Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel

Horrible start to my weekend stay because of ONE hateful employee at the reception. Told me the only way to go to my room (which was far) was through walking. I walked a LOT carrying multiple bags thinking maybe this hotel wasn't "up to date" then I realize they had carts all over the place. I talk to the receptionist (someone else) about this later and he says there's only one cart in the entire hotel (lies) and kept giving groundless excuses that didn't add up. Rooms were nice and my stay was fine but that honestly is still triggering me.like why would someone lie about that? Even if you had no carts available. I could've waited if that was an option. I had to even search for my room number all over (WHILE carrying my bags.) cause that was my first - and most likely my last - stay there. It's as the receptionist said though "This is a small hotel". Indeed.

My friends and I.always go there when fed-up.to re-establish our soul. Nice hotel nice daylight gathering Khima.we all go back with recharge batteries.thanks to the owner thanks to administration

Spent last weekend there. The weather was surprisingly great. Helped me enjoy the place. Its lowkey and quiet which i love. Family friendly and my child enjoyed her self so much. I like their pool but some of the tiles scratched me slightly. Their beach is so clean an calm. The food is lovely. The staff is amazing and sweet and welcoming. The best for last, the rooms are spacious and comforting. Loved them

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage direkt am Strand. Sehr freundlicher Hotel-Manager. Tolle Bungalows und Zimmer. 3x pro Woche fährt ein Shuttle direkt vom Hotel nach Dubai und bringt die Gäste abends wieder zurück.

Reservation team is pathetic no co-ordination properly. Gave wrong reservation prices by the Hotel Reservation. Prior to booking they changed the prices and they are not expecting the changes as it is not fault from the customer side it is fault of Reservation side.just prior the confirmation they have changed the prices and wanted to expect the changes.no good support either by the hotel manager and the reservation team.there is no escalation matrix.no proper customer support.if it was not mine mistake it is completely false play from the UMQ beach resort reservation team and no proper communication from them.

Raised my concern yesterday at 07: 30 pm no call back from them.

Such a negligence and not proper customer satisfaction.there are like no bothered type

Be careful, specially babies! I stay in this hotel many times, I choose it coz of nice beach. This Eid we decided to book it again. Unfortunately it was no optional there was party during couple days so we thought it will be nice experience. We booked 3 nights stay. Because of hot weather we was staying in the pool to chill out. On second day I started to feel itchy in some parts of my body and on 3 night I wasn’t resist it was all my body itchy my evening end up in hospital with strong allergy reaction! I don’t know what they r putting in water of pool to sanitize it but it’s for sure abnormal doses of chemical by the way I’m not allergic at all! ! My husband have allergy on his legs and hands the same story! It was so many babies in the pool. I’m wondering who will take responsibility about and will it take? !

This is my second visit and let me tell you this.

Because of the pool, The most dirty pool ive ever saw in my entire life. This is the second visit and the second time i get afraid of getting in. The pool is so dirty you will see floating bugs. Oil. Even other people hair. This is the second time i go to hospital dur to skin damage and acne.

I dont advice ANYONE to go there otherwise good luck.

Loved this place!
Went here with my wife and we had a great time. The location is smack in the middle of UAQ. The facilities are amazing and so are the rooms.
The staff is fantastic and the food is spectacular.
The property has it's own beach bar and pool bar, which are equally stunning.
And to top it off they have their own liquor retail outlet, which delivers to your room at fantastic prices.
The rooms are huge and luxurious giving you an old feeling of UAE.
Perfect for families with kids too.

Excellent customer service, the room was spacious and cosy, the food was delicious. The staff went extra miles to make our stay memorable over there.the environment is filled with trees.love the clean beach.one of the best beach in UAE. Will come again.

A place to die for!
If you are looking forward to visit the beach and avoid the crowds and loud music in Dubai, don't think it twice and come to this beautiful place.you won't regret and will love to stay in the hotel for all the days! The hotel rooms are big, spacious, clean, beautiful decorated and so nice. The people is extremely friendly here, they are always looking ways to make sure you're well taken care.
The fact of being able to jump from the pool to the beach is a great plus when having a family with different likes about this 2 places.
If you're a dog owner consider to stay here with your pooch, they will love to meet other doggies at the beach.

Receptionists treatment was not so nice, they immediately started with their questionings as if I was sneaking in the resort. I don’t understand why they act like this but no problem. I booked a villa there and still wasn’t so nice, the villas are so outdated and need a lot of work and renovation. It’s so old and the DJ on the weekends is so dead I was expecting it to be alive and with so many people dancing but no. (Not recommended) and it was NOT during Ramadan at all…I’m sorry but this is my honest review according to my personal experience and compared to the many resorts I’ve tried

Best experience along with the Ollie Daze weekend Event. Honestly closest thing to European festival vibes that you can get. Great service! Everything is built around the customer:) see you soon!

All Wonderful. Would just like to suggest a vegan menu for the bar and restaurant and more options than eggs for breakfast?

Despite the 4 star rating there's many things wrong with the experience. I requested dental amenities and apparently the entire hotel doesn't have any. After that it was tea bags, they apparently ran out of that too? Lastly the TVs are barely functional.

This hotel is everything they say they are and more. We had an incredible stay here, super comfortable beds. Reasonable prices. Was not all inclusive but allowed us to bring our own food and drinks and enjoy them while making use of their facilities. We had an absolute blast. They offer more than they say they do and that is how you ensure your guests leave satisfied.
Free access to paddle boards, and numerous other beach sports and entertainment was the cherry on top for me. I cannot wait to visit again.

Despite being a great location and setting, and being able to bring my dog to stay, unfortunately the staff are unhelpful when booking, which put me off straight away. To make matters worse, we arrived for check in and the villa allocated to us was crammed full of parking and the villa was boiling hot as they had failed to start the AC (3pm in the UAE Summer - over 45 degrees). Once we started the AC it was clear that one was not working, although they fixed it fast it was symptomatic of the lack of care. No apologies and they refused to give us extra room water without charging. Unfortunately I won't be staying here again.

This place was amazing! The hotel is nothing fancy, but the beach and beach bar are worth visiting! Prices are very affordable and it’s much calmer and not too crowded as the Kite beach next to it. Felt like we went outside of UAE.

Hotel stay was excellent even the rooms were good but only concern was the swimming pool since the hotel is a pet friendly hotel they were allowing pets to the pool when it is shown that pets are not allowed. They have to be very careful because when kids are there and if these pets jump to the pool they will be scared.

Every time we are here, it is better than the last time. This year we visited the Beach Hotel and Resort Umm al Quwain the fifth time, this says everything. We will be back asap! Thanks to the staff which acts like a large family. We felt at home as always. Please keep Azeddine Azeddin, he is the best bartender I know, and I know a lot more!

Swimming pool was not maintained properly. Even though the swimming pool rule shows “no dogs zone”, we could see many dogs allowed in the swimming pool area and even they get into the pool which is considered very unhygienic.

Not recomended for family.poor customer service.many dogs are roaming inside property with out tie.some dogs are jumping inside pool.room service is very worst

In December, my wife and 18 month old and myself stayed at Umm Al Quwain beach hotel. The stay exceeded our expectations and I would highlight the following main areas for your consideration:
- beach: without a doubt, one of the cleaniest beaches you’ll visit in UAE. Wonderfully taken care off and pristine waters, unlike some of the port side beaches in Dubai that are filled with oil
- Food: great food options from the restaurant that we ordered poolside. Authentic Lebanese food and other favourites. Great quality!
- Rooms: we stayed at a room with a beach access; the rooms are spacious, well equipped and just has everything you are looking for in a beach resort. Close proximity to the beach, clean.

The staff is very courteous and respectful, they’re quick to react and available when you are looking for something.

I definitely recommend this hotel and I look forward to our next visit!

We came for staycation at Umm Al Qwain beach hotel for two nights from 7th April 2022 till 9th April 2022. It was a wonderful experience. The property is very green and well maintained. We booked the Ambassador suite which was facing the beach. We had two big rooms with their bathrooms attached. We have three year old and she had so much fun playing at the beach and pool. We had easy access to beach and pool. The beach is beautiful and clean, so was the pool. The entire staff is very friendly and very efficient. The rooms were very clean. Wifi was a bit weak but that didn't bother us as we were on vacation and wanted to be away from technology. The property is dog friendly. It was Ramadan time, breakfast was served in the breakfast area. Only wish was breakfast could have been a bit warmer. The entire resort ambience was very warm and homely. Just loved it. We have found our vacation home for short escapes:) :)

5 star for property, 3 star for rooms and interior (ambassador room). 3 star for room service. 4 star for pool and sheesha.

So disappointed on this hotel!

I will never come back and will never recommend this property.

First of all, AC was not cooling well. Secondly, the WiFi is totally useless. Don’t blame Etisalat of your slow connection. And lastly, the room was too smelly and the washroom seems like not been cleaned.

It’s a totally waste of money and time.

We went for Ollie Daze! It was absolutely amazing, great music, awesome vibe, lots of people of different ages, dogs allowed! We didn't try the food trucks that were there but the swimming pool was nicely cooled and there were lots of tables, beds, and chairs!

I would like to complain about the barrier that the hotel implemented, its steel wire my body is in real pain i have scratches all over my body, no hotel have ever fixed a steel wire with buoys.

Please reply and fix or change the wire I respect your privacy but the people’s safety is above your beach privacy.

The restaurant there is fantastic.extremely nice food and prices are so fair.recomend it for a try and you will live the experience.

Not totally hygienic rooms and was small plus too expensive fir not even having a kitchen. Beach was the only good thing there.

Can not get enough of this beautiful resort set in greenery & on perfect long sandy beach! Favourite place in UAE, great pool, the suites are big, comfortable & beautifully decorated! Staff is very nice too! Music is good! Food in restaurant is very yummy & affordable + its dog-friendly, pure paradise

The worst hotel in the UAE. To say the least, here is a jist of our experience: Staff not wearing their masks during the pandemic, especially the general manager. Check-in took nearly an hour and even when I finally had my key, room service was in my room cleaning the floor without our permission. Air conditioner leaking in all our rooms. Worst front desk service.no communication or problem solving skills.

The food was alright.the pool staff were friendly but overall the experience was a nightmare.
We wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for our dogs.we hope the UAE have better dog-friendly hotels in the future.

Good place, service bad according to price. Breakfast is good, but no fresh juice, buy drinking water if you are going to stay more than 1 day, Remember to bring sliper and dental kit. Free 2 towels for beach. Good swimming ‍️ pool, green place.

Good vibes. Clean and tidy suites. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is great and the bar's staff at the pool are really nice and friendly. Recommended.

No welcoming and very high room rates. The webs are not sure what level of rates should give. I hope this place getting better for service abd F&B with moderate prices.

Awesome place for a fun-filled get away, an hour drive from Dubai. Clean spacious, modern rooms, comfy beds, great well priced food, clean & well maintained beach, courteous, professional staff and most importantly PET friendly - our doggie loved the place too, I can go on & on.

We will DEFINITELY be here again soon. This place is an amazing escape from the city and it is great value for money. There was a nice breakfast selection and the vibe is chilled and friendly.

Beach side was really good and relaxing. The Rooms were old and there was a continuous water leakage from the AC. What I would like to appreciate is, they decorated very well as requested and the decoration was worth.
What I felt is staff was not aware of their own hotel policy. At the check out we were called 2 times to remind which was disturbing. Overall need to focus on customer service and hotel maintenance. At the buffet, I think it was not even worth what we paid for.

It is a great escape if you live in Dubai for a weekend. The hotel is quiet decent and the service is really good. The team is professional and friendly. The best part of the hotel is the outdoor and the Lebanese restaurant that they have. They have an amazing beach which is also a Dog friendly. We had a nice time during the weekend and they are planning to have every night a party on the beach.

We visited umm al quwain beach hotel for a staycation and for sure not coming back and never recommending too. The hotel looks quite old and the furniture have scratches. The room services says no for everything even for the options thats mentioned on the menu. Reception staff disconnects the call while we are still explaining our concern. We went there to have a nice weekend but it turned completely upside down. Breakfast was also not worth the money as everything was cold and there was hardly any options. The only good part about this hotel is the beach, other than that everything else is not worth your time and money.

Very rude and impersonal customer service from the first step in the reception. You have to wait minimum 15 min no matter the time you'll arrive and even if you're the only customer. Also, first time we were told that we need to leave the premises immediately after our check out (? !). Bad communication between the staff and poorly managed service (really gives you the impression that it's only about the money) which the only worth is the location and the food. The staff on the beach and pool are lovely except the towel boy which also had a very bad attitude just because we wanted to change our towels with clean ones. By far the worst reception service ever which is too bad because it's the 1st impression and just for that, it doesn't worth the money to stay. Also, rooms could be better and the wifi isn't available almost anywhere. We've been there over the years but just goes from bad to worst.

Excellent waterfront corniche. Lovely place for a a good walk. Jogging track iEvening walk, food, music water fountain, play area for kids, park, golf, museum, cycling, name it. You will find it all in Al majaz. Great spot for friends and family.s available. It has the biggest musical water fountain in sharjah.

Rooms were nice and simple, the ollie daze setup made it perfect for what we wanted of music, pool and beach parties.

Umm Al Ajwain Beach Hotel Beach is a awesome place for weekends and outings. It's premium 0lace for staying and beach seeing. Place is well managed and maintained. Beach shore is clean and neat. Rooms are premium and well maintained. Food is amazing with vast option to choose from.

We went there, husband, dog and I on Wednesday and stayed for a night. Well we loved the idea of the beach where dogs are allowed. Rather than this, our room wasn’t clean, breakfast wasn’t ready by the time they mentioned. I recommend you to go for a day use only to have fun with your furry. Nothing more than that.

A nice n budget hotel to spend ur weekend or a short holiday, has a Lebanese restaurant, a pub and also a liquor shop!

Lovely situation, all we wanted was a coffee but despite asking various members of staff if just a coffee was possible and being assured yes that would be fine. We asked where to go and was sent this way and that way but still couldn, t find a cafe we gave up and headed to RAK. Will not be calling in there again

Good location, peaceful private beach, weather is wonderful! Rooms could be better, but for the price its great!

Rooms are pathetic. Not at all compared to 4 star.

In room, bathroom was stinking. No dental kit, no shaving kit, no body creams. I had to go out to buy tooth paste and tooth brushes.

Floor was extremely dirty, u can not even walk without sleepers. Also, I had to call for bathroom sleepers. Nothing was ready to use.

Then I had to change my room in night.

Not at all recommended at this price. I spend Aed 800 for this experience.

Place is nice. Descent rooms with a shared living room. Better if they have equip the rooms with a microwave. Advisable with low budget. Breakfast is with medium variety and tast.

Loved the stay, we wanted a room right on the beach and nice swimming pool. Got both for a reasonable price. Rooms and other services are not top notch but works well. All in all its a good value for money for a quick break.

Nice place to go with family, beach was superb, children's enjoyed both beach and swimming pool, private apartments provides privacy and great environment around the villas.
Take care of small children on swimming pool as safety measures are limited.
Rooms are due for maintenancec work hope they will repair.

This is the best Lebanese restaurant in the whole UAE. Take many of your friends and try all the dishes at once. It is a great way to share with your friends and family. The prices are always super low and the staff are eager to serve. The food is great, I cannot stop going back.
