The Dunes

What a beautiful little gem amongst the dunes! The rooms were basic and had the most important things, and were clean. One doesn't need much in the desert anyway. The staff and the entire team of this camp are really what make the difference, right from when we booked to the guys at the gate, the reception gentleman, the entertainment deck team, the servers, and have to specially mention the guy who was at the breakfast. The food served also was fine, and the breakfast put together was better than expected. Would love to come back and spend some more time here and hit the dunes before we settle in the camp, actually! Thanks, everyone.

Fantastic experience, driven around the beautiful desert. My driver and guide was actually the owner, generous and welcoming.

Only problem is that food is all south indain they should aad some continental food. Otherwise its 5 star

The safari ride was wonderful. The enterteinment also. The staff is pleasent and nice. The food great. I Recomend it.

Celebrated my mom' birthday at Dunes Safari. It was a rare experienced. We stayed in tree house. Though it was raining yet they made it special for us. They provided complimentary cake for my mom and give us unlimited tour within the vicinity. The staff are amazing.

This is my second visit. Every year I make sure to come here and enjoy one night stay at Dunes.
The hospitality and the stay is fabulous.
There are many things to do at the camp - horse riding, camel riding, buggies ATVs to ride around.
Evenings comes with the package of programs including belly dance, fire dance, DJ, dessert drive, etc.
Food arrangements are also great depending on what you need. The dunes team makes sure to make you smile.

Well its located in Ras al khaimah near by the ritz carlton resort but the way is bit difficult to find so i would like to suggest they should put more sign boards on the way, you can take small cars as well so dont worry about the 4x4 vehicles. They do have different types of huts & ️ on different prices, toilets also available and some shower booth also there, prayer room, ablusion, sheesha bar, drinks bar also available, food was good specially breakfast was fresh n delicious, after 11pm till 7am quiet hours so you must be respectful for other tourists. The main important thing is there is No charging docs only 2-3 socket’s available so you must carry your own power bank & charging cables if you’re lucky to get sockets available, free tea coffee, sand board surfing also available, horse & camel rides are on charges, henna tattoos also chargeable but small design is free.

Great place for camping enthusiasts. Surrounded by desert, the camp site, the living facilities and recreational facilities were fantastic. Belle dancing and fire dancing were really good. Good place for family or group of friends to stay and enjoy the desert.

Good for weekend… Friendly staff… Have drinks and water for free. Alcohol is available… not that expensive… Dinner and breakfast available with the package… Have evening activities like belly dance and fire show which is good … also free camel/horse ride and sand board…

dinner barbecue counter staffs are making some restrictions for serving which i feel not good…

It’s a nice place to visit in the winter and you need a big car because or the roads on the way there, you can go with a small car but it will be a bit difficult for people that don’t know how to drive with a small car in the sandy road

Loved the experience of living in a desert and the team at the Dunes it was an amazing experience, especially the trees houses and hutsthe staffs were very cooperative and helpful, desert ride was amazing, thnks to mohameed, sanjay, we could meet lovely people. Worth visit for everyone

This was a great excursion from being picked up by Imran who by the way has a great sense of humour to arriving and meeting other colleagues yes you get asked to buy items but if you don't want politely say no and no problem.
We had our camel ride for which Misha took photos it's a photo shoot really then into the area to wait for imran to call us to get in the jeep.
There were a few jeeps in our group and in ours we were made up of 4 imran the driver misha the photographer me and my wife.
What can I say 1st time doing this and we both really enjoyed heart dropped a couple of times with the drops but well worth the thrill.
When all finished back to camp for some food and entertaining dancer, fire eater dancer and last the belly dancer she was so good and quite funny but the whole thing was good. To end up the day we saw the photos misha took we never buy photos from these people but when we started to look we loved every single one misha got us just right
If you get chance don't miss this trip we'll worth it

Great experience, we had a jeep road trip in the desert. We had a great driver, explaining everything, listening to all we requested.
The main event is a candy.great show with perfect dinner in an authentic place.
All the crew was very thoughtful and made us feel welcome.

Best place to have relax especially stay in TreeHouse. Calm and relax, friendly staff, Good Dinner and Buffet Breakfast. Fireshow is so nice.recommended place for relax

Loved the experience of living in a desert and the team at the Dunes had done everything to make us get a authentic feel of the desert. Clean and beautiful pods and tree houses, great entertainment, great food, and great views of sunrise and sunset.

However rooms needs a face uplift n more soothin colours of curtains.
Food needs a major upgrade

What an experience! I highly suggest the place if you want to experience glumping for a reasonable price! We rented a deluxe dome that includes half board meal and fun activities. The food was delicious, the staff are okay, the only thing I did not like was the checkin and checkout timings.

The place is a must go. 450 aed for dome style tent accommodation.best and economical substitute for a desert safari.al though its twice the price of desert safari you get an overnight stay breakfast dinner sheesha bonfire camel ride and same safari entertainment.as it was our anniversary they gave us an upgrade too.
