Akaru by Soul Senses Spa & Wellness

We returned here (Jumeirah Creekside Hotel branch) in Dec 2023 after visiting in a previous trip to Dubai, and we're likely to return here whenever we travel to Dubai in the future. For this trip, we visited twice in the 5 days we were in Dubai. The first visit we had Suarti and Moly and for the second visit we had Suarti and Amily - we throughly enjoyed both massages. Overall, the service and experience is excellent and highly recommended.

I recently visited Akaru Spa and had a medium to average experience. The highlight of my visit was the clean and well-maintained rooms, which provided a relaxing ambiance. However, I found that the overall spa experience was just decent and didn't quite live up to my expectations. The treatments were satisfactory, but nothing particularly outstanding. While it's a decent place for relaxation, I was hoping for a bit more in terms of the overall spa experience.

Absolutely had a good hydracial experience by Ms. SOYA. Highly recommended and results noticed as well.

It was my first time to visit Akaru and i was not disappointed. The therapist Ms Swarty was really good. She was able to calm my sore body. I requested for a soft/relaxation massage and she delivered. Keep up the good work I just wished the jacuzzi was working and was outside of the steam room. But overall my massage experience is well worth the time. The hotel is very very beautiful also.

They lady was super professional and help me to get relief from my back pain.

Very relaxing massage with an English speaking masseuse receptionist was very helpful with making sure you are comfortable and welcomed price was reasonable for the wonderful service of my Swedish massage they offer you water and tea after the hour long session if you want a shower they also provide with hot towels for your pleasure the lotions and oils used for massage are hypoallergenic and leave your skin feeling soft and smelling great like sweet jasmine not too strong

Amazing experience. Shwaruti has magical fingers that'll leave you sore for 2 days but it'll fix you up for over a month!

Just had the most relaxing facial at Akura spa. Soya was my therapist. Rowena was my mom’s therapist. Extraction can be painful but they took the most care to make sure I was comfortable. Would recommend! Also their relaxation area is so pretty

I had a classic Balinese massage with Manik, and at time I thought it was a bit painful at times, but it was amazing! She relaxed all my stress knots and was so good. I left sooo relaxed feeling like a jellyfish and slept for hours when I got home (it was still afternoon but who cares). Everyone there are also so friendly, the appointment was on time, and the spa is super clean.

Oh man, where do I begin? !
The pathway to the spa which is located on the 1st floor of the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel was so beautiful. Almost felt like walking inside a mini Greenhouse. It's like a tunnel made of clear glass with green lush plants on each side and sunlight passing through, just amazing!
Getting to the spa treatment, I had chosen the Deep Tissue Massage and my masseuse Manik was really good! She made that extra effort of working on the pain points additionally as I wanted.
All in all, a great experience. I am definitely going back soon

Really enjoyed spa therapy at Akaru.professional staff, well trained masseuses and you just feel absolutely relaxed at the end of the spa.facilitates include sauna and steam as well. I would recommend and go again.

The best Thai-aroma massage experience! From booking upto leaving the spa premises, it has been a wonderful experience. At first, when I was reading online reviews on Akaru, we've been hesitant because the reviews say that it's not that great, especially when you use discount vouchers. Well, whatever the old reviews say, I'm glad we came here! I highly recommend SUZI ️and MANIK ️ for their outstanding techniques! Both me and my fiance are happy, satisfied, and we wanted to stay longer and have a second massage right away Their glides and strokes are not too heavy to the point that you'll feel sore, and not too light to the point that you feel nothing, it's 100% perfect, it's such a premium service! You HAVE to look for them if ever you are visiting. I'm petite and Suzi has been able to step on me without me feeling squashed. My fiance is very bulky as he is a bodybuilder but Manik effortlessly managed to apply just enough pressure everywhere required. The TEA was the best ginger tea I had! It's spice completed the recipe to a wondeful spa experience. Hands up to whoever prepared our tea today. Great job Team Akaru!

The therapist (SWARUTI) was very knowledgeable, did a lots of foot massage for me (reflexology), didn't felt much that I have done body massage, strangly I didn't felt good after I finish.

Definitely one of Dubai's best Spas & Wellness Centres, made entirely possible by highly professional staff combined with well-designed interiors and high-quality wellness products. I have bought the 1500 AED package 3 weeks ago, and this allows me, and my friends and family, 10 hours worth of treatments. And today, we have used up the whole package!

Each treatment was handled so well - from booking, to preparation, and execution. We all had wonderful experiences and we have recommended them to more of our friends and family here in Dubai.

When I arrived I was impressed at how beautiful the spa was. It was quiet and clean. I was assisted immediately by the girl at the front desk, very nice spa in Dubai.

Been going to the Akaru aka Soul senses spa at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel for about last 6 months now and its been only amazing every single time. The whole location and the walk towards the spa is beautiful and lush green. Spa is located on the first floor and aesthetic interiors. Nikhil is the manager who greets and attends you with utmost patience and humble service which is great. They serve you water, green tea, ginger tea if you would require. The appointments are always managed on time. The therapists are well presentable and welcoming. The therapy rooms (tried Deep tissue and Thai-best ones) are big and clean, well maintained, hygienic and are equipped with spare towels and hygiene kits, sanitizers etc. The therapy is absolutely great and worth the money even if little on the expensive side. There is a relaxation room after the therapy that you are sit and enjoy your green tea or ginger tea after the massage. Overall is a great option and a must visit choice if you looking for professional massage treatments. Ensure that you always mention your stress and ailments so that the therapist can work on you accordingly. Specially this branch. Manik is one of the great therapist that you must try.

I really enjoy the Deep tissue massage here, the rooms space is so big and I find the therapists to be very professional. I recently had my first massage here with Rowena & she was amazing & paid close attention to the areas I mentioned needed most attention. I'll definitely always be back for a stress relief massage.

It is now fixed as my happy place. Best massages and facials I've had in entire Dubai, try Zenia for facial she is superb. You DEFINITELY get your money's worth, I'm impressed

There was a time I would swear by the amazing spa experience here and lovely receptionist - Rubiya. But not anymore. On 22nd of November I visited the spa with my mom.

The lady who did my massage was Micky, but she lied to me and informed her name is Hana. She was in a utmost hurry, she didn't press the points and wanted to get done with the massage at the earliest. I tried telling her about the pressure points as well but she just responded saying she doesn't understand English.

Well, after the massage we wanted steam and shower, we went to the changing room and no one assisted us in the process. We were done with the shower and steam by 12.15. Since it was 15 mins after their closing time as soon as we came out no one greeted us with thanks or offered us tea.

We were surprised as this wasnt done before.

Before the massage I asked the lady at reception, if both the ladies are Thai and she replied rudely and loudy saying all our therapists are good.

Well, Ekka was an amazing therapist but she left. My mom was very happy with the massage.

I informed the management about the above but they don't care about my feedback. I have been regular with them since almost 2 years but they have lost a loyal client and they don't care about it.

We get a couples massage once a week, and bought a groupon for this spa to try it out, looking for a new regular go to. Visually the spa is very nice, professional looking. But from the greeting through to the service, they have some work to do. Firstly, on the beds, was this cheap hygienic sheet covering the soft towels, something I would see in a waxing salon not a day spa. Then following, there was no real introduction from the masseuses, just once the each asked us if the pressure was ok, but never questioned if I have any areas of concern or places I don’t want to be touched. The massage physically was ok, 7/10. Unfortunately during our massage, very loud music was coming from the gym next door. At the end of the massage, inside the couples room is one tiny shower, no amenities inside the room. We weren’t offered robes or slippers or anything, all that was said to us at the end of the service was, ‘there’s a clean towel if you want to shower’, and then they left. After realizing there was nothing in the room, I searched everywhere for a robe, a hair dryer, I called out for someone to come help while I was wrapped in a towel. I was standing there calling out in just my towel for at least a full minute before somebody came to help. I asked if there was a hair dryer, one woman said ‘yes, in the ladies bathroom’ and she walked away. So not knowing where the ladies bathroom is, I walk wrapped in my towel carrying my clothes, no one helped, in search of the ladies bathroom. When I peaked around the corner looking, there was a man in reception, who saw me in my towel it was so embarrassing. Then two women come and take me into a room and give me a robe, finally. Why wasn’t it done in the first place. Then in the ladies bathroom one of the workers walked in while I was completely naked. Also, the facility has a very nice relaxation area for you to sit on the beds and drink your tea, but we were offered our tea in the reception, and the tea was a very cheap supermarket brand and it didn’t taste nice. Honestly the facility has all the potential of being a great spa, but the customer service really let them down. We left so disappointed and I couldn’t help but feel that it was because we used a groupon so we weren’t paying full price. Which we found so disappointing because if we liked the place, we wouldn’t care about the price, it’s a great location close to many restaurants. Such a shame.

Great treatments, very profesional and welcoming staff (Rubiya was on reception- Very helpful, explained me different types of treatments they offer), impressive facilities with a wonderful lounge, so far the best spa I ever been to. Rowena was my therapist. Surely would come back again.

Having travelled the entire world, this is undoubtedly one of the best spas I have been to. Highly-professional, clean & hygienic and amazing staff. All of their massage-therapy staff is excellent. It was everything is good my massage the massage itself it was good pressure and relaxing for my muscles it was Swedish massage except
-there isn’t many variations of the music just one type
- there not many times of oil just one type
-there room of the massage it hasn’t good relaxation smell
- no control of the temperature of the room to me was cold
-the oil itself was cold then I siad it cold so she make it worm which should from the beginning is worm because my massage is scheduled not suddenly
-the paint of the room itis not relaxing to the eye
In the end i will not come back or recommend it for anybody

We were running late and Rubia was kind enough to accommodate us. The massage was super from top to toe. We felt like new, esplly after a week long hectic schedule. Couldn’t ask for anything better. The ambience, hygiene, staff are top class.kudos to the team. If I have to be offer any feedback.an authentic cup of ginger tea instead of a tea bag will complete the experience. Wonder why did they stop.remember sipping on some lovely teavana the last time round!

The welcoming was warm and helpful. The front desk was very informative and made great recommendations for the service best suited for me.

I selected a deep tissue massage and that's exactly what I got. The masseuse was excellent in applying the right amount of pressure and ensuring I was comfortable.

I recommend this spa for anyone looking to escape and a enjoy well balanced massage. I will be returning.
