I bought some frozen empanadas? From Señor Gonzales to heat up at home. I highly recommend it to anyone and will definitely get some more.

The food is so good and fresh BUT portions are too small! Especially nachos, they’re quite pricey at 34dhs and portion is too small. Flavors are just delicious though! Always a treat when coming back from Fujairah!

Mexican restaurant servicing juicey burgers. Soo good they are located in warehouse. Abit far from the reach but worth the drive. Loved the service and food. Try their burger!

Excellent food. If you want authentic mexican food this is the best place in Dubai. Their tacos and burritos are out of this world. The cheese empanada is a must.

Tried the beef burrito which i won't really recommend at all, but there is a very big (BUT) the chicken quesadilla is absolute FIRE. Must try overall 3/5

Authentic Mexican food. Some of the best I’ve tasted. Food is prepared from scratch, melts on the tongue, and tingles the senses. 100% would recommend.

If there’s something for sure about this place, it would be that is an absolute hidden GEM. I’m VERYY picky when it comes to Mexican food, but this place left me absolutely speechless! Their food is delicious, very satisfying and tastes like HOMEMADE authentic Mexican food! The service and cleanliness of the restaurant is also ON POINT. I was served quickly and the waiter was very helpful. 10/10!
